I liked the location, and the hotel services via the concierge are really updated hospitality - they sorted out cash payments (for the affiliated airport van), and I also appreciate the Kunsthaus discount card! The hotel is so cute with art all around, and they really made an effort to talk about the hotel's history as a bed and breakfast from the past.

It's an old building, so the walls are quite thin - I hear my neighbours on the side and the room above. So bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper! But everything else is so cozy and picturesque. My room overlooks a courtyard, the bed is comfortable.

Perfect location right in the middle of everything. Easy walk to the bus and train station. It is impossible to get lost with all the clock and bell towers. The breakfast was exceptional. Absolutely the best stay. The hotel staff arranged the tours to Interlaken and Grindelwald for me. They also arranged airport transport. I loved this hotel.

All was excellent. I have nothing negative to say.

There was a very noisy bar nearby that had young people outside on the side street just down from our room. They were very noisy until at least 4 in the morning. That's when we left for the airport. I would recommend booking a room facing the front of the building, on the restaurant side.

This hotel was in the best place for traveling about and seeing the sites. The room was small but still roomie and perfect for me traveling alone. The bathroom had a large tub in it with a shower and plenty of space. The window opened, which was great since it was nice outside. The view looked out over some restaurants and a pharmacy. Breakfast was delicious and I was glad I included it with my room. It was fun to see all the people out and about. It felt very safe walking around at night by myself. I would recommend staying here if you’re ever in Zürich. I took the tram from the airport to the hotel and it dropped off very close and was easy to grab from the airport. It was also very reasonably priced. There is a kiosk near where you pick up the tram which is across the street from the airport arrivals pickup area, and you buy a ticket before you get on the tram based on the location where you are going. I looked that up on Apple Maps first. Enjoy Zurich, there is a lot to see and do!

Right in the heart of old town Zürich! Close proximity to nearest parking garage but able to park for 10-15 minutes on street while checking in. Very clean and staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant had good Swiss food right downstairs.

It got a little loud at night because of being so close to restaurants and bars in the square. Not their fault though. I wish the hotel had an agreement for a flat parking rate with the closest garage because it was EXTREMELY expensive to park for only 2 nights. The most expensive place so far. I was shocked, averaged about 50 per 24 hours.

The Adler Hotel is a historic building in the center of Old Town. The room was perfectly clean and the excellent mattress, crisp linens, and comforter made is possible to get a good sleep after an exhausting, long flight. There is an excellent restaurant on the property, “Swiss Chuchi,”and the kind staff helped me with a table when I did not have a reservation . (The restaurant fills fast each day because it is that good!) The breakfast offered a generous assortment of fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, bread and rolls. The restaurant does use a coffee machine instead of a freshly brewed coffee which I would have preferred.

No complaints at all. The reception staff and restaurant staff were all very warm and welcoming and very thorough in answering all questions regarding the sites, getting around the city, current special events, or the menu. The housekeeper was so thorough, attentive to details, and considerate of my schedule. It was lovely to encounter staff who took pride in their work and who were so sincere in helping guests have a nice time.

We celebrated our engagement here, They upgraded our room to a nicer and bigger room , which was amazing! They welcomed us with chocolates , paper hearts on the bed and champagne which was lovely :) Bottles of water/zero coke are free for guests in the guests room . A/C is good (not trivial to Switzerland)

Breakfast variety can be improved (not a single option for eggs rather than hard boiled eggs), selection was sufficent but not enough options to choose from. No coffee machine in the room - only a kettle set - which is still good , but not the standard you get for a good hotel. Overall - high value for money - we highly recommend this hotel :)

This is our second time staying at the Hotel Adler in Zurich. In our 11 years since our previous visit, they have done a remodel which was absolutely wonderful. Our room was very comfortable, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated with full wall paintings of local points in the city. Our rom had a sitting area, which gave us lots of room for our family to get together. It overlooked a quiet square and felt very private. The location is spectacular! It was an easy walk from the train station --- and was in the middle of many old town locations. The breakfast has many selections and was placed in the hotel's restaurant downstairs. The restaurant in the building had wonderful fondues and raclette - and staying at the hotel, it was easy to make reservations for the restaurant. The hotel provided free waters and sodas in the lounge at all times - a thoughtful gift from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Bouke at the front desk. We had the ability to book a driver through the front desk as well for our drive to the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Adler.

There was no concern at all about this hotel.

The Hotel Adler is in a convenient location to the main train station and is situated right in the old town Zurich. It is close to the river, lake, and popular sights in Zurich. The hotel included rooms recently renovated in 2024. Beds were comfortable- and bathrooms very clean and well outfitted. Some of their complimentary services included still and sparkling water and Coca Cola available to hotel guests, water in the room, cloth travel bags, and slippers. They also have a discount to the Kunsthaus Museum. They have postal stamps for sale and posted the mail for us. Their enormously popular fondue/raclette restaurant Chuchi is convenient and hotel guests can make reservations. They had transportation services to the airport - and arranged the service for us. Their breakfast buffet had some selection of foods, but could be expanded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a secure room for putting luggage there after check-out.

Encourage you to have a wider variety at breakfast

The location of the hotel is amazing! Very walkable to a lot of the main areas and all throughout old town. Also easy to hop on public transport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is simple but clean and nice and a great value for the price! Amazing restaurants surround you, and the restaurant in the hotel is one of the most famous fondue restaurants in the city. There was a long line out of the restaurant to get in both nights we were there, but as guests of the hotel, you get a guaranteed reservation and a separate entrance.

The cleaning solution they use in the lobby and halls has a strong odor that we didn't like but, the room smelled fine so it was not a big deal at all.
