I would have actually given them 9.85 but that is not an option. Loved the place and the people running the show. This hotel has just been built by this beautiful family and they are running it with equal amount of love and passion. Everything is spic and span. Minutests of the details have been taken care off. Rooms and spacious and well equipped. A good spread of breakfast makes your start of the day even better. Extremely helpful people, they will do anything to make your stay memorable. The hotel probably has the most beutiful view and that is why the name.

This is like asking god to make Switzerland even more beautiful. Nothing that you can not like about this place.

1/ The breakfast was awesome and delicious. Wide range of choice selections as well - pastries, eggs, cereals, cold cuts, yogurts, sausages, coffees and teas. 2/ As the hotel name (and the bus stop name) suggests, it offers a spectacular panoramic view of Grindewlad by the hotel entrance. Our room was facing trees partially, but we could see the majestic mountain views by the side too. At night, we can clearly see the skies filled with stars. 3/ Some may find the room small, but it was just right for my better half and myself (we find it cosy). The interior design of the room was great and well furnished. There’s also a balcony, allowing us to take a look at the breathtaking mountain views 4/ The hotel is just next to the Panorama bus stop, easily accessible by bus (bus 122 arrives at the hotel front, bus 121 gets off at Klusi station and takes a few minutes walk only to reach the hotel; recommend to take bus 122 if you arrive with luggages; bus 122 last ride at 19:44 during winter) 5/ Staff were helpful and kind too. Really appreciated their hospitality Overall, my better half and myself love this place. We strongly recommend it and we would come back here if we were ever to pay Grindewald and Switzerland another visit P.S. I almost never write comments for hotels, but this was worth the time for sure

Our stay during summer was fantastic! Staying in this location does come at a cost, but really for what we got it was well worth it. The whole hotel was very modern and super clean and tidy. We had a stunning view from our balcony, however even if you didn't have a balcony the view from the communal terrace was just as good. The hotel has a big communal lounge area that also had complimentary tea and coffee machine as well as the ability to purchase snacks and other drinks if you liked. The breakfast was fantastic and started nice and early so you could go out and get on with your day! All the staff we came across were super friendly and helpful and even offered us a lift down to the train station when we were leaving which was super nice. To access the hotel there are two buses, one literally stops at the front door and the other stops about 10min walk away. However there is also a nice walk down into town that cuts through the houses, its a bit steep on the way back up though! Great spot, great people, really enjoyed our stay.

It was a very minor thing but the lighting in the room didn't actually allow the room to get all that bright.

The hotel opened recently and it shows, the whole structure is absolutely new and in perfect conditions. Breakfast was supreme with an extensive buffet and a great variety of delicious options. The entire family and staff were super nice, always friendly and giving recommendations for best ski options, accommodating for needs where possible. The concept of "honesty bar" (no staff, self declaration of what's taken from the fridges) is also a really nice idea that fits well with the property being a botique hotel with a limited amount of rooms. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about this place! Please ensure you get a room with the view - although you can go to the outdoor common area as well see it during breakfast, it was truly breathtaking to be able to wake up to the view of the mountains as well as take it all in from the comfort of your own balcony. The staff were super friendly and we really appreciated the washing machines and dryers after travelling for over a month! Breakfast was also delicious with a range of items and loved the idea of the honesty bar. We couldn’t have been happier with the location - it was quiet and peaceful and not too far from the city centre, and was only a short walk to Grindelwald First.

The location, setting, views and staff were all fabulous! Breakfasts were great, giving all the energy needed for action packed days in the gorgeous mountains, both cooked and non cooked breakfast options available each morning, tea, coffee and juices were lovely. We had the superior king suite which was very spacious and had amazing views directly onto the mountain. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, giving advice on activities and places to eat, even helping with bookings, they even bought my wife a present and card for her Birthday!

A mini fridge and draws in the room would have added to the excellent facilities.

The location of the property set back from the town higher up had amazing mountain views and was very peaceful. Great location to do lots of activities and day trips, although be prepared for a steep hike up from the town, we found a few shortcuts with beautiful views on the way. The hotel was modern yet felt very homely and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with lovely staff on hand all day answering any queries and asking what you had planned and offering advice from experience.

Wish we had booked the mountain View room as it was so beautiful sitting on the balcony and eating breakfast with those views!! Our room was lovely though and we made use of the balconies downstairs to have a few drinks in the evening enjoying the surroundings.

This property is totally amazing in every area. They answered all of our questions gracefully (and we had many). We had seven family members. The breakfast certainly gets a 10! So many different offerings on the buffet and coffee table! The view is spectacular! It would be difficult to find anything comparable. They have free laundry facilities as well (bring your own detergent). The recent total renovation by the owners is so perfect—modern yet feels like home. My words are so inadequate to truly describe how marvelous this property is! You won’t be disappointed!!

The service was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. They were always friendly, attentive, and willing to help. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. We appreciated the organized parking and the comfort of our room, which was not only cozy but also newly furnished with high-quality amenities. Overall, the hotel provided an excellent stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grindelwald

Incredible place, beautifully decorated and lovely views. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choice and super fresh. Roy is a lovely and really very generous person (the owner) who clearly wants his guests to have a very special stay (lots of special touches). We personally will never forget this place! Katie (Katrina), thank you, nothing is too much trouble for her. We expected this hotel to be really nice, and it exceeded our expectations. Excellent in all ways! Sorry that we only stayed one night during a 6 night trip to Switzerland in march. The hotel is around 20 minutes walk from the train station (we were told but we never did the walk). There is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
