Great location, walking distance from Clifton. Nice bar and food. On street parking (free on weekends). Clean and nicely decorated, nice en suite bathroom and shower. Very pleasant room to hang out in. Loved the complimentary bottles of sparkling water..

We stayed 3 nights and the room was not cleaned during that time. We were bombarded with messages from booking.com during our stay! There was a heat wave during our stay, a fan would have been wonderful.

Convenience for Clifton Village. Friendly staff. Decent facilities. Good pub - I was worried about noise but it wasn't an issue.

The booking system was horrendous - easily booked but I needed 4 rooms which had to be done individually and I must have received more than 10 messages from Hopewell and Booking.com for each room so received in quadruplicate!!! My messages and inbox were inundated with Alma Taverns!

Excellent location - ensuite bathroom. Comfortable room.

Breakfast could perhaps have been a little bit better. There was a do-it-yourself breakfast bar but I seem to remember there was no toast or toaster. Door was a little bit clunky and instructions about what to do with one's key before leaving were vague.

Comfortable, better than average room size. Staff, via pub downstairs, open and welcoming. Quiet. Despite being above a pub..no noise. Good local pub with atmosphere. Clifton on your doorstep.

Not a problem for us. But two quite steep stairs to rooms. Could be a problem for some. Decor a bit tired..but don't think they tried to sell themselves any different.

The room was lovely, spacious, clean and stylish. Comfy bed.

I was quite worried on arrival at realising the room was above a pub. The stairs leading to the rooms were uncarpeted and gave a poor first impression. but I was very pleasantly surprised on entry to the room, which was stylish, spacious and clean.

Nicely decorated comfortable room. Free sparkling water. Nice bar downstairs with good food. Great location for Clifton village.

I liked everything, one thing would possibly be not being able to keep the window open it without holding it.

Only tea and coffee offered Would have been nice to have had some biscuits in the room

I have stayed a few times and their used to be muesli and yoghurt for breakfast but this time there wasn't

Comfortable bed, good en suite with good shower. Great staff very helpful.Had an excellent meal in the bar downstairs.

Entrance to the room, but having read the reviews I was forewarned

The staff were all lovely and super friendly! Food was great. Had lunch & dinner. Room was a great size and nice and clean.
