Good location, good value for money, free parking is good and secure (parking garage opens with a card key). Fridge is NOT included in room, but can be requested at additional 5$ per day. Room safe is included for valuables storage. Breakfast is NOT included, but there are 2 good breakfast places right next door. Especially we liked Mel's Diner across the street, very good food and service. Overall - we liked this hotel.

The hair conditioner was out. Shampoo was almost out. The bathtub trim looked like it's about to break off. Would be good to add additional 'chain' type of inside locker for the door.

Great location with nearby access to good restaurants and shops in an attractive neighbourhood. Easy public transport connections to most areas of interest and walking proximity to a number of interesting sights. We had no vehicle and felt no need for one here however there does appear to be good access to parking in the building. Comfortable and spacious room with a good bed, worked well for our 5 night stay. Reasonable value and helpful staff.

Room was on a busy street and not particularly well soundproofed. No electric jug/kettle for making tea, this is a common and annoying defect in most USA hotels despite being standard equipment almost anywhere else in the world.

Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, good location

Kitchen was NOT well stocked. We purposefully got a suite with a kitchenette, but the only kitchen supplies were a few utensils, two frying pans, and one pot without a lid. No measuring cup, no lidded pot, no colander, no baking sheet/roasting pan, no cutting board, no mixing bowl, no dish-drying rack, etc. And the handle on the microwave was broken. We made do with what was there, but if we're paying for a kitchenette, it would be nice to have the supplies to use it.

Staff were great and helpful, answered questions we had about transport and the area. Very helpful at checkout too as they stored our bags for us due to our very late flight times. Also gave us some informatoin regarding a bus tour that saved us money and was a brilliant way to see the city. Room was excellent, if a little noisey (face the main road) but that was not much of a problem to be honest. The facilities were excellent and bed very comfortable. We didnt need it but there is parking at the hotel as well. They were doing some renovating as we stayed there but that did not intrude on our stay at all.

Easy to reach, excellent position close to lot of facilities. Parking is included and considering you're in SF it's well worthed. Chestnut Street is right around the corner and it's plenty of shops, bar and restaurant. Bus stops are very close: you can reach every part of the city with ease (if you're planning to use public transports for a day, be sure to get the daily pass ticket and not the single run one). Comfy bed, bathroom is practical and neat clean . Overall the room is spacious and well furnished. Staff are kind and helpful

It's a great location and free parking is a big plus. Make sure you do not get a room facing Lombard Street, it's really noisy and runs 24/7. Best to go for Superior rooms on the 3rd floor which have been newly renovated but ask for one facing Chestnut Street. Buses stop across the street to go to Fisherman's Wharf. To be fair the manager did give us a 40% discount on an extra night because of all the hassle.

Well staff couldn't tell me the number of the stop the Big Bus tour stopped at despite it being right outside and a major tourist attraction, it took 3 days to sort the TV that did not work, they ask if you want your room cleaned which is odd, I presume they are trying to save money, even then they sometimes leave it to the afternoon. The heating controls seem to have a mind of their own, you set it at say 70*F and the heat comes on, but once it gets there it then switches to Cool and the A?C comes on ! They would not guarantee me a Chestnut Street facing room even though the hotel had minimum customers which seems odd. It all seems a bit disjointed and I got the feeling that a little staff training would not go amiss.

The room was great. It was quiet, at the back overlooking a roof - no view; but it that was why it was quiet. The bed was comfy and tv fine. Tea and coffee were ok. Good location near chestnut street and a couple of diners / restaurants for breakfast. It was on the open bus tour route which was great! They kindly looked after our bags for us after checkout before we left.

Staff were nice enough. The guy checking in was a little hard to understand due to his accent and a mask. When it came to check out what appeared to be the manager appeared to be having an argument on the phone and openly snapped at a staff member which was a little off putting.

We booked this hotel because it was in the area we needed and it was very reasonably priced. Those expectations were met. The room was large and very comfortable, bathroom was a good size and very clean. I would say that the property would benefit from some updating. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly, efficient and helpful. There were loads of restaurants nearby and bus stops close by for travel around the city. We never felt unsafe when walking around.

The fact that the hotel didn't have a restaurant or a bar. But we were aware of this when booking and therefore made alternative arrangements for our meals.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Cow Hollow. We highly recommend this hotel. It is in a good and safe location in SF. There is plenty of parking available and it is free. Our room was clean, had lots of electricity plugs for phones and computers. Tub/shower was clean. There was plenty of hot water and the drain worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room didn't have a refrig or microwave. We didn't realize it until we checked in. The front desk told us that other rooms had refrig and microwave. Our bad for verifying beforehand.
