The apartment is right next to the harbour. I wish we could have booked the one with the water view. It is very spacious, super clean and bright. It is about 10 to 15 mins walk to the Salamanca market, 15mins walk to Farmer Market, 25mins to Botanical Garden. The restaurants are very nearby. The staff was friendly and easier to contact them on the phone than the email. Parking was secure and cost only 10 dollars per night. The kitchen is very well equipped. They got a washing machine with a combined dryer.
The rubbish bins' pedals didn't work. Sometimes the toilets didn't flush properly. The pillows could have been more comfy. I didn't get a reply on the emails.

We have stayed at Sullivan Cove apartments previously and have always enjoyed the experience.They are well maintained. I chatted with the lady that does most of the cleaning and she is absolutely delightful a gracious who loves her work.
Went to pick up the key at reception and I was not happy with the way I was managed at reception. We had thought we're going to arrive late. I had phoned Sullivan Coveapartments reception in the morning to say that we were going to pick up the key around 2 PM. The receptionist was flustered and she said you were going to come in late. I then informed her that I had left a message on the answering machine first thing in the morning. A disappointing introduction to the reception. When we handed the keys back in there was a delightful young man he was so friendly and happy. I would like management to discuss with their staff how important their role is as a first contact for the business.

The apartment was very spacious and in a fabulous location next to Customs House near Salamanca Place. Full kitchen and plenty of cutlery etc with dishwashing detergent garbage bags etc all supplied. Bedrooms very comfortable. Lift access and easy care. Perfect. Remote check-in was easy and compendium in the room was detailed and easy to understand - everything was covered from how to work the coffee machine to air-con to garbage collection - plus best places to eat/groceries/chemist/bottlo. Loved the history and warehouse feel of the building - previously a flour mill.
Only thing on the downside was the windows were sealed shut but apparently fresh air is circulated into the apartment 12 hours a day. Plenty of noise from the street but ear plugs were provided and the central location of the apartment invites late night noise anyway.

Amazing location, lovely clean apartment well stocked to feel homely for a few days. Requested early check in and staff were lovely and very accommodating!
Walking from the elevator to the room is uninspiring - the journey involves walking past a horrible stagnant pool of water full of pond scum into a bland unfurnished (albeit tidy and well-lit) corridor. Air conditioning didn't reach the loft so it was too hot to sleep on warm evenings. Wifi was patchy and kept dropping out, forcing us to use our own personal hotspot.

The IXL apartments are centrally located so close to everything but quiet so you don't hear any night noise. They are absolutely huge with generous bedrooms and bathrooms and a huge kitchen with everything you could think of and more that you need including some complimentary coffee pods and cooking essentials like oil, salt and pepper. Our two toddlers had so much room to play inside and on the oversized balcony so even when we felt like just staying in there was so much space. Couldn't recommend this place more and will be back!
Really would have to struggle to answer this as this property was perfection... At a stretch there was one day early wake up at 630am with the laundry truck arriving in the courtyard below. But it did not return that early again in our 5 days. And there is no view to the water from the apartment we had... But could see the mountain!

The location was good as it was in a quiet neighborhood away from the main road. This meant that you would have no noise at night allowing you to have a peaceful rest. The was a patio behind the unit where you can have an outdoor bbq easily with a great view of the lake. The lake view from the living room is excellent and gives you as sense of peace and relaxation. The addition of a garage where you can drive in and access the property immediately made it easy for anyone who is driving. The large spacious kitchen coupled with cooking utensils made it easy to whip up a meal for a family. Will definitely book again.
The electricity trips if you use to many standing heaters. This can be an issue during winter. Only the toilet at level 1 has heating lamp, whereas the bathroom do not. Would be good to have the heating lamps as it can get quite cold during winter.

Property was very nicely nested near the main shopping centres and Woolworths was only a 10 minute walk away. Amenities were aplenty, liked that there was a dryer and washer, ironing board and iron. Just have to bring your own toothbrushes.
We unfortunataly came back on our last day to our apartment door open and our “do not disturb” sign on the floor. It was pretty distressing. Wanted to call the main office but the phone provided in the room wasn’t working as welll. In the end we decided to just leave it be since nothing was stolen. But the property should make the lock usable instead of just “for show”. This means there was only 1 latch to secure the door.

Its in a good location can walk to Salamanca markets and Mona ferries etc.. The king size beds were comfy and it was quiet. I didnt hear noise from nearby restaurants etc.. The kitchen had everything i needed.
I had booked a 2br apartment and from the photos of this apartment it showed views of the city. I thought id look out and see the boats and city from the apartment balcony. It said Sullivans apartments are different locations but i thought if im selecting an apartment it will show the correct view in the photos. I only had view of the alleyway behind the restaurants and a small view of the top of mt wellington. Also they need to update tv to a smart tv. Being apartment in the city most people would like to watch some netflix etc.. they had a dvd player but i dont think people would pack dvds these days. For the price paid ($400/ night) I think the room needs to feel like im staying in Tassie with some photographic artwork / decorate rooms bit more.

On edge of the Hobart CBD and only a short walk to the waterfront. And with a supermarket 10 minutes walk away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinners; very well appointed. Even had a wine rack!! Downstairs living area was very spacious & relaxing. Large bedrooms and comfy beds. Mostly loved the balcony area and the large bbq.
The washer/dryer was on it's last legs. Washed well but didn't dry at all. A few other small things - the battery in the clock was dead; the ashtray was missing and previous guests had used the balcony's garden to dispose of cigarette butts...and why weren't they seen & removed. Finding the building's wheelie bins took an exploration of the carpark.

- Fantastic location & neighbourhood, close to quality cafes & restaurants and shops. - Very homey, kitchen has everything you need from coffee machines, great tea selections to olive oil. - Walking distance to historic Arthur Circus - Loccitane toiletries - Quiet neighbourhood
-Living room sliding door (access to garden) was really hard to open/ close. Need a guy to push the door super hard. One night we didnt manage to close the door as it was not pushable. We hv mentioned this issue & hopefully will get sorted. - Exhaust fan in downstairs bathroom need cleanup for sure - Parking is available on site however it can be challenging sometimes to get your car in when the alley is full if cars.
