Location on the harbour. We went for a long morning walk along the beach. Harbour Street has several really nice coffee shops for breakfast and lunch, pub for Dinner and ice cream shop.

TV didn’t work. The property is a former inn and is right on the street front. This means people walking by can stop to look in the downstairs windows (as we came back to find one small group of walkers doing). This was absolutely not a problem for us - we just kept our curtains closed - but, if this would bother you, just request a back or upstairs room. Clean towels were offered on day 2.

The location as very close to the beach and nice restaurants surrounding the area for food, the value for money really reasonable, close to the Irvine station. Was nice having a fridge to keep drinks cold. Felt safe with the key code locked door. Easy check in and instructions were made clear previous to checking in. Showers were great pressure too and very hot.

The noise from above was very loud, could even hear the toilets flushing and the showers being turned on. Which was a bit of an annoyance but didn't affect us too much. Every time someone left or entered the building out door slammed shut as we were one of the first rooms on the ground floor. But overall was a comfortable stay and would return if back in the area.

Great location, nice artwork outside which made for a nice welcome to the external stair entrance area. Nice clean bedding, great adjoining room with lovely view Of the water. Facilities were basic but great, compact shower with Scottish sea kelp shower and bath wash, tvs, hair dryer, teas and coffee making in the rooms. Nice decor, in keeping with the marina nautical style. Enjoyed our stay in a nice area with fab cafes and quirky places to visit. Right beside maritime museum too.

The noise from fellow guests late at night, woke both children and then again the same ignorant guests left early making lots of noise also and woke us again very early! Really inconsiderate of them in a shared space! Double bed was a bit hard and lumpy, took a while to get comfy to get off to sleep but nice bedding and pillows etc. Would be good to have a notice somewhere to remind people to be respectful of others and try and keep the noise down after 10pm and before 8am.

The location is perfect, I come from Irvine and was visiting Family. Walking distance to all amenities. The room was very clean and the facilities in the room were better than expected, with a fridge and a microwave. Having and iron and ironing board in the room was fantastic as well.

The bathroom...... the sink was very small especially when brushing teeth, the shower was slightly temperamental trying to get the correct temperature, there was also a leak under where the hose fits onto the shower box which sprayed on the floor when opening the shower door.

We have stayed here a good few times both as a couple and as a family with the kids and each time the rooms have been spotless. The decor is cute and fresh, the rooms have everything you would need for a short stay, beds are reasonably comfortable. Staff are great and very accommodating, house keepers made sure we had everything we needed like extra clean towels ECT. Very accommodating for a later check out which we appreciated. The location is great, really close to the beach. I have yet to be disappointed and would highly recommend for both couples and families.

The shower was a tad smaller than what I like but still doable, a lock on the toilet door would have been great too.

Great location to Irvin town centre, and local restaurants, pub and cafes, very clean and extremely comfortable bed which was my worry at first but I actually looked to see what the mattress brand was as we both slept like a baby! The pillows were bouncy and so was the duvet, there was everything you needed as well as a fridge! And the bathroom was spotless.

We stayed in room 1 and the only thing that was a bit frustrating being winter there’s no heating in the bathroom but the bedroom was boiling we had to leave the bathroom door open to let the heat from the bedroom warm it up otherwise a shower would have been uncomfortable but it wasn’t a huge issue the heat from the bedroom warmed it up with in about half hour.

Easy parking in car park opposite, even on a busy, sunny Sunday. Nice view from front windows. All clean, and spacious enough for two of us (we had front harbour-facing family room). Windows were clean, too! Though shower/WC was small, they worked well, and the sea kelp toiletries were good quality. Walking distance/short drive from shopping centre.

Access from rear was a little tricky with bags, up outdoor staircase, but instructions and entry code worked fine. Lack of bedside tables/storage - but adequate for one night stay.

Everything about this property was spot on. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Beds were comfy , bathroom was a bit tight in the family room but by no means anything to put you off. We took over most of the rooms as a family and we were all really pleased with the rooms. Great location. Lovely walk along to the beach one way and a walk to Irvine town centre the other. There are great places to eat nearby, too. Gro and Niche were really good for breakfast.

This is the second time I've stayed here which says a lot! The accomodation is in a great location overlooking the harbour. Few mi Utes walk to beach and plenty places to eat and drink on the doorstep. 10 mins walk into town centre. The room I was in was clean and very comfortable and nice ensuite. The room benefited from a fridge and microwave as wee as the usual tea and coffee facilities. I was with a friend who stayed in the room next door to me. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well. I will stay here again.

The motion sensor light in the lobby only stayed on for seconds so went off before I could even get my key in the lock. Had to keep moving to keep it on.

We stayed here for 2 nights & the value for money was fab. We stayed on the ground floor with a sea view, the room was clean & comfortable. The lady that was doing the housekeeping was so friendly & nothing was a problem. The location was great, we enjoyed eating out at Duncan's Bar & Bistro, GRO & The Ship inn. The ice cream parlour a short walk from the guest house was also a bit special, unfortunately I forget the name. Overall it was a great few days away & I hope to return again soon. Well done to all involved in the guest house, keep up the good work. 👍👏

Overall there is nothing I could fault. Would highly recommend.
