We spent 5 nights in July at the Aparthotel and it was the best choice we made. 1. Staff: I believe one of the most important thing is the staff, because you are relying on them in a strange place. Christen was very helpful, who was also a great help with the check-in and out. The room was cleaned every day and we got new towels. Even though we lived in an apartment, we asked for breakfast. It was a good decision too. Every day started great, they were polite and professional in the restaurant as well. They paid attention to details, even without asking. 2. Location: It is located in the middle of the city center, so an excellent starting point in any direction. The main train station, from where you can visit other cities, was a 10-12 minute walk. Interestingly, I did not find any grocery stores in the city center, except for the Aparthotel street, where there are two within a 3 minute walk (Karstadt, Rewe). There is a restaurant and a café on the ground floor of the Aparthotel building, due to these seating areas there is some street noise, but this is not noticeable with the windows closed. Because of this, AC was a great help. 3. Facilities: The room is exactly as in the pictures. Well maintained, good sized rooms. Huge and comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equipped. The coffee maker and mini oven were very useful. The AC worked great. 4. Breakfast: Breakfast was in the restaurant below the Hotel building, 1 minute walk. It was nice to start the day on the outdoor terrace by the river. I drink several cups of coffee a day, so I have experience with many different places, countries. One of the best coffee, both as an espresso and a cappuccino! Keep that brand! It's worth going to the restaurant for that reason alone. The breakfast is just like in the pictures. Huge portions, and delicious. The scrambled eggs with bacon were very tasty because of the seasoning in the eggs. After any breakfast of your choice, you won't be hungry until late afternoon.

The apartment had everything you could need- comfortable bed, kitchenette, spacious bathroom with a great shower, and small enclosed balcony. It’s right in the centre of the Alstadt, only 5 min walk to Haupmarkt and loads of restaurants. The bed was very comfortable, and the room has good air con. Online check in process was easy, you can store your luggage in a small room before check in behind the apartment building, at the DasPaul Hotel/ Bar.

It would be better if there was a reception desk, but the self check in works well if you’re tech savvy enough.

Everything to do with our stay was fantastic from the early electronic check in to the storing of our bags after check out. The location is central to exploring the Old Town. The apartment was spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We stayed 2 nights and our room was cleaned and new towels were provided after the first night. The washer/dryer was also very handy to have in the apartment. The Das Paul restaurant was excellent for breakfast. I would encourage all travelers to get the breakfast. The bar is also great for a late night drink. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I would 100% recommend.

As a family if 4 adults we could not find any faults with this accommodation.

What didn’t we like? ! Honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in a very long time. The studio was well equipped, the location can’t be beat, and ALL of the staff were excellent! Their breakfasts were superb! The choices were varied and creative. We had to leave at an ungodly hour in the morning but breakfast was prepared in advance so we could take it with us. Thank you for the kindness and the care. Our server ( who was blond and very very patient) is an absolute gem! We look forward to returning.

Parking.. but we parked outside of the inner ring and walked in. The bedding should have a better bottom cover 😉.

The location to old town was amazing. So was its proximity to a public parking garage, which we needed since we drove. There are so many restaurants and shopping seconds away from front door. We also loved the space (3 bedroom and 2 bath)!

The main bathroom has a very dangerous step-ledge at the sink. I was worried about this and, sure enough, my daughter fell from it. Luckily she was not seriously hurt but she twisted her ankle. For older travelers this may be something to consider. We had to put a chair behind the ledge to avoid this happening again.

Really interesting service, mostly automated but you do get staff in the main bar that can help, which was the case with us, especially since we showed up at the bar rather than the apartment! All things considered, really comfortable stay overnight, the room is clearly set up for slightly longer stays, so imagine it'd be good for a week long trip etc. and with air conditioning,l, means that summers should be cool enough as well!

One of the chairs in the room was missing a small fixture, so it wobbled when we sat on it. Not a massive point all things considered, but just something for hotel management to note and repair!

Everything. We loved everything. The only problem we have now is that we are now in another city and wish we had just stayed in Nürnburg. We had the best time and made wonderful memories. I have been telling everyone i know how awesome our experience was. The bed were comfortable. The air conditioner was a blessing. The kitchen layout and bathrooms were exceptional. The housekeeping staff was so nice. I forgot to leave a tip because we were so distracted trying to move to our next location... going to have to figure out a way to send one...

That we had to leave. I am very sad to leave.

Great aparthotel in a very heart of Nuernberg city. Comfourtable apartment, having all necessary facilities as could be excpected in this kind of accommodation. Soundproof walls and windows. Nice cafes and restaurants all around, a couple of minutes to the shopping street and the main points of attraction (historical heritage). Comfourtable bed, Lavazza coffee machine, electric stove with a selection of kitchenware, even a dishwasher. Nice staff, promptly reacting to reported problems (our coffee machine has been immediately replaced with a new one after our call). Many thanks! 🙂

A bit noisy street besides the hotel, yet the traffic is not intense. And all noise dissapears when you close the windows.

Very good central location, convenient online check-in, sound-proofed windows (it would be unbearable to sleep without them, there are noisy bars next to the hotel), coffee machine with capsules stocked up daily.

No active ventilation in the bathroom (you need to keep the windows open) and some things were already falling apart: shower mixer button was semi broken, bathroom mirror was cracked, black marks on walls, etc. The idea to open the room using your phone via app is not that comfortable in real life (too many clicks needed, the battery may die, etc.). I recommend to program traditional magnet cards (available from a location nearby, address in the lobby). No chairs in the room, just some cubes, which are not comfortable to sit on for more than 5 minutes.

The hotel is in the city center which is very ideal for a one day stay. The room was small but had all the essentials and was comfortable. We had an issue with opening the main door but the staff was very helpful when we called them.

I had received multiple messages for the online check in. One via booking.com, one via email and one via sms and I had completed the check-in via the email link so I didn’t open the other links anymore however the one that is sent via sms is the one that contains the digital key for opening the main door to access the hotel and then go to the room. So just make sure to read all the messages that they send.
