We as a family were there to attend my son's graduation ceremony at MSU. The distance from the University is very short from the hotel and the location is very prominent with Krogers and Meijers at walking distance. Even Burger king, PF chang's were at a walking distance too. The staff was very good and very helpful. I had to extend my stay due to flight cancellation and the staff, inspite of the hotel being fully booked managed to extend my stay somehow. The front desk staff were very charming, good to talk and very helpful too. I had lost my Government issued ID and upon checking with the reception they went all their way out to locate the same across the premise inside and outside. Luckily I remember having left that at a superstore from where I managed to get back. The rooms were neat and tidy. The inhouse laundry machine services were excellent. Would surely recommend and love to be there again on my next trip.

The building is almost new, so everything works as advertised.

You can only pay for your room a week at a time even though they except 2, 3 or more weeks booking through booking.com. Would be nice to just pay at once, be done with it considering I worked nights while there and they on staff the front desk from 8am to 3pm on the weekdays and 9am to 4pm on the weekends.

I liked how spacious the room was. The bed was very comfortable and the room had essential furniture. I also liked how close it was to so many things, shopping, restaurants, you name it. The front desk ladies were very helpful and the facilities were all pretty clean.

When I arrived, the front desk ladies told me that I could ask for a blow dryer or an iron because we didn't have those in our rooms. However, when I did try to reach the front desk, nobody answered. Also, I had to check out at 7 am and did not know that I only had to drop the room keys off at their machine and leave. There was nobody at the front desk at that time, so I wish this would have been mentioned at check in.

Good value, convenient location, spacious room

Wish there were a few basic supplies in the kitchenette (paper towels, small dish soap, disposable cutlery); the bathroom could use hand towels. Since I last stayed here, a sensor light was switched for a regular light in the bathroom which is jarring when you get up in the night to use the bathroom. Perhaps they can add a dimmer?

The staff were very accommodating and helpful when we had a small issue with the lock on the door. Not only did they come right away to fix the issue, they were very professional and very nice. Overall liked the room, very roomy, comfortable and clean. Pet friendly property which also was great to have since we are traveling with our two pups.

Staff great. Rooms were new and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Large refrigerator with freezer. Also had microwave and mini stove. Had free cookies.Good location.. near shopping and restaurants, however not on a busy road

We were aware that there was no breakfast provided, but disappointed that there was no coffee available in rooms or lobby. Pillows were a little soft for me which would have been ok if they had extra pillows. No hair dryer (note: this is an extended stay motel so I think the assumption is that you pack everything you need ).

The location is perfect, near groceries and public transportation. Woodspring is in a beautiful natural setting with a view of the Michigan woods. My room was clean & quiet. I liked the refrigerator, microwave and counter space for food preparation. I had a heating/cooling unit to control the temperature. TV had the stations I wanted.

I had to bring my hair dryer.

Property was in close proximity to our family visit. Close to shopping and necessities. Facility was well-maintained. Staff was friendly and responsive.. Great price for the value. We would stay again.

Property is an "extended stay" model. This worked well for us even though we only stayed 2 nights. The only minor snag was that the front desk staff had to be called to the front door when we checked in at 8:30 p.m.

Very large spacious room that had a great location. Virtual check out was a breeze!

The room smelled a bit like last nights dinner. Noisy hallway and banging on door in the middle of the night.

It’s clean and rooms are nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable.

No coffee maker and blow dryer in room. Without coffeemaker -coffee in lobby would have been great. Had to request extra soap for shower and toilet paper. Uber drivers had difficult time finding the location.
