The room is very nice and clean with good views of the city. The location is perfect - I don't think you can be more centrally located in the city - everything was within a 5 -15 minute walk at most.

Sofia greeted us and was nice and helpful. However, we were very tired from the trip and there was just too much information to aborb. It would be helpful to have key info in writing - we just couldn't remember everything we were told. Also, after the initial greeting we never heard from anyone. For breakfast, you have to pay for a voucher to a cafe about 1 block away. That's OK, but there was a cafe right outside next door for about the same price and just as good.

A very comfortable room with a great view over the roof tops to the mountains. Everything was very clean and tea & coffee was available in the lounge area. Restaurants and convenience stores are close by. It’s a short walk to markets, restaurants and entertainment. There is a bus stop a short distance away, with buses direct to the major train station.

The street is quite run down. As there is no reception on the ground floor it is essential to have wifi to make contact with the manager to gain access. (We had no problems as the manager was there to greet us.)

We didn’t have breakfast (although it was available at a nearby place).The accommodation is very handy being between Via Roma and Via Maqueda plus near the airport bus stop on Via Roma outside Rineschente Department Store.Marcello the owner is a very helpful ,friendly and polite host and offered help regarding the location of buses etc.The accommodation is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with a nice shared area full of books about Sicily and Palermo and where you can make tea or coffee.We were also able to leave our cases before our night flight a huge help.We were in the Triple Room which had a beautiful view out over Palermo to the mountains beyond.This will be our first choice to stay next time we are in Palermo.

It’s not a dislike,it would have been nice to have some fold down chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view.

It was our third (fourth?) time at Marcello's, who is a very generous and informative host. As always, we loved it there! First things first, the room has the best bathroom in Sicily! It's modern, practical and has a great shower and shower cabin with disco lights (of sorts), you'll know what I mean once you stay there. The view is spectacular and the location, too - you are spoilt for choice of food and drink in the very close neighborhood! There is a common room with a coffee machine you can use and some guidebooks for you to look through. We loved the lift, too, rather old school but sooo cool! Oh, and the air conditioning unit in the room is very quiet and very efficient, you hardly notice that it's working. Oh, and you can have breakfast vouchers for the cafe nearby. It's in a beautiful square and it's an attraction in itself. And a very good deal that Marcello offers, too, once you check their prices.

Kind and helpful staff. Sofia kindly agreed to help me with my luggage before check-in and provided helpful info about restaurants and local markets. I also like the view from the room. The location is excellent as you can walk to everywhere, i.e., Botanical Garden, Cathedral, Massimo Theater, lots of nice restaurants and cafes, local markets. I stayed 3 days but I am looking forward to travelling to Palermo soon and stay in the same place again.

This is a great place to stay in Palermo. Location is very central, our room was really nice and spacious with a beautiful view over the rooftops and mountains in the distance. And spotlessly clean. Marcello, the owner, was charming and very helpful with whatever we needed. Bus to airport is 2 blocks away. Optional breakfast is at an historic cafe around the corner (great people watching). Would highly recommend this as a perfect place to stay.

First impressions of the b&b entrance (it’s on the 5th floor of an apartment building ) were a bit off putting- the street seemed a bit run down- but it’s absolutely fine & safe and it’s between 2 big main streets so it’s really about location location location.

Location is perfect, main attractions are very close to the apartment, yet there is not much noise since it is not directly on the main street. Only on the weekend (Saturday) we heard music through the night but it was not something that bothered us that much. Marcello the owner is very polite, helpful and responsive, I could tell that he cares about the guests and wants for them to have a really good stay. He explained everything to us, what to visit, where to eat, he even gave us a map and circled everything important. Thanks Marcello! The room was modern, with great view, the bed and pillows really comfortable.

Really kind, friendly, responsive host. We had a beautiful, clean modern room and bathroom in an old building with views of the mountains and steeples and domes of the city. There is a small lift which was great for luggage as the B&B is on 5th floor. Marcelo gave really good tips for where to eat and what to see, a welcome bottle of water and offer of a coffee on arrival. We could leave our luggage before check-in and after check out, which was so helpful. We had lovely breakfast in a beautiful square across the street with the breakfast vouchers. The location is perfect for seeing the historic centre and the airport bus stops 5 minutes across the street. Highly recommended 5 a stay in Palermo

Marcello is a great host. He's kind and helpful and he's help was invaluable in Palermo. We had our plan for trip, but with his engagement it's possible to travel without previous preparation. Localisation of the BB is also superior. all places worth seeing in Palermo are available by walk. The surrounding is secure as it could be in Palermo. The apartament was clean and looked nice.

Amazing view from the balcony in this lovely city centre apartment. Excellent communications from the owner and helpful options given to consider exploring. Breakfast discount was welcome.

We always appreciate the chance to make a coffee in the morning without leaving the room. Something to consider maybe.
