Our room for 2 people had ample space, comfortable bedding, great spacious wash facilities and a generally cosy atmosphere. In addition, the staff at the pub served up a lovely breakfast and were helpful with any queries we had about our stay generally.
Checking in and out didn't feel the most intuitive, as myself and my mate needed to find staff at the bar in the pub both times and ask what steps we needed to take. However, once we'd found someone, the staff then became extremely attentive to sorting our questions anyway - then the real fun began of a lovely stay!

Despite the heat wave, my room in the old part of the building was cool. Room was excellently and tastefully decorated with large comfortable bed. That said, friends who stayed and hadn’t opted for a larger room reported poor state and very very warm.
Staff were very much pub staff, and not hotel staff. In that I mean some of the attentiveness and professionalism was lacking in some regard. Wait times for breakfast (despite being empty) was bordering on unacceptable, as was our wait for dinner the previous evening, a dinner which one of our quartet didn’t eat because he (not a fussy eater) doubted the freshness of the produce. All in all, very 3 star, which the price reflected.

The staff were extremely professional and really friendly. We received lovely service from Britney while checking in and also Scarlett when we dined for dinner. Both ladies were lovely to my and my family. The rest of the team were extremely nice too but these two stood out the most.
The lower grade room could have had a new lick of paint but was really clean. The suite was also really clean but the shower pressure was really bad and it was awkward to have a shower. Other than this the stay was amazing with no other flaws to highlight

Perfect for my dog who I could let out our door to the garden.
Chocolate is toxic to dogs and there was a huge basket of crisps and chocolates in room which my Labrador could have easily reached. It also looked like it was free at first but then all the things were very expensive. If we had arrived with children then they would have wanted all the crisps and choc but that would have meant a big bill for parents. It’s too tempting for children. So basically I didn’t like that a huge basket of so much chocolate and crisps were in the room. Never seen this before in a hotel room. Must be a new way to take people’s money which I don’t appreciate. Only two normal free tea bags to use, which is one cup of tea each!

We had a slight issue with the type of room we booked with booking.com (we thought we booked a superking bed but ended up with a double). I raised the issue and The staff, in particular The Manager couldn't have been more helpful. Luckily there was another room available and essentially we upgraded. The room was beautiful, overlooking the garden. There was an honesty drink & snacks bar. The room was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Good choice for breakfast and excellent service.

The room was lovely and the bathroom spacious. I loved the extras like body lotion. Clean, comfy and welcoming. Staff were super friendly on check in. Really cosy but spacious hotel, great decor and lovely atmosphere. Absolutely stunning grounds, gutted I didn't have much time to enjoy everything on offer. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
The restaurant/bar was super busy so warning to book a table would have been helpful. Excellent evening food but you definitely pay for that as more expensive than we'd anticipated. Staff in restaurant superb though at night.

We arrived at 8.50pm but unfortunately couldn't find d it, drove past 3 times as the sign outside was not lit up, neither were the gate posts or tree lined drive. Once we eventually found it, the kitchen had closed. We were directed to the local garage a mile or so away! Breakfast was lovely, as were the breakfast staff.
Too dark to find! The shower kept going hot and cold

Newly renovated while keeping to a very traditional English country bed and breaking. Room was very clean and tidy. Fridge and Bath in our room was a particularly nice touch. The surrounding area and pond provided a serene summer’s day backdrop while the pub furnished us with a really nice selection of wine. The food was also very delicious and staff were very courteous. Whether staying the night, having dinner or just wanting a pint at a quaint Surrey Pub, the Worplesdon Place comes highly recommended.
I’m a big fan of Young’s Ales and beers, but a slightly wider local Surrey selection would make a nice addition. (Hogsback?)

We always live this place. It’s super dog friendly. They even had a dog treat box in the room for us which was full of dog treats. The food is excellent. The freshly cooked pastries were out of this world!!! The staff are always so lovely. Last time we came, we even hopped on a 30 min train into central London. The free parking too. The grounds are huge! We also loved the patio door which led into a secluded area of the grounds so we could let the dog out to do his business. There is not much to not fall in love with!
Only let down was the room floor was a bit grubby. With a huge stain by the door and some sort of sticky chewing gum stuck in the carpet. That was literally it!!

The surroundings of this property is just amazing. With the beautiful lake and trees alongside wild ducks and black swans I could of stayed there for much longer than planned. The room was very comfortable and very wet kept. I loved the power shower it was so nice and the honesty box full of treats was a lovely touch. The staff were so friendly and helpful , as a single travelling lady I felt extremely well looked after. The selection for breakfast was delicious with lots of variety . Thankyou
The shower drain was particularly slow which I was worried may over flow but this was not a problem.
