Both the Prime Rib buffet and the Breakfast buffett were excellent. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Always a great place to go and relax, enjoy beautiful scenery and spend time with family and friends 🧡

There were not enough towels in the room, but the front desk was very accommodating and got what we needed quickly

The property itself was absolutely beautiful and amazing views. The rooms were very clean.

In our room, we could hear everything going on in the hallway and next door. It was pretty loud when this was our relaxing time of our 25th anniversary. The ladies in the restaurant seemed to be bothered having to get some regular creamer for the coffee stand in the lobby. Made us feel very uncomfortable and like we were a burden. Also, this was during the coffee hours that they serve coffee in the lobby. When we did eat at the restaurant, we had the breakfast buffet and the eggs were dry and cold. The potatoes had flavor, but were also dry and cold. As much as we spent for breakfast, it was horrible food.

We liked the garden with the waterfall area and trees and the balcony overlooking that area. We spent a good deal of time birdwatching from the balcony. It looks as though many native plants are growing there which we love, and this attracts birds. I also liked the hallway with the windows attaching the main lobby to the rooms. I found the historical display downstairs very interesting and informative. The grounds and the area are beautiful. We stopped at Twiggs Overlook.

The room was somewhat dated, and the view was out the back with two construction fences. Unfortunate because we might have used the patio more. We ate dinner in the restaurant to mixed reviews. It was quite expensive--we shared the mussels which were very good, and my husband liked his shrimp and grits. I found my she crab soup so salty and rich that I couldn't finish it, and also found the cheesecake too rich and just so-so. My husband liked his bread pudding.

It is out of the way. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Those doorman/valets, bless their hearts, they need raises. They were super friendly and went above and beyond to help me since I was limping so badly. I appreciate that the staff got a room for us that I could get in and out of. No stairs for me! We loved every minute otherwise.

We could hear every single sound from the room beside us and over us. We could hear the people going up and down the hall. I know it's an older facility. I didn't expect perfection, but surely there is a way to block the noise? The lighting in the rooms is very dark even with the lamps on at night. The bathroom lights, however, were more than adequate. We didn't eat there due to mixed recent reviews and honestly, prices were a bit outside our budget. There is a very nice restaurant about half a mile away that was superb so we ate there during our stay.

The resort is lovely! Very welcoming and inviting. The staff was so friendly and kind. Beth at the front desk was fantastic and an asset to your business! Linnae at the restaurant provided great service.

Disappointed that the menu (particularly breakfast) had no alternative options for those with dietary restrictions. Only port available, no turkey bacon or sausage, etc. Not only those with dietary restrictions are are affected, as there are many with religious restrictions on pork. I was surprised that there was no alternative in a restaurant that size that serves such a variety of people.

The staff did a great job ! The entire mountain vista was evident everywhere in the property ! Special thanks to Gene the baggage man and Christina the dining room hostess ! The property is a much desirable getaway !

The breakfast buffet was a disappointment..the eggs sit too long and dry out. The old fashion toaster needs to be replaced with the vertical rotating unit that toasts the bread in less than a minute ! The bowls for the grits had to be sought out instead of near the grits. Suggest offering a coffee carafe at each table to avoid repeated refills.

My scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly which I DON'T usually get in a motel. The breakfast bar offered everything imaginable as well as my son's omelet. Beds were delightfully comfortable and cozy which I LOVE. You also had decaf coffee. The gift store had lots of pretty things to buy but at my age of 87, I did not need anything more this time. Also enjoyed the swings and view of the mountains.

I cannot think of anything that could have been better except that my visit could have been longer and I could have been a little younger. I wish I was a golfer or might have been a horse rider.

The location is beautiful. We found a great coffee place nearby (The Fix) and enjoyed the guided horse tour at the stables very much.

Minor item: At first we got a room facing the parking lot. We asked to move and they moved us quickly with no problems to a room with a beautiful view closer to the pool. Unfortunately, the carpet there was somewhat wet. Possibly related to very heavy storms that night. We did not complain about the carpet to the stuff, so they didn't know and did not try to address it.

The whole property is lovely! The grounds are beautiful and the views are awesome. All the staff are so friendly! The breakfast buffet is so delicious. The pool area is clean and well maintained. Gloria, the employee who is in charge of that area came out to chat to us and to ask if there was anything we needed. We felt relaxed and rested when we left to return home.

We ate in the restaurant situated on the lower level, Brassies. The food was delicious. Bar staff very friendly. But they were short on many items, spirits, wine, martini glasses, and kept having to go upstairs to get said items.

The room was nice and quite. The bar and grill was nice, the food was good.

The breakfast bar, the food was not hot at all. I was there around 9 AM. The cook brought out fresh eggs and they were not hot at all. I didn't complain, just ate it. I didn't make reservations for Christmas dinner ahead of time, thinking since it was just one person it wouldn't be a problem. I called the dining hall, to make reservations around 12:15 for a 3 PM reservation. No one answered, I left a message and no one returned my call.
