We recently stayed at this lovely hotel and, while it could use a bit of renovation, the experience was still fantastic. The building and rooms show signs of aging, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere made up for it. What truly stood out was the staff – they were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Their hospitality really added a special touch to the trip. We had the half-board option, and I have to say, the dinners were absolutely delicious! Even though I’m not usually a fan of Italian cuisine, I found myself enjoying every meal. The flavors were so rich and the dishes were well-prepared, making me rethink my stance on Italian food. By the end of the stay, I can confidently say I now appreciate and even love Italian cuisine, thanks to the hotel's fantastic dining! Overall, if you're looking for a place with great service and amazing food, this hotel is a great choice, despite needing a bit of a refresh.

The location was wonderful, as was the staff. Super helpful and nice. The pools were nice, albeit smaller than the pictures show. Room was comfy and clean, and the location was very good. It was a 10 min walk to the centre and/or beach. The aircon was heavenly!!!

The restaurant was very businesslike. No music, and the (very friendly!) staff kept hovering over you. There’s also no outside place to eat, sir you’ll have to take your meals inside. There were a lot of nice restaurants nearby so it was not a problem, but I missed a little bit of cosiness. I agree with others that the interior was a bit dated, but that wasn’t an issue for me. Also: if you want to rent a scooter (which I highly recommend!) you have to pay in cash. Just so you know!

Very nice and friendy stuff, swimming pool was nice and not packed, great location to the old city center, fair “car and bike rental” prices, cleaning room drvivej daily, great value for the money.

Breakfast was very poor, mostly sweet and dry cakes, when you come later for breakfast you have not many options. Noise in the rooms and hall early in the morning, doors seal nothing. Hall lights are “on” all the night so the light goes inside the room. Not nice beaches in the near distance.

Breakfast - Disappointing . By 9am may run out of food other than cake ! Overall the breakfast on offer was predominantly cake , awful “ orange “ coloured juice, occasional cheese, salami, boiled eggs. The croissants were nice but gone some days by 9am . Given how pleasant the hotel they need to improve their breakfast quality by a lot !

The room was very clean with a regular housekeeping program, the location was amazing, you can have access to all over the island through buses and taxi boats. Night life near the Porto and Castello Aragonese are the best of the island. The staff was extremely helpful, available and kind

The breakfast was very fresh and delicious every day but it was always the same things and very simple. Maybe it can be improved

Location is very good, short walk to the restaurants and town. They were very accommodating and changed our room because we had no aircon. The pool is lovely, a little chilly but grand once you’re in! The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel itself is also very clean. Breakfast is basic continental but was fine for us.

Lumpy hard pillows. Bring your mosquito spray! The walls are very thin, we could hear the people in the next room. Luckily we were there at the end of the season so it was generally very quiet.

The pool was cold although is presented as "always heated thermal water".

It was a quaint small older style hotel . It had lovely surroundings and 2 good pools . It was a short walk to the free beach . There's a few restaurants, gelato, fruit shop and bars close by . Walking distance to the castle with many shops , supermarket, restaurants and bars . Around 1 klm maybe less . Then if you walk the opposite way There's the main street/plaza with beautiful shops etc . There's even a small cinema not too far away . I was very happy with my choice . I was travelling by myself. I had a single room it was simple but very comfortable. There was a large balcony. I had a fan that was sufficient. I kept the glass doors open as there were shutter doors which allowed the fresh air in and you felt secure . There was a bus route with a bus stop close by . There appeared to be parking for plenty of cars . They supplied breakfast it was adequate. But don't expect eggs and bacon . It was a very simple , fruit salad , sweet cake , croissants, bread , cereals , yoghurt, cheese and salami . Fruit juices and coffees. I really enjoyed my stay there . I was able to hang my clothes out to dry on the balcony to dry .

No air conditioning. But I was able to keep my glass doors wide open and close and lock the shutter doors adjusting the opening on the shutters to let the air flow in . I had a fan that was efficient enough.

Scrupulously clean, gorgeous hotel. I loved it. The staff were courteous, kind and polite. The room was lovely and well equipped. The surrounding areas were lovely. Grounds very well kept and clean throughout. Really couldn't fault anything. The garden and pool were immaculate and beautiful. The indoor area was immaculate too and set out in a lovely style; kinda old style retro but I love that and love that they retained that and didn't change. Loved the old pics in the hallway. The room was quiet and I particularly loved the shutter system which worked so well in keeping out noise and light when I needed sleep. This is something so important when on holiday thats not often found nowadays...kudos to Pineta for this! And also, respect to the cleaning staff (rooms and pool) who do a wonderful job; you maintain the hotel par excellence 👏

Excellent central location pool and garden areas extremely well kept,overall cleanliness of the hotel is very good.air con is good and nice and quiet.

Breakfast was basic but adequate, would like to see some fruit available.
