Very good position riiight next to Gare Saint Charles, so very easy to reach with public transport. Some people would mind the announcements from the station but I didn’t mind. We saw the trains from the bedroom windows which I thought was very cool! Room was comfy and clean and there were a lot of services available right in the structure including fresh filtered water, a little waiting room with a bookcrossing shelf, laundry and breakfast that we didn’t (that you needed to pay for but that’s fair; we didn’t get breakfast simply because we are vegan and we weren’t sure if there would be good plant based options). Will go back if I ever come back to Marseille :)

The location was excellent if you need to be close to the train station. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had everything we needed in the small studio, including cooking facilities, a kettle and a filter coffee machine. As far as toiletries go, there was liquid soap. I didn't see a hairdryer, but I didn't ask reception for one either, so maybe there was one.

As we were right next to the station we could hear the train announcements, but we specifically wanted to stay as close to the station as possible so we didn't mind too much, particularly as the windows were reasonably soundproofed. We would be happy to stay at the hotel again.

This place is right next to the train station which is great if you have heavy luggage. The air con works really well and I appreciated that they had cold water to fill up your bottle in the lobby. The staff was all cordial. The towels and bedding were clean. Property generally well maintained in need of major refresh.

I've stayed at Adagios all over France and Switzerland and this is the only property that didn't have a hair dryer in the room. You had to go downstairs to check it out. Really? Not even the ones attached to bathroom wall, nothing. I don't know any woman who wants to go downstairs on daily basis after showering to get a hair dryer. The carpet in the room is what you'd expect at a car repair waiting area. Grimey. Not what you want to see in a hotel or even a motel.

Security Front Door of Hotel. Security Access to Room. Kitchenette well stocked with appliances and cutlery / plates. 5 minute walk from St Charles Station inc TGV. Supermarket also only 3 minutes further. TV was very good ( HDMI port + USB etc ) and Internet was good enough to stream movies etc without buffering, which was really important to us. Windows block out any street or train station noise.

Air conditioning in summer not up to scratch. Air con limited so on hot days rooms barely get cool. So maybe management should alter air con limits based on time of year - not just same all year. But air con OK just would be nice if a little more cooler in summer when Marseilles can get really hot.

Check in staff were very helpful. We arrived early and were facilitated as a room was ready early. As my french is very poor I was apprehensive as how well I would be able to communicate as my main language is English - but I needn't have worried. We were also accommodated on our final day as our flight was an evening flight and were able to securely leave our luggage at the hotel and collect it later.

The kitchen area is very small - but we managed and would not have expected much more for the price. We would stay there again.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The location is near the station to go anywhere & everywhere. The space is well divided and the beds have a 4-5cm topper, making it super comfortable. The kitchen and table have mostly everything you need. The windows are big and airy. Laundry is available! It's great for washing beach stuff quickly. There's s small playroom for kids and a baggage 🛅 locker service after check out time.

Some little things are necessary for improvement: pan (there were only pots), weighing scale at the reception just to check luggage weight before travelling.

I stayed one night since I had a late flight and was heading to a different city the next morning, but based on my transfer details, the location of this hotel was great. They have a great kitchen inside the apartment. at night it was completely silent, we had an inside garden view.

There is no threshold in the bathroom stall (water is all over the place after the shower) and they don't have a hairdryer

The room was very well-equipped: a small kitchen with kettle, microwave, stove, pots, cuttlery, etc. The bathroom was very modern. I thought initially it would be loud because it is very close to the train station but, even though I could hear some things every now and then, it was not as much as I had imagined.

The bed was a bit too hard for my taste. I missed some basics that are usually offered in hotels, like sugar and coffee. Unfortunately the room is not soundproof. The room doors are very heavy and tend to shut automatically and very loudly, so I heard a lot the other guests in the hall coming and going.

This was a great stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly (also fluent English speakers!) The facilities were all very clean and well-kept, we had everything we needed already within the room. We also enjoyed that fact that it was next to the train station - AND the trains were not noisy at all!

Only one small instance where lift wasn’t fully functioning. This wasn’t much of a hassle nor was it an issue.

Location, bear central railway/bus stations. Good public transport connections to the port/city center. The supermarket is nearby. Quite clearn hotel, Reasonably priced Complementary tea at the reception.

Too noisy at night due to the proximity of the railway station. Bedllight doesn't work. No additional bags for garbage provided.
