Absolutely stunning the photos do not do this place justice, everywhere you look it’s immaculate! We stayed at another hotel in newby bridge on the river front which was extremely disappointing for 2 nights before coming here and this hotel blew our minds!! The quality or the place, the service, the owners which are lovely people so welcoming and nothing a problem, me and my GF of 20 years have travelled all over the county to some what we thought were special places but this is THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED!!! And that includes anything abroad, I cannot emphasise how good this hotel is, we had a sauna and a spa bath but next time we are getting a suite with a hot tub

Nothing not to like it’s and amazing place

The location was perfect, and the hotel was amazing. We actually had one of the cottages, which had its own access through it's own private yard. The cottage was both beautiful and cosy and very clean. The owners are wonderful,and can't do enough for you, and the staff match the owners goodwill and drive to make the guest stay a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone. Thankyou for a wonderful stay, and to the owners and staff for making us feel so well looked after.

Wow! I read some of the reviews on this accommodation and they were not exaggerating! When we arrived we also were offered a glass of Prosecco by the lovely Lucas who was most definitely the host with he most, exceptionally knowledgeable about the surrounding area and very attentive to our needs. He then showed us to our room (we booked the honey suite) which was stunning, so roomy, clean and the attention to detail with fantastic products and little treats Our suite had a two person hot tub , just off the bedroom and a fantastic bathroom with jacuzzi bath. There was also a small balcony with a bistro table for two for a little alfresco dining if you so wish. We had been out on our last full day and on our return they had made and decorated the bed with rose petals, a lovely touch! :)

The only (small thing) that we noticed was that the shower took a long time to heat up and also wasn’t particularly powerful. This certainly did not affect our stay.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable the room was excellent very clean spa room was excellent and was cleaned daily as was the towels the breakfast was excellent and hot as we had this in our room both mornings,great location between windermere and bowness 10 minutes walk all the staff we're great and very helpful a tad expensive but due to it being our anniversary it was worth it as the experience of having a hot tub and steam room in a suite and a TV room the owners greeted us on arrival with a worm welcome and a glass of champagne and a card wishing us a happy anniversary was a nice touch will definitely recommend for special treat.

The only negative I have about our stay was the water fountain in the bathroom was constantly running and loud we couldn’t hear the tele in the spa bath, I went and asked could it been turned off but they said there was no way of doing it I couldn’t sleep that night as even with the door shut I could still hear it and then when we went for breakfast another ember of staff asked why I didn’t turn it off 🫣 so it could be turned off Still had a good time just slightly disappointed because it could have been better

We stayed here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. On 2nd May. The room was amazing lovely and spacious with neutral colours. The hot tub was a big yes for us and the little bistro set on the balcony was lovely to just sit with a drink and look at the stars of an evening. The staff were so lovely and nothing was too much for them and breakfast the next morning was absolutely gorgeous.

Loved everything about our stay apart from the pillows on the bed. They were much too soft for me haha but other than that absolutely perfect!

Me.and my partner stayed for 2 nights for my birthday,the room was lovely and clean,they put a birthday card and some chocolates on the bed for me which i thought was really nice of them,the hot tub and spa bath we.loved,they catered for our every needs,Catherine would go above and beyond for us if we asked her for anything,she was very polite and chatty which we like,location was perfect,all in all the hotel was amazing,I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Loved nearly all parts of this stay. The staff, hot tub, bed, breakfast, location were all great. Coming back to a different towel design after room service each time was really fun. We had an extended stay as I had never been to Windemere and we hadn't been able to go on holiday for a few years at this point, and I felt like we had plenty to do (though we both enjoy walks) but with enough time to also properly relax in the spa room. Would definitely come back here again.

The guest Wi-Fi was pretty bad. meaning trying to stream anything on Youtube or Netflix (on their TV or our phones) was pretty frustrating. Also I had an online course which would have been impossible for me to attend if I hadn't asked the staff for help with the Wi-Fi. Although the rooms were soundproofed, the doors were kind of not, so a loud guest woke us up early in the morning by shouting in the hallway one of the nights. They were quickly told off though so it didn't disturb us for long. There was quite a bright green light on what I think was the fire escape light over the top of our door which was impossible to turn off at night or cover, so bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to light when sleeping.

the honey suite was absolutely gorgeous and would recommend to any couple looking for a few nights away!! the hot tub and spa bath were great. I bought rose petal which were placed on the bed on both days, I was expecting them just for our arrival but was really nice to see fresh rose petals on our second day after our room had been cleaned. every member of staff we encountered were very friendly and even willing to help us unload our luggage from the car

From walking through the door we were greeted by a lovely man on reception he was very chatty, he offered us a drink which was a nice touch. The bar area was lovely and cosy. He Took us straight to our room explained everything and left us too it. He give us info on where to go to watch the football. The room was clean spacious and everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub and steam room were perfect also the on suite shower room. We will definitely be returning.
