The location is fabulous - extremely central and within walking distance from all important sights. The rooms are large and spacious, and the B&B is beautifully decorated. Breakfast is pretty good - if you remember to ask for eggs and bacon (was not offered/ asked about by the staff). The Lavazza coffee at breakfast and in the rooms is good. Jenny was lovely and warm. Helped us with a cab booking for the airport and with packed breakfast

Having no staff in the evenings and until the next morning is odd. No access to even drinking water as the kitchen is locked and there is no one there. There was no drinking water in our room. We had to go down and buy water the first night and then request for it the next day. Hot breakfast also needed to be asked for. Some more fruit besides grapes at breakfast would be nice, as would be freshly squeezed orange juice. The room was cleaned but the bath mat in the toilet which got dirty and stained on day 1, never got changed.

Beautiful property, super clean, spacious, and friendly place, comfortable beds. The room had many towels, pillows, shower jels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, etc. The room has a small refrigerator with enough water bottles for us to use. The breakfast area was well decorated, and there were many varieties. I'm happy to see the staff coming and serving everything you need. They even make a cuppochino and egg omelet as per your request. The staff Jenny was so kind and sweet. She is such a humble person. She treated us like a family member. We went early at 9am, but our check-in was at 2 pm. The room was not ready. Otherwise, she could have allowed us. We were able to store our bags, and she offered us fresh cuppochino, crescent, etc. What else do you expect from a hotel? It's a family place. We met with the owner, Ms. Patrizia, and she was so humble. She gave us many suggestions. Like another family member. We were able to leave our bags after checkout. can keep going :)

We really liked the staff—everyone was helpful, pleasant, and always smiling. The room itself was quite spacious, with high ceilings and a large bathroom. Although the windows faced the street, it was very quiet at night and we didn’t hear a thing. The air conditioning worked perfectly as well. The room was nicely decorated and felt more like a home than a rental, which we really appreciated. The location was excellent—we were able to reach everything on foot. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was absolutely amazing. There were both sweet and savory options, along with coffee and tea. Everything was delicious, and we could tell the croissants were freshly baked in the morning 🫶🏻

I want to send a special thank you to our host Jenny, she made our stay very special, we felt like home. She was very attentive, kind and helpful. She accommodated and assisted with our special request for an early breakfast one morning for our tour. We had to leave by 7am and even though breakfast is at 8am she placed food in our room the day before, then she was there the next morning at 7am at the time of our departure for our tour offering hot latte coffee or expresso, now if that’s not special then I don’t know what is. Jenny my wife and I thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts, we will definitely recommend this place to friends and family whenever visiting Florence. Next time we plan Florence we will definitely stay here and hope you’re still there.

The location was superb ~ just moments away from wonderful sights. The welcome from Jenny was lovely. In this rustic home, the room spacious and bed was comfortable. It's a sweet B&B.

The shower in our room (Dante) was in need of repair. This was not a new issue as there was a temporary in place but not ideal and should be fixed. There was a lack of consistent hot water, which is inconvenient. Breakfast was provided, but quite basic, which was a little disappointing and a little contrary to reviews read . Some mornings, a lack of choices remained. Only on the third morning were we offered cooked dishes, but it was vague. Information on hot dishes/choices was not written anywhere. It would not take much, but some small improvements will go a long way. It's a lovely place, but in our opinion, it just needs some new life and investment in a few areas.

Great location, so close to Plaza Santa Croce, where there is an artisan/craft market. Lovely classic decor. Amenities. Breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Even though our room was on a side street, there was some street noise for this light sleeper; offer ear plugs or a white noise machine. Room was a little dark too; add more or brighter lights. The biggest complaint is it was hard to find the entrance. Give better arrival instructions such as 1) how to get into the building & open the building gate, 2) how to find the elevator, and 3) on which floor the accommodations are located.

Family home really cosy. Breakfast pretty good served in big table that you can see in pictures. Lovely staff always asking if we want another coffee or cappuccino or eggs. Pistachio croissants were awesome. Near main areas of city by a quick walk. Flexible to keep our bags after check-out. Basic amenities but don't need more. It is not a luxury hotel but for a bed& breakfast I give it a 9!

At hours of most request, the water was not so warm and has less pressure, but it was possible to take the bath anyway.

The location is perfect, people are so s,eet and helpful! The rooms are decorated with great taste and are super clean. The room is fully furnished, including coffee machine, AC, desk and a table ! The breakfast is really good and great value ! I highly recommend go there. Plus: there is only some 6 rooms so you feel welcome in as a gest and the experience is intimate with hosts.

The only point I would say is that a little sticker on the elevator would be great to say which floor the B&B is :)

We wanted a traditional small hotel in the centre of Florence and ADDB was just what we wanted. Tucked away on the 4th floor of a side street just around the corner from Santa Croce. Convenient check in times, lift access, pet friendly but no sign any pets had ever stayed there as so clean :)

Nothing really. My husband thought the room was a little warm overnight, but the air con was fully functioning. It was Florence in August so … 😅

The location of the property is great, right in the center, which was very convenient as we were traveling with two small children. Despite being centrally located, it was very quiet, and outside sounds didn't bother us at all. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of choices – I had the most delicious pistachio yogurt, and they serve decent coffee. The interior is exceptional; I walked into the main room and felt like I was in a museum, admiring all the details. The staff is very friendly and professional, always at hand. When we had a minor issue with the water in the evening, I texted the staff for help, and one of the employees came straight away to our room and resolved it.

The super soft memory mattress on the bed and the hard pillows were the only downside, as they didn't make for a comfortable sleep. When you try turning in the middle of the night, it takes time for the mattress to adjust to the new shape.
