The staff at the hotel are friendly, informative and efficient, the hotel is well located. The room was spacious and clean , we had breakfast elsewhere so I can't comment on this. The barman deserves a special mention as his cocktails and conversation were great!

I ended up booking transfers from the airport and then to the station separately from the services offered by the hotel which although efficient, were significantly more expensive that arranging on any number of websites. The room although perfectly comfortable and well sized, with a good bathroom.. the decor, tv, fridge and other facilities are showing their age compared to similarly priced rooms elsewhere in Italy but also major tourist cities in other countries

Fantastic hotel just off the main drag of St Mark's Square and Rialto. The staff couldn't have been kinder, so helpful and friendly. Our room was palatial, high ceilings with painted beams. great aircon. We arrived by river taxi, it's really expensive but worth it for arriving at the hotels dock. On the way home we just took the public boat from Rialto. The location is perfect for dipping into the main tourist areas but quitet when you get back and want a rest.

The hotel is situated in a nice open, fairly quiet area, just away from the hustle and bustle, but within easy walking distance of the bridges, attractions and shops. It has an incredible view of the canal on one side. We had a very large room and bathroom, with all the resources you would need. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed the range of food on offer for the hotel breakfast on one morning. We'd certainly return!

Excellent hotel with lots of character and history, fabulous location within easy walking distance from all the landmark sites. Safe, friendly neighborhood. Bedroom looked out onto an amazing square! Friendly, helpful staff

Only gripe- there is a camera in the room which is the smoke alarm- it just feels really creepy- stayed in countless hotel rooms all over the world through the years- never seen anything like it (I'm sure it's all legit, but just felt a bit ominous!)

The hotel is situated in a pleasant location, directly in front of a large square with restaurants and adjacent to a small canal. The rooms are nice, and the personnel are very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good (€ 20 per person), but if you want an omelet or a cappuccino, it is extra. If you are traveling with luggage, ensure the hotel arranges for a water taxi to take you directly to the hotel's door.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. The concierge was knowledgeable and set up our transports for a worry-free stay. They even packed us a breakfast to take with us when we had a very early departure time. The hotel notified me of jewelry I left behind and shipped it to me in the US! Truly five star service at this lovely establishment. The accommodations are also beautiful and comfortable. Great location. A perfect Venetian experience.

It would be great to have an iron available in the room for international travelers on a budget. The wrinkles in clothing from the suitcase is a challenge. However, I never asked if one was available in the hotel so it may have been there and I did not know.

The check in process was so simple and friendly - the staff here is exceptional. They gave me an incredible room with a view of the piazza, and they had a lot of recommendations for where to go, how to make it happen, etc. I also had a glass of wine in the bar one evening and the bartender was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the drinks, the location, the trains, basically everything we discussed. I had a great American Breakfast on the way out, and they were so proactive in making sure I had everything I needed.

Superb in all aspects: quiet less busy location but close to walk to St Mark’s. Staff so helpful, friendly and attentive without being intrusive; anything we asked for they sorted immediately including transfer to the airport collected at the hotel entrance. The junior suite overlooking the canal and standing on the balcony was just perfect. Clean with lovely bathroom and copious hot water. One of the best stays we’ve had. Highly recommend staying in this ‘Palace’ hotel.

We liked the room overlooking the Campo, and the staff were great in giving us another room. the room overlooking the canal was very tired and cramped, and clearly needs updating and a refresh.

This Hotel seemed quite pricy, even for Venice. We didn't do breakfast sop I can't comment on that, but there are good options nearby.
