The room was great, a decent size with space for a sofa and a big TV. Also a little TV for the bed. Food was great, both dinner and breakfast.

Lovely hotel, excellent location and the Sunday lunch was delicious. I like the fact there was ample parking, in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating too. The rooms were a good size.

The breakfast and the set up at breakfast wasn't great. It was like a creche with lots of noise and running around from children, which just isn't appropriate when people are carrying their food. Someone had spilt milk in front of the buffet table and the staff just put a teatowel over it. Even without that, there wasn't a lot of space around the small buffet table, you had to reach over open containers to get to boxes of cereal and bananas, some children's hair was getting into the yoghurt when I was at the counter, which was a real put off and we paid extra for the breakfast as it wasn't included, some of our party had the full English, which was mediocre with undercooked bacon, which unfortunately is typical for hotels, and the croissants were stale.

Eoom was excellent with direct access outside, which was very handy for taking the dog out. Dog 'package' was very reasonable and included a treat pack, dog bed and water bowl. The staff were all very cheerful and attentive and fussed over the dog. Full English breakfast was tasty, good quality food well cooked.

Breakfast was a little bit small, not a lot of content for the price. We also asked for both tea and coffee with our breakfast, this is normal for us, but it seemed that it was a very strange request and, whilst we got both, we had to ask for more cups.

The location it was not far from Beamish museum. The rooms we ok the bed was large and comfortable. The bar grounds dining room were nice. Every single member of staff were so nice….its worth 10/10 just for them. The food was extremely good, and the hotel is priced very well. I would recommend this place. ❤️ Especialy Ava and Kieran in the dining room they were amazing…..thank you both. But all the staff were so helpfule.

For us the biggest thing was AIR CON….The weather was very warm and we had no air conditioning in the room. Its something thats expected in every hotel. They only had a few fans so getting a fan was a problem. If they sort that out it would be great…..just get more fans if you don’t get air-con Beamish park. But thats the only thing. Everything els was great.

We took our Labrador with us and due to the layout of the hotel, it meant that the rooms on the ground floor all have a sliding patio door that leads straight outside to where you park up. Really easy when travelling with a dog to nip him out for a quick walk. The room was great with a huge bed. Very clean and even got a doggy snack bag. We had a meal in the evening and the food was great, not the cheapest but the quality was worth the money. The staff were all amazing and really friendly we were okay to take the dog to breakfast with us (sat in bar area) and he even got his own sausage served up in a dish! We will definitely be back.

There was nothing about the stay that we didn’t like.

Lovely staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and staff were accommodating when my husband something that wasn’t shown as being available on the menu. Nice large room with both a bath and a very good shower. Very convenient for Beamish Museum.

Some areas on the stairs are a little tired and a new carpet wouldn’t go amiss but this did not detract from our stay at all. There was a wedding on whilst we were there and the actual venue for the ceremony seems to be in a corridor that connects the reception to the bedrooms which seemed a little bizarre as it is used as a walkway

Position of the hotel was superb for Beamish Museum and visiting other areas too! The staff were very professional, but very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast choices were excellent with fresh fruit, yogurt and juices. The hot breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious too with as much fresh tea and coffee as you wished. Speedy service, delightful dining room and nothing was too much trouble.

The bedrooms need a light refresh and the pillows were not comfortable at all, but on the whole if that's all you have to be negative about, it's hardly worth mentioning! Brilliant stay!

Just came back from a stay here. The place is lovely. staff are great and they take great care of your little doggies too.The food is beautiful will definitely return. As a none driver there are bus stops just down a small bank which is very handy. There is also a woodland area across the roads to walk your dogs. Tanfield railway museum is also just along the road too. Thankÿou Beamish park hotel xx

There are a few roads nearby located on a bank but didn't spoil my stay at all. Was still quiet no road noise Go down the bank cross the roads and go through causey arch to a woodland area where you can walk your dogs.

Warm, friendly welcome on check in, spacious ,very clean room with a comfy bed and comfy pillows. There was a bath which was very welcome after walking around Beamish museum all day. We had our evening meal in the on site Bistro, the staff all gave excellent customer service and the food was exceptional, it far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was also excellent, everything fresh and beautifully presented. We would definitely stay here again.

No glasses/tumblers in the room and we needed to take our medication with water, however, we asked at the bar and they obligingly gave us some.

This is a lovely hotel the website does not do it justice. The room was lovely,comfortable and clean. It was nice being able to park our car right out side the room much easier. Food was really nice both for breakfast and evening meal. Staff was friendly and helpful.

No air-conditioning in the room and having a downstairs room with patio door this was lovely but at night when it was hot didn't want to open the patio door while we was asleep . The hairdryer is not great very slow and it cuts out.
