We had a lovely stay at pleasant peak. It is between a hotel and a home stay set up, and the family were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was great and we were offered cups of tea throughout our stay. Amazing views from the balcony, big glass windows looking out - at times this means you have a bit less privacy. Location wise, you are up the mountain which allows you to get the stunning views - we would walk down to Ella town in about 15 minutes though would get a tuk tuk back up. There is a steep flight of stairs up to the property anyone with mobility concerns should be aware of!

I really love everything about this place! I highly recommend you to stay here, you will experience the hospitality from the owners as well as their kindness, they will help you with everything and the view is really incredible! I was blown away from this experience. Amazing food and breakfast which you can enjoy on your terrace. Place was very clean. The owner also drove us wherever we needed and gave us a lot of advice. I will definitely come back one day!

We had an excellent stay. We arrived and they were able to help us with our luggage. We had a wonderful welcome tea. The rooms were very clean including the bathroom - with hot water shower. The breakfast was plenty and exceptional. Lovely local in season fruit and avocado toast. The family is so kind and helpful for any questions. The morning sunrise view is breathtaking

The most wonderful family, so friendly, helpful and kind. We felt like at home. The room was very clean and the view is amazing! The breakfast was delicious and everything was freshly made by them and brought to our balcony. The owner helped us with our luggage and took it to our room. He also drove us to places with his Tuk Tuk for very low prices. Lovely stay!

Everything was just perfect. The venue is great, from both the two rooms you can have a stunning view. The rooms are big with a huge window where you can have a beautiful panorama of Ella rock and Little Adam’s peak. The host is super polite, nice and helpful. He took us all around Ella for the entire day. At the beginning we booked only one night, but as we arrived there we decided to stay there one night more to enjoy the area and the kindness of the hostess. We had dinner one night and it was absolutely yummy, like the breakfast!!!!

The few steps to reach the room worth the view!

Fast internet (WiFi), veeeeeery delicious breakfasts and an amazing view from the balcony, where you can see Ella Rock, Adam's Small Peak, and Ella city Host and family are very nice, helpful Family also have a tuk tuk, which is comfortable

The only one thing – sometimes hot water is not hot enough But it's not a big deal at all, 10/10 anyway

The view from the room was amazing. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The host family was really nice and helpful. The breakfast provided was really tasty and you can request for additional meals if you like .

There’s a stairway to the property but I don’t think that’s exactly a problem if you ok with it but it might be bit hard for an old person.

The view was a dream!

During the night, when the room or balcony lights are on, many insects are attracted. So we sat in the dark which was a new experience. There are also about 100 steps to reach the residence. In contact with the accommodation, they can transport your luggage as well as you by tuk tuk from a local way.

The view from the terrace is exceptional. We could watch the sunrise from our bed. The room itself is nice with a huge comfortable bathroom (toilet seat doesn’t get wet when you take a shower - I think this can be typical in SRL). If I remember correctly, there was no mosquito net, but we haven’t seen any mosquitos in the room, so it was nor a problem. The host and his family is really nice. The breakfast that they made was our favorite in the 2 weeks that we spent in the country. Location is up high, it is not an easy hike, we did it only once, usually we took a tuktuk from the town. Town is in 15 min on foot.

Amazing location and really good value for money! Such a lovely old couple that tak s care of you during the stay. The fact that the homepage breakfast is included is just such a bonus!
