Character-filled rambling big guesthouse has a Thai flavour and seems to have been designed with holistic healing in mind, but other than a massage chair in the rooms, I saw little evidence, and the gigantic dining space was empty. I saw few staff in the week I was there and it seemed like just a great budget hotel. Barely heard any noise from other guests and was happy with my very sunny room. A brief walk to Katoomba Street and walkable to/from the station. Would recommend.

Supplied milk was always off so I bought some from nearby ALDI and kept it in the downstairs fridge. I would also have loved a fan as it was hot. More dunny paper, please.

5/5 – More Than We Expected! We stayed at the Hearty Center Motel in Katoomba from July 12 to 13 and absolutely loved it. We booked a standard room and were impressed from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail and cleanliness were top-notch, and everything in the room felt thoughtfully arranged and well-equipped. One of the highlights for us was the massage chair – such a relaxing touch after a day of exploring. The room was quiet and cozy, and the shared bathroom, although not private, was always clean and available whenever we needed it. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. The location is perfect – just a short walk to Coles, cafes, restaurants, and all the main attractions in Katoomba. It’s also a great base if you're planning to visit Blue Mountains National Park. The staff were kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. For the price, this place was an incredible value. We had an amazing weekend, and this motel exceeded all our expectations. Definitely coming back and recommending it to others!

I had an excellent stay at hearty center. The motel is spotlessly clean the bedding is of good quality and super comfortable for budget accomidation it was great. I was given a free upgrade to a queen room with massage chair and after a day of hiking it was greatly appreciated to have. I was also lucky to watch the sunset out my bedroom window. What i also loved about the place is its very peacfull located just back from the main street of katoomba in a nice neighbourhood. I loved my stay and will book again when staying in katoomba.

Spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff it has the feel of a quiet retreat , very comfortable beds with hot and cold modern sinks in the rooms white yet colourful linen well ventilated room's cosy older style bathrooms but the cleanliness is 5 star generous shower heads for a refreshing recharge after any activity. There is a modern guest kitchen and dining facilities for all fridges microwave toaster coffee tea etc a sort of semi hostel/hotel euro feel set up only with fringe benefits. Not your average, quaint and above average eco hidden gem not super luxurious but great for groups or solo travellers or families with competitive to budget rates far above youth hostels in many ways different but good. Decent respectable worthy of your patronage.

Not much if you accept it's not super luxurious it's honest above basic great simplicity nothing nasty give respect and you'll get a priceless smile back great value.

Not sure this place does the wellness gig anymore but it is a comfortable accommodation. Lovely staff and in a quiet location. Massage chair in most rooms, although these kind of hurt more than they help in my experience! There is a meditation room if that takes your fancy. Off street parking available.15min walk to one of the best breweries in Australia, Mountain Culture. Epic beer and killer burgers.

No a/c in room or fan! It was warm when I was there and the room was warmer than I would like but not much I could do about it. Single shared fridge in communal area provides limited space to store personal food/drink. Some selfish twat filled most of it up with their stuff.

Loved awesome hospitality and genuine staff who have gone above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For me cleanliness is extremely important and they have delivered on that, crispy clean sheets and clean bathrooms. They have complementary massage chairs available in most rooms, and there are two more in the common area. This is not a fancy hotel with all the luxuries but a safe, clean accommodation that feels like home. We have also learned sooo much about our health by having a consultation with Thu, she is genuine and extremely knowledgeable. It’s rare to meet such a person who’s intention is sooo pure, you can clearly see her life goal is to help people heal and she goes well beyond her job description.

Great accommodations, we had a great time there. I wasn’t very careful when ordering, so for me it was a pleasant surprise to see a massage chair in the room. I think it is amazing that after a long bush walk there is a nice relaxation opportunity in the motel. I was also impressed with the shower. It is located on a calm, quite street, beds were comfortable, so I sleep like a baby. I think prive/value proposition is great, highly recommended.

The bathroom and toilets are shared BUT extremely clean, so I wouldn’t consider this argument as a down side

Hotel is absolutely lovely and has a character! Bed was extremely comfortable, I had very effective massage chair in my room which was very useful after a long day of hiking. Shower was amazing and hotel was super quiet. I appreciate that I was allowed to leave my luggage in the hotel after my check-out so I could do some hiking before my bus. Hotel also has kitchen free to use and free filtered water for drinking. Kettle and sink in the room are very handy aswell. I could not be more happy about my stay!

Some people would not like sharing bathroom. I don't mind at all. Hence I haven't given a full 10 despite the arrangement being quite comfortable. It's quite a classic little hotel now spending most of its life as a health retreat. The big massage chair looked very tempting (and woukd have been irresistible to the trail runners doing their 50 and 100 km slogs over the mountain trails on the Saturday. I had to get away to the nephew's wedding, however.

Actually what I didn't like was leaving fairly early as we had to rush home to a visitor.

Nice and quiet location, staff were friendly and supportive. I like the option to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee. The massage chair in the room was great. Facilities have a sauna, which can be booked and paid for separately.

Room vanity needs proper clean up. The shower box was great but is falling apart. No matter how one tries, water still goes on the floor, which can be slippery stepping out of the shower box. The heater in the room is noisy and too small to heat the room.
