We had a wonderful stay in Negombo! The accommodation was perfect for our family. The pool was very clean and inviting — our child especially loved spending time there and felt very comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly and always helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. There are also many good and varied dining options nearby, offering a wide range of local and international dishes. Another big plus: the accommodation organizes a convenient airport transfer, which made our arrival and departure stress-free. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Nothing, All was okay for us

It felt like a family home rather than a hotel. The owners were warm and welcoming and accommodated all my wishes. Magdelina arranged reasonable airport transportation for me and was up at 3am to greet me and carry my bag up to the room. The fan and AC kept the room cool and comfortable and it was fun to chat with other guests at breakfast and around the pool. The hotel was in a perfect location just off Lewis Place and a five minute walk to the beach. There were shops and restaurants in both directions within a three minute walk. It was a bargain. I highly recommend it.

Had apartment on ground floor. Very spacious, liked the floor tiles & mosquito net. Had fans & a/c in bedrooms and each bedroom had separate ensuite. Great, long pool. Hosts are exceptional. Lovely people. Perfect position to access tourist restaurants (short walk). Massage centre booked via accommodation highly recommended. Upmarket & good value with pickup and drop off provided. Anything that needed maintenance the husband got straight onto it. Great stay

Would recommend sponge, dish soap, and tea towel for kitchen. Lounge area too big for a single fan or move to be above chairs.

Loved the pool. Proximity to other restaurants and the beach. The breakfasts were very tasty. Loved the Sri Lankan breakfast of egg hoppers. Magdalin and her husband were very helpful and they were ever ready to help. She even phoned the massage place when they hadn't replied to my msg. Great for a short stay. They accept payment in cash

We had difficulty with the mosquito netting over the bed as it didn't have a frame over which to be draped. So we ended up not using it. A very minor issue.

We stayed at Holiday Fashion Inn after flying into columbo late at night, and needed somewhere to rest after airport travel. This is the perfect little spot in Negombo. Location is a 10, It's close to the main beach, short walk to restaurants, tuk tuks to explore further. Negombo beach gave us our first taste of Sri Lanka, it was bustling and busy and so wonderfully exciting. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children, the two bedroom apartment was perfect and the pool kept the children entertained for hours. The owners are kind and so helpful. The room was spotless, the breakfast was great.

This is a very basic, no frills property but is close to the beach, has AC and friendly staff. The husband and wife team live in the attached house and a very nice breakfast is included in the price. Magdelin the host also helped arrange a 2 am airport pick up for us and greeted us when we arrived at 3 am! She was also willing to store a couple of bags for 2 weeks while we toured Sri Lanka. The upper units have balconies overlooking a small swimming pool and garden.

Nothing! All good, but if you’re looking for luxury and special amenities, this is not it.

We stayed 3 nights at the HFI and booked a 4th night because we felt so at home there. The family running it is super friendly, especially our 7month old son loved them. If you ask for help, everybody gives good advises anytime. You are welcomed every morning with a fresh Juice, fresh fruits, eggs and sausage, toast and Gelee, and sometimes sri lankan breakfast variants, ...and a smile from the owners. Our room was clean and modern and the hotel is situated at a very central point, 200m from the beach. We can recommend the Holiday Fashion Inn to 100%.

Massive 2 bedroom family room. Magdalin arranged a pick up from the airport for us and was up waiting for us after midnight. The breakfast was delicious, and Magdalin was so helpful with information about Negombo and transport. The pool is a welcome respite from the heat and although the property is close to the beach it is very quiet. A lovely couple of nights in a daily run business in a beautiful Colonial abode.

We stayed in the family room, which was really large; two bedrooms and a living room with kitchen corner. It was right next to the nice pool. Hosts were super nice and made delicious breakfast. Restaurants and beach within walking distance.

There was noise that distubed our sleep; some ladies used the pool very later, after closing time, other guests very loud in the breakfast area next to our room, also some noise came in from the road next to the hotel. Pool water did not look very clear and there were quite a bit sand in the pool too.

The staff ... Mal in particular 🥰 … were wonderful and really accommodating. Ask and you shall be given accompanied by a lovely smile! We were right by the beach but were able to use the grounds of the accommodation away from the busier part of the beach, which was nice and Mal offered tips and any assistance we required.. We felt very well looked after and any problem was very quickly dealt with. Highly recommended

It would have been a nice to have a kettle in the room but Mal was really happy to provide hot water when we needed it . 😊
