The room was airy with lots of natural light. It was also very clean and tidy with everything you need. Mattress was comfortable. They offered complimentary breakfast items in the morning, which was handy for a business trip with an early start. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay!

The windows were not completely sound proof so you could hear cars driving past at night. But the street on which the hotel is located doesn't seem to be a busy one so noises were just sporadic on a weekday night, which was not a big problem.

This was an absolutely lovely little hotel, me and my husband enjoyed our stay so much here. The staff we met were helpful and polite, rooms had everything we needed, lovely little touches as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the space in the room, and how comfortable the bed was, I normally hate hotel beds and this was a dream! It was enough away from town that it was quiet, but we walked to the Symphony Hall in 10mins to see our show so close enough for us to not need a taxi. Perfect for what we wanted, a couples night away, and we'd definitely stay again! In fact we were really sad to leave!

The only thing I could say is on the stairs there was a spot or two where the wall was crumbling, I think it needs a re-plaster here and there and that threw me for a moment, but it was just superficial. And the plug in our bath probably needed resealing as even my husband struggled to make it water tight (we did in the end though). Really small things that did not at all take away from the lovely stay.

The breakfast was not included in my reservation. However, these guys were thoughtful and provided a daily light start for everyone. Think fruit yogurts, fruits, or some healthier types of cereals. A special thought for the adjacent restaurant, The Button Factory: I had an excellent early dinner at the restaurant. If you go there and, in fact, anywhere in Birmingham, please (I mean it!) ask for the Attic Brew beer. If you fancy ales, I am sure you will thank me later. Top ale I had in my life :) But be open-minded; after all, it's a "forward thinking beer," as they call it. And last but not least, a high five for the staff working at the Button Factory. They also manage the reception for the hotel.

I don't really think I have something I do not like. I just noticed that the heater in the room was set to a maximum that made the atmosphere pleasant. During my stay, we had minimum temperatures around 12–13 Celsius. I wonder if the maximum temperature of the heater can be adjusted higher if the outside temperature goes downwards. But again, it's only a thought I had.

The house was full of character, which we loved. We had a spacious room with big windows and a great bath. They even supplied bath salts, a treat for me. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The location was perfect for us, on a quiet street within walking distance of New Street Station and other city centre facilities. We had a very relaxing stay.

It was great for us, but the pub next door has music until late at weekends and an outdoor terrace at first floor level, so it could be noisy at times.

Very clean toilet and accessories.

The way to pay,it should be automatically when requested by booking. Com but here when I booked through booking. Com and when I reached at accommodation on front desk it will manually putting credit card number and expiry date this will surprises for me. I requested to do all details on the time of booking and desk only deduct required amount by paying machine rather than putting card details manually in front desk system to avoid customer un comfortable.

Room 15. The property was quite trendy with modern furnishings. Spotlessly clean. Very large room. Very comfy bed. Fridge, complimentary water, fan in room ( there were actually 2 fans but we didn’t know how to work one of them) Friendly staff. We were allowed early check in which wasn’t an issue for them to offer. We were offered 20% off food at the popular bar next door which looked great but we had prior arrangements. Good value for money.

We haven’t stayed in Birmingham before and this boutique hotel turned out to be a bit too far out for where we were going, which is no fault of the property. Some of the plasterwork seems a bit crumbly, the distressed paintwork hides a few sins but not all. The breakfast wasn’t great. The bread/ bagels were presented still frozen and took ages in the toaster. Ham and cheese for breakfast was Parma ham and Emmental which was a bit niche. A bit more choice would be an improvement.

This hotel is fantastic. For little money I got a unique, cosy, well designed room in a beautiful building. The bed was super comfortable, everthing was spotless, the bathroom had everything I needed. During the week there´s no breakfast. This is no problem though. For most hotels in this category you pay extra for a small breakfast. For that money you can have breakfast nearby. The hotel provided fruit, yoghurt, coffee, tea etc. for free. All good. I think it was one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. I doubt you can have a better experience in this city for a normal price. *****

Nothing. Everything was very good.

This place was decorated so beautifully. The room itself was huge and had been finished to a really high standard. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was included and they had a great selection. Great value for money and a really central location. I was really impressed by the room itself.

When I booked this, I was messaged regarding the possibility of noise as the hotel is located right next to a bar. Our room was right at the back directly next to the bar, and we could not hear our own speaker over the volume. Luckily, me and my friend booked this for a Saturday night and had planned to go out that night, so it was not an issue. However, there is no way we could have slept otherwise, so only book if you plan to be out until late :)

Gorgeous hotel with great interior ,bedroom was gorgeous with great character, pub adjoining to it was lovely and the bar man couldn't have been any more helpful & nicer, looked after us really well , nice continental breakfast too in morning

I could not fault the hotel apart from I had an early arrival after being on go since 3 30 from Scotland in morning , hoped to have got into my room for around 1 /2 pm especially when I had an event at 4pm didn't get into room till just before 3pm , did message previous to enquire to get in a bit earlier but sadly to no avail. Still gave 5 🌟 because it was very clean and loved the character about it

Right in the middle of the jewellery quarter. Just opposite the venue we were going to. Quirky, we liked the quality of the bedding and towels. Breakfast next door at the Button Factory was very convenient. Very friendly helpful staff. A 20% discount on lunch as we were staying at the hotel was a real bonus. The food was delicious.

Nothing. Parking was a little difficult until after 6pm but staying on a Saturday night and leaving on Sunday, the parking was free after 6pm and on Sundays.
