Our stay at Swiss Diamond Hotel was fantastic. We loved the hotel, its location, the outdoor and indoor poor was brilliant, the restaurant and the bar superb. Everything was so convenient and just made our stay very easy and relaxing. The view from our room was exceptional. But the biggest advantage of this hotel is its staff...professional, kind, they could not do enough for us...we were so impressed how amazing people working there were. Absolutely exceptional. We also loved live music every evening in the bar and restaurant area, that was soooo lovely. Thank you so much , we will be back xxx

Absolutely nothing.

It’s incredible classic hotel with stunning view. All the staff are very nice and welcoming. Amazing pool and comfortable sun beds. Live music and very romantic dinner area. Perfect location, it’s very close to Lugano and in the same time is very calm and relaxing. Thanks to Jasmin that grows near the pool, the smell was so good! Perfect place to relax in summer and winter!

It would be nice to have a fresh water everyday (it was offered only at the first day) and maybe a variety of fruits at breakfast Everything else was exceptional

Value for money is not great: 1. Facility requires some modernization as finishing and furniture looks used, f.e.missing tiles in pool and jacuzzi 2. Too hard matrass 3. Air con doesn't work well 4. Shampoo is extremely bad and no hair conditioner 5. 20 chf for a simple aperol spritz It doesn't look as 5 star hotel though it was the best option in this area and it's really hard to find smth more modern in Ticino

The room was finished to a high standard with ample space for 3 (2 adults and a child of 14), a large bathroom and breath-taking views. We were made to feel very comfortable and the service was professional and caring. the view from the top floor breakfast area never ceased to amaze and one could while away hours sitting and sipping a coffee while taking in the vista. The breakfast selection was ample albeit that over our 6 day stay, the selection was exactly the same daily. Some variety would be welcome. This, however, is of minor significance. The location was, for us, ideal. On the lake, with a great pool and bar area and proximity to both Lugano & Como, and not far from places such as the Balcony of Italy and Bellagio,

Beautiful view, the spa is great and the lake access is also wonderful. We booked a suite which was very comfortable. The outdoor pool area is also lovely, and the Vico-Morcote area is fantastic. Our second stay at the property.

No help offered with bags on arrival, slow service at reception (two staff were chatting in the office behind while we waited), housekeeper was overwhelmed with work. Breakfast is now on the ground floor whereas the old space on the roof was much more attractive.

They say that a hotel is only as good as its staff, and I couldn't agree more. Your staff captured the heart and soul of Switzerland, and it was evident in every little detail. From the moment I stepped into your hotel, I was greeted with warm and genuine smiles. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to assist me with anything I needed, and they did so with such grace and hospitality. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests and took pride in their work. What made your staff truly unique was their ability to make me feel like family. I have been living in Switzerland for quite some time now, and I have come to know the warm and welcoming nature of the Swiss people. However, your staff took it to another level. They made my stay feel like I was visiting family, and I cannot thank them enough for that. I must mention that I was going through a tough time during my stay. It was my birthday, and I was feeling sad and lonely after a recent breakup. However, your staff's kindness and warmth made me forget all my troubles. Even the friendly band that played every night was so welcoming, and it truly touched my heart. I would like to extend my sincere thanks and congratulations to the management for having such an exceptional team. The pool area on the edge of the lake is great, with fantastic views. The rooms were comfortable, with spacious bathrooms.

The restaurant food was reasonable, but overpriced, even by Switzerland standards. Although the staff were friendly, the service was chaotic, with very long waits for food and drinks. There is only one electric car charger, and lack of communication between staff meant our car didn’t get charged when we were told it would be. Please consider installing some more chargers.

The Hotel has a certain charm and is located on the foreshore of Lugano Lake which is nice. Views across the lake and into the mountains from the room are excellent. The room we had was comfortable. Good location for getting away from crowds in nearby Italy for a more relaxing time. (although we ended up exploring the area instead of lying by the lake or pool)

There was a lack of opulence we were expecting. While there was nothing to complain about, there was just a little bit of pizzazz missing. The room we had faced the water however there is a road between the room and the view not obvious in the pictures. It's still close and the road is not that busy, but it disconnected the hotel from the water. The staff were nice and also friendly, but not as effusive as we'd experienced in other similar quality hotels. I have seen other reviews saying the opposite so perhaps that was just our experience. In-room dining prices were something to behold especially when you can't help but convert to your own currency. Overall, a good experience. Just not one of the great ones.

Honestly, everything. The view was marvelous and magic, service was beyond expectation, the breakfast was superb, they have a shuttle service that brings you downtown, to the airport and to the rail station, this place is absolutely the place to be. It was an absolute blast! Pure paradise

The location cannot be beat. Right on Lac Lugano. Pool area is stunning. Service was top rate. Breakfast was sumptuous. Room was comfortable. Personally I feel Lugano is preferable to staying on Lago de Como. Quieter and less frantic. Also better value. Switzerland is more expensive than Italy for food and drink. Also recommend a room with a lake view. That room comes with a balcony and is lovely in the evening.

The hotel could use a renovation. it’s a bit dated. Maybe a little worn in spots. Although I have to say the indoor spa was beautiful. Everything was clean it should be noted.
