We really enjoyed our stay at the Sairee View Resort to the fullest. The host Andrew and his crew are enormously friendly and very supportive with every wish we had. We found it especially nice that Andrew took his time and talked to us for a while about diving and life in Thailand in general. Good to know: he is also a very experienced SCUBA diving coach. The rooms are clean, spacious enough for a short stay and the view from our room was breathtaking.

The pillows could be a little more fluffy and comfortable. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

Sairee View Resort is a beautiful place. The view is amazing, rooms are clean and comfortable, facilities are great & all organised really well. Unfortunately we didn’t read enough reviews and didn’t realise it was on a steep hill therefore we needed bikes which we weren’t willing to rent. Completely our fault, I’ve forgotten the guys name but a lovely Canadian guy welcomed us and explained thoroughly how everything worked. He offered to show us how to ride the bikes however we personally didn’t want to. Was the warmest welcome we’ve had since being in Thailand. 100% recommend this accommodation if you have a bike!

Beautiful views and helpful staff. They helped me with the scooter and with laundry and other questions I had throughout the stay. Would recommend for a couple or someone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sairee beach.

You NEED a scooter- you cannot get around without it. I learned on the island by the host who was patient and kind and made me feel confident enough to go out. Mostly no traffic around the hotel but there is a steep ascent and people walking in the middle of the street at night by Sairee beach. Otherwise doable if you’re confident on a scooter or on a bike and want to learn.

Loved the location. Out of town, stunning view, peace and quiet. Our room was well appointed. Bed was comfy and not hard as we find throughout Thailand. There is a big common patio both covered and then not which has the stunning views, flowers, birds, and breakfast (only meal service) starting at 8 am. Beer, pop, water and a few snacks are available anytime on the honour system. They rent scooters at a fair/competitive price. Much appreciated! It’s approximately 12-15 minutes to get to the main junction of Sairee Beach in a car or scooter. A walk would run you 25 minutes. There’s a big hill on your way back but it’s doable. Staff very helpful, friendly, attentive but not omnipresent. You feel taken care of and left to chill.

We stayed in the tent and we really enjoyed it. You have some privacy, the tent is very well adjusted (it has electricity, upper light, a fan, electric splitter and an outside table with 2 chairs) and there is a nice sea view. We also enjoyed the swimming pool during the hot days. The owner is veeery friendly and has good recommendations. Breakfast was just fine and in good price. It's not so close to the town, so it's more quiet and chilled.

One of the inflatable mattresses had less air and even after adding some it lost it - maybe worth checking for a leak. Also, it's a steep walk up, definitely better to rent a scooter when staying here.

Wonderful stay. The host was amazing and the atmosphere was so calm and collected around that hotel. The place is so underrated and the pictures do not do great justice! Definitely needs better pictures because it was beautiful! We did not expect much but it exceeded our ecpectations so much! The host gives you greatest advice about the island, and you can even rent bikes there. You can buy all the necessary stuff there like water, and snacks, if needed. The view is amazing and the pool is great! They even let us stay by the pool after checkout to wait for the transfeer for a few hours and hold onto our things.

The only thing you need to be aware of is the road up there is a bit tricky and out of date.

Very nice little resort with about 10 rooms, the facilities were great. It is located on a hill although you get an amazing sunset view and you are overlooking the bay. You can rent a scooter from the resort and it will make your time in Koh Tao so much more fun! Everywhere is reachable in 5-10 minutes on the scooter and there isn't too much traffic here compared to Samui, Krabi, Phuket. The managers are awesome, they will help you out with anything you need and even have a chat with you. Highly recommend! Would stay here again.

Nothing! If you are not comfortable riding a scooter, this isn't the place for you, unless you would like to go on some long walks. Koh Tao is a good place to learn how to ride a scooter, the streets are fairly quiet and everything is close. The main town is about a 2 minute ride from the hotel!

The view is spectacular especially if one is into constellation watching. The north end of the island is very quiet and less populated, in the night one can see even the smallest stars

The road up is difficult but manageable if you drive carefully and dont mess up

The hotel was really beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. The owner, Andrew, was kind and very helpful. However, we experienced two major issues during our stay. The motorbike we rented was very old, and twice the brakes failed, which was extremely dangerous for us. The other problem was the laundry service; unfortunately, they washed the colored clothes together with the whites, and all our white clothes turned yellow. This mistake ended up costing us a lot.

Stayed in the family room (Room 0). Room had both fan and AC. The AC worked well and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are set far back from the main road and very quiet. There was a well-equipped kitchen area with a fridge and a small gas range that worked well for cooking simple meals. The wifi was fast and reliable. Beautiful pool. The resort is a bit of a hike from Sairee Beach and up a steep hill so I would recommend renting a motorbike unless you are looking to get a lot of exercise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.
