The room was generous in size. Location was good and convenient to what I needed. Quiet property just off the Nepean Highway. Close to shops and restaurants.

The parking spaces were a little tight. Rooms look a little dated with the furniture looking a little worn. Bathrooms were a little small and the showers had low faucets so you can't be too tall.

Loved the bed and ground floor access. Great proximity to public transport.

Minor maintenance issues- sink spout was wonky, door a little difficult to open, shower temperature control very sensitive.

The facility was in a state of being refurbished but the management/staff were working around that and offered the best service possible with the reception area relocated to a guest room. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We were allocated a refurbished room which was very good. We enjoyed the dining experience in their restaurant on our second night - the food was excellent and the service matched the food quality.

The restaurant was not open on our first night, albeit we were advised when booking the accommodation. It was hard to park on site as they had parking bays blocked off for tradesman.

My room was freshly renovated and was very clean and comfortable. Good parking. Friendly staff. walking distance to 2 train station and major shopping center - would be excellent for people relying on public transport.

Not really a problem for me, as i am an early riser, but a little loud with noise from (very) early morning trains - mostly due to my particular room being upstairs and direct unobstructed line of sight to a railway crossing where the trains always blast horns as they approach (the train line is a good distance away, but sound carries across open ground)- other rooms would have been fine I am sure.

The staff were excellent. They were very accomodating, allowing me an early check in without extra charge as well as catering to other requests that they did not have to. The breakfast buffet selection was also very good, as was the restaurant menu and food. I also liked the gym - I am currently training for a marathon. Not only is the treadmill of a high quality, but the gym also has a split system heating and cooling system, which made my treadmill runs the most comfortable ones I've ever had.

For this price point, there wasn't anything I experienced that I didn't like. Any of the things I wished for are available in accomodations that are more expensive. For this price point, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Not much in the way of weights and variety of gym equipment, but very reasonable for this price.

The room was small, and clearly newly fitted out. Products used created a good fit. A toaster and the usual crockery and cutlery was in the room. A microwave would've been helpful. A small, internal electrical board was placed on the side of the built-in wardrobe. It was very noisy, clicking away, until I realised I could remove the room card from the pouch at the door: then the noise stopped. Not good when trying to sleep. Bathroom was small, and the toilet was not given enough room between the shower and the wall: way too small, and awkward to sit on, exacerbated by the placement of the toilet roll holder. This meant bumping myself on the holder, and obtaining paper proved difficult. Once again due to the awkward use of the space - clearly in an attempt to save space. Please move the holder arm's length away on the same wall. There were smokers outside at various times in late evening, and early am. The buts were in the soil outside my room. Those things can be fixed. I'll definitely stay again.

Although this hotel isn’t in the CBD, it’s a good choice for a quieter, less crowded stay. It’s still conveniently close to restaurants, a supermarket, and a mall. Located along the highway, it’s very accessible if you have a car, and the hotel provides free parking. There’s also an on-site laundry room, as well as a swimming pool and gym. The landscaping is lovely, with roses decorating the front and vines climbing the building. The room is cleaned daily, which adds to the comfortable experience.

In the first two days, I had to wait over 10 minutes for warm water, which was quite inconvenient. When I reported this to the staff, they mentioned it was normal to wait 10-15 minutes due to the water circulation system and noted that no other guests had complained. I insisted that this was unusual and unacceptable for a guest to have to wait that long for warm water. Thankfully, the issue was resolved by the third day.

Overall pretty good - not being able to open the window for some fresh air & there's room to put in a little microwave & 2 plates / bowls / cutlery - just some basic set up for light meals/snacks -- there is restaurant on site with room service but the menu is higher end / boutique & pretty.expensive . There is potential to add a couple of simple classic affordable dishes

We were upgraded to a newly renovated two bedroom apartment, giving us plenty of room for a five day stay. A very well appointed apartment, with full kitchen including oven and dishwasher.

Unfortunately the Buckingham is currently a construction site as renovations progress throughout the complex, causing problems with dust and car parking. However these are of course temporary, and an excellent facility will result.

Conveniently located and large spacious rooms .. like the updated shower room! Good bed Not enough plates, bowls, cutlery for two people when we’d booked as a couple and it was advertised as a Deluxe QS room!!

Not always easy to get a Parking space close to our room … why aren’t the car spaces numbered so people know where they should park?
