I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Nairobi. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms were well-maintained, but also very spacious — offering all the comfort one could ask for. A special shout-out to Simon at the restaurant, whose customer service went above and beyond. He was attentive, professional, and always had a warm smile — truly a standout in the hospitality team. I’d also like to sincerely thank Jemima from housekeeping for her exceptional attention to detail. She ensured my room was perfect every day and that I had everything I needed. Many thanks as well to Doreen, Kevin, Sara, Anne, Irene, and the many others whose names I didn’t catch but whose service contributed to a great experience. I genuinely appreciated the warm hospitality throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nairobi and look forward to returning!

The staff were very helpful, caring, and always friendly. A special thank you to John from the concierge team – always smiling, incredibly helpful, and truly made our stay better with his warm attitude and positive energy. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from and really good quality. Our one-bedroom suite was very spacious, clean, and modern. The laundry service was excellent – our clothes came back the same day, perfectly ironed and hung. The security at the main entrance was very thorough, and we felt very safe at all times during our stay.

Despite having a small kitchenette, there was no cutlery, glasses, pans, or other essentials – which made it unclear how to actually use it. The Google Maps pin is incorrect, and we had some confusion with our driver the first time we arrived (though the booking pin was correct).

Very nice hotel, very kind personnel, good facilities, very good breakfast, area that felt safe.

Less than 24 h before our arrival and check-in, the hotel emailed us that our room/suite was unavailable due to overbooking, although we had made the reservation more than 3 months in advance. They would have transferred us to another hotel (with less stars) and didn't even offer a refund, just a discount on a next stay. Last minute and just an hour prior to our arrival to the hotel, late in the afternoon, they emailed us again saying there was a last minute cancelation and our room would be available. The whole situation caused us a lot of frustration and stress and would have never expected that such a franchise would overbook, let alone inform us last minute. However, the staff were very understanding and finally our stay was exceptional.

The service was immaculate and the staff friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We hired a hotel car and driver more than once, the rates were good and the drivers more than helpful. Our driver "found" the cultural show that should have taken place at Bomas but had been moved to another location due to building work. Sadly, the change of location wasn't advertised but, bonus for our group, we had a private show! Which was amazing!

We had a small hiccup when a meal, which had been ordered, didn't arrive but mistakes happen and the staff went all out to make up for it.

The breakfast was superb, fantastic choice, always fresh,the staff were friendly and attentive. You are close enough to the city centre but without the noise. The Kenyan Arboretum is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and guests get free access, well worth a visit.

They are the other side of the city from the airport so timing is everything when you have a flight to catch. My room was right above the area where any groups or DJ's play, on those occasions it's best not to be in your room ( very noisy).

The arboretum (maintained by the forest department.). The pool, the sauna, the gym, the bed, the shower. Staff and security is top class, helpful and polite.

Food. They never cook what's described on the menu. They miss putting in promised ingredients... they don't have them.. Weak presentation of food. Half the ingredients including meat are taken out of the fridge and shoved into their club sandwiches, rolls. The F&B manager was never present on site even at early dinner time through all these 7 days. Billing is not clear with no details of taxes. An advertised USD 30.00 breakfast is billed at a higher cost. It appears they manage to beef up by 10% the invoice calculation when they adjust their shillings with usd against credit card blocks. 15% booking.com discount on F&B was welcome in this overpriced culinary mediocrity.

Our stay was exceptional, quality service from most of the staff. The breakfast was so good with options. The rooms were clean and the entire property was clean. You also get access to the arboretum. David and John best staff at the property.I will surely return here.

Nothing not to like here . Just that if you have lounge access be careful with the waitress (dreadlocked, slender and tall lady) who serves the bar and the lounge, she made us feel uncomfortable while in the lounge.

We had a fantastic stay at this five-star hotel. It’s modern, spotlessly clean, and feels fresh. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh options. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to receive our rooms several hours early as we arrived in the morning. Upon returning from Mombasa, we were greeted with a thoughtful touch—fruits and sweets left in our room. The Arboretum nearby, with free access for hotel guests, was a great spot for a run or a relaxing walk. The staff were always happy to help and even took time to have pleasant chats with us. We also had access to the executive lounge, which was fantastic. It offered snacks and beverages throughout the day, and from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, alcoholic drinks and warm dishes were available—definitely a highlight of our stay.

A few areas for improvement: One thing to note is that Sunday brunch at the pool and restaurant area gets very busy and noisy with local visitors, and the swimming pool can feel overcrowded by the restaurant guests. It’s perhaps not the best time for guests looking to relax. In addition, there was no outdoor shower by the pool, so many people entered the pool without rinsing off first, which was a bit unpleasant. Food and drinks in the executive lounge occasionally ran out, and we had to request refills a couple of times. Despite these minor points, we had a wonderful experience overall and would highly recommend this hotel to others!

An excellent top class hotel! Very service-minded staff, perfect room with comfortable beds. The first night we were disturbed by music from a nearby church but the hotel was quick to let us change rooms. On our last day we had a long wait for our flight to leave. Since the business lounge was included in our room, we used it before going to the airport. Very beautiful and comfortable! The food is good and whenever we thought something was not right, the chef came out and politely accepted our objections. Then we were compensated. Perfect treatment. We have absolutely nothing to complain about.

A Relaxing Escape with a Minor Hiccup: Our recent 4-night stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Nairobi Arboretum was a lovely experience overall. The hotel's location is fantastic. Nestled right next to the Nairobi Arboretum, it offered a peaceful escape from the city bustle while still being conveniently close to central Nairobi. The lush greenery of the arboretum was a welcome sight, and we enjoyed taking leisurely walks through the park during our stay. Entry to the park is free when you show your room key. The staff at the Radisson Blu impressed us. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Every interaction was courteous and efficient. The rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and clean place to relax after our daily adventures. While the hotel was fantastic overall, we did encounter a noise issue. The soundproofing between rooms could have been better, and on a few occasions, we were woken up by noise from neighboring rooms or hallway activities. This was particularly disruptive one night at 2 am when loud guests were yelling in the hallway right outside our door. The situation became quite alarming when they even attempted to open our door. We think alcohol was involved. Thankfully, the hotel staff responded incredibly well when we informed them of the incident. They were attentive and genuinely apologetic, doing everything they could to ensure a peaceful time for the rest of our stay. The manager even went the extra mile by sending a handwritten note apologizing for the disruption. Despite the occasional noise issue, our stay at the Radisson Blu was quite enjoyable. The excellent location, friendly staff, and clean rooms made for a mostly relaxing and comfortable experience.
