The double room is a great size for two people with plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and it was a simple walk to the train station. The Junior Suite was WAY bigger than expected and was a great value for multiple people! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Not a fault of the hotel, but I would recommend avoiding going a couple blocks north of the hotel as there was more open drug use on the streets- Hotel Asahi was very safe though!

I'm actually from Thailand. I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. It s very near the central train station but in a quiet area. The hotel is clean and well equipped. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom with a shower room was new and very clean. The breakfast was so good with a variety of foods, western and Japanese food. All staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. Special thanks to a gentleman at the reception who helped me to drag a heavy luggage and bag to the train station to explain there that my bag with cash, passport, credit card and phone were stolen. My purchased train ticket was only on the. App. on my phone. With his help, I was allowed to get on the train. Otherwise, life would be more difficult in Germany as I had no money at that moment for a new train ticket. I really appreciate his kindness and help. I highly recommend the hotel.

The room was otherwise clean and not dusty. There was a coffee maker and coffee capsules available, as well as different types of tea. The reception was friendly and actually trying to help as much as they could but some things were just out of their control.

There was a huge stain on the ceiling (maybe also mold). Some of the decorative pillows had also stains on them. The walls were also here and there stained. There was a window between the bathroom and the living room which means that if someone was in the living room there was no privacy in the bathroom. I found that to be very disturbing. They really need to fix that. The TV was probably possessed, some channels were working on and off not idea why. When I asked the reception they didn't know what to do.

The breakfast buffet is great. The staff members are very friendly. The hotel is very close to the main station, easy to walk. In my room was even a small kitchen corner .

There's a smoking compartment in the lobby.... Even if the people smoke in this box, you can still smell the smoke (for me a nogo in a hotel, go outside for a smoke) The bedside lamps are not really working... the lampshades are too small (or the bulbs too big).

They allowed us to lock our bikes in their conference room which was locked. A really comfy room close to the lift. A very large, high quality hotel. We chose it because it was near to the railway station. A very helpful and friendly guy on reception. We didn't have time for breakfast but we had an excellent Italian meal nearby.

Reception staff at check in so amazing and so helpful so spoke very good English, breakfast thr best in Europe considering I have travelled a lot in the last 4 weeks from Africa to South Korea to Germany and Egypt I will highly rate their food as it’s intercontinental

Nothing everything was perfect

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. The location is very good, there are many restaurants around the hotel, and it is very close to the railway station and King's Avenue, which is a very good choice.

The bathroom in our room is too small.

1. At breakfast, I want to use Japanese masturd (KARASHI) for natto. Please make it available around natto. Currently only ginger (SHOGA) is prepared there and it is very misleading. (But, I am so grateful to ASAHI for this fantastic Japanese breakfast!!) 2. Water barrier for the bathroom shower is not large enough. It is very dificult to take a shower without wetting the floor outside of the bathtub.

Rooms are well-furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Extra points for the great pillows that are as good as they get. The breakfast was also very good: wide range of choices of good quality all the way till the end time.

The lobby area is small and not very inviting. The indoor (closed off, but indoor) smoking area is not of this day and age. The location was not quite as nice as anticipated (my lack of research)

Staff were exceptionally friendly. I wanted to check in early and usually theres a fee but they were incredibly kind and understood my situation.

The sauna and fitness room is a bit outdated and very uncomfortable but the rooms themselves and very comfortable.
