The hotel is located very close to the train station and also to the city center. Lots of great restaurants nearby and other eating options. The room was really comfortable and roomy and the staff friendly and very helpful.

The breakfast was great, location superb, we also had a housekeeping accident which the hotel managed so well. The gentleman from syria serving in the breakfast area was amazing. Always so welcoming and helpful. It was very hot in munich and having a well ventilated room and AC was great.

Very well designed property. The room was on the small side but didn't feel cramped, quite the contrary. Bed, pillows, bathroom all were excellent.

This otherwise excellent hotel is let down by its location. It's within walking distance of the Central Station and the Sendliger Tor U-bahn but that doesn't mean it's close by. It isn't. It's actually located in a rather run-down area. Cheap phone stores and tiny little markets surround it. Not a scary part of town, but not the most inviting either.

Cosy room, tasty breakfast, and quite a good location if you need to be near the Hauptbahnhof.

The hotel was excellent. Brilliant location. Clean, and did everything we needed. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful; rooms made up each day, and spacious and pleasant, common area was exactly what we needed (plenty of space to sit and chill and use the wifi etc). All round a great experience and I would definitely come again.

Really not much to say here. The only thing that remotely springs to mind is that the road outside was pretty noisy first thing in the morning with work being done, and people bussling around. However, that is the nature of being so central, so wasn't a major issue.

Great value for money, a convenient location as it was only a 20 minute walk from Martin Place and the train station was just around the corner. Buffet breakfast was delicious and always refilled. Check in was smooth with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. House cleaning was also great, room was always neat and tidy. Bar had a great atmosphere and we spent every night here enjoying delicious beers and cocktails made by Laus, we thank Laus for his amazing customer service and making us feel right at home. All the staff went above and beyond.

That we didn’t stay longer!

I think this has been one of the best hotels i ever stayed in in my life. Not because it was overall some luxury thing, but because it met all the things i require in a hotel without providing extras. I expect basic things, but in perfectly working condition, very clean and very well cared about - and this all was there: the cleanliness, the well cared for rooms, the comfortable lobby both with chill out zones and spaces for working, the fast wifi etc etc. It also has a really nice garden where i drank my morning coffee. The breakfast is not bad too!

Just a personal preference: the mattresses are rather soft. I prefer hard mattresses, but it is just a personal preference. The pillows, by the way, are splendid! Not just two, but two with different height and softness! I have a stiff neck, but they worked perfectly for me!

The hotel was in a great location for walking to Marienplatz which took about 25 min and then easily from there to Hofgarden and the English Garden. The street the hotel was on wasn't great but we found that after you go right from hotel, take 1st right then 1st left was a nicer way to walk to Marienplatz. Area around cathedral at end of the road was lovely with a lovely Bavarian restaurant called Zur Festwiese near there with excellent food which we went to twice. Hotel staff were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with continental or eggs/bacon option too. The highlight of the hotel was the bar. Not many bars in the area so this came into it's own. Lars the barman was a top man. Very friendly and helpful with information. He ran a very efficient bar and no matter how busy it was you never waited long to be served. There was always a lovely atmosphere in the bar and a pleasant way to end your busy day of sightseeing especially listening to all the different accents around you. I would recommend this hotel to stay in.

Compact space, but still comfortably spacious to sit around away from the bed, with a table for tea, coffee and writing. I like that a fridge and some simple coffee / tea facilities are available. The bathroom is nice, even with separate hair shampoo and body shampoo (most similar-budget hotels I took during the trips to various cities just offer a common shampoo). The soundproofing of the windows is pretty decent, and I wasn't disturbed at all by any noise from the road.

Nil, pretty happy. But, learning from a hotel in Berlin I went to, a coffee machine and a (sparkling) water dispenser on the ground floor lounge could be better than having instant coffee / tea packs and bottled water in individual rooms. Some inconvenience to guests perhaps, but better quality, and more environmentally sustainable.

Everything about this hotel was brilliant. The room was spotless and the staff were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The location suited me perfectly. It was within walking distance of the rail station and the opera house. The area offered many market shops and eating/drinking places. A definite bonus was enjoying a drink in the evening in the outside seated area. I plan to return to Munich in the near future and will probably stay here again.

I didn't find anything to dislike but it would have been nice to have an English news channel on the tv as provided by other hotel groups.
