Wow! I read some of the reviews on this accommodation and they were not exaggerating! When we arrived we also were offered a glass of Prosecco by the lovely Lucas who was most definitely the host with he most, exceptionally knowledgeable about the surrounding area and very attentive to our needs. He then showed us to our room (we booked the honey suite) which was stunning, so roomy, clean and the attention to detail with fantastic products and little treats Our suite had a two person hot tub , just off the bedroom and a fantastic bathroom with jacuzzi bath. There was also a small balcony with a bistro table for two for a little alfresco dining if you so wish. We had been out on our last full day and on our return they had made and decorated the bed with rose petals, a lovely touch! :)

The only (small thing) that we noticed was that the shower took a long time to heat up and also wasn’t particularly powerful. This certainly did not affect our stay.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable the room was excellent very clean spa room was excellent and was cleaned daily as was the towels the breakfast was excellent and hot as we had this in our room both mornings,great location between windermere and bowness 10 minutes walk all the staff we're great and very helpful a tad expensive but due to it being our anniversary it was worth it as the experience of having a hot tub and steam room in a suite and a TV room the owners greeted us on arrival with a worm welcome and a glass of champagne and a card wishing us a happy anniversary was a nice touch will definitely recommend for special treat.

The only negative I have about our stay was the water fountain in the bathroom was constantly running and loud we couldn’t hear the tele in the spa bath, I went and asked could it been turned off but they said there was no way of doing it I couldn’t sleep that night as even with the door shut I could still hear it and then when we went for breakfast another ember of staff asked why I didn’t turn it off 🫣 so it could be turned off Still had a good time just slightly disappointed because it could have been better

Loved nearly all parts of this stay. The staff, hot tub, bed, breakfast, location were all great. Coming back to a different towel design after room service each time was really fun. We had an extended stay as I had never been to Windemere and we hadn't been able to go on holiday for a few years at this point, and I felt like we had plenty to do (though we both enjoy walks) but with enough time to also properly relax in the spa room. Would definitely come back here again.

The guest Wi-Fi was pretty bad. meaning trying to stream anything on Youtube or Netflix (on their TV or our phones) was pretty frustrating. Also I had an online course which would have been impossible for me to attend if I hadn't asked the staff for help with the Wi-Fi. Although the rooms were soundproofed, the doors were kind of not, so a loud guest woke us up early in the morning by shouting in the hallway one of the nights. They were quickly told off though so it didn't disturb us for long. There was quite a bright green light on what I think was the fire escape light over the top of our door which was impossible to turn off at night or cover, so bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to light when sleeping.

From walking through the door we were greeted by a lovely man on reception he was very chatty, he offered us a drink which was a nice touch. The bar area was lovely and cosy. He Took us straight to our room explained everything and left us too it. He give us info on where to go to watch the football. The room was clean spacious and everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub and steam room were perfect also the on suite shower room. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect stay for couples

This is a fantastic hotel. The facilities are exceptional, excellent location and the staff are first class.. Special mention to Lucas, a man of many talents, who goes above and beyond to ensure everything meets your needs. The rooms are perfect and the breakfast was very good. Parking on site was a bonus although both Windermere and Bowness are within walking distance. Having your own hot tub, steam room and jacuzzi bath in your room made this short stay special.

Overall, everything was perfect. The room was large enough, the supplies were sufficient, and the service staff were very kind and tried their best to meet all our needs during our stay. I have to mention Charlie, he is seriously the funniest person I have ever met in the UK. The hot tub should be the biggest feature of this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it for three whole days and were very satisfied. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is located in the middle of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and it is very convenient to walk to both towns. In any case, I will definitely recommend this hotel next time I come to the Lake District, or if my friends want to travel to the Lake District.

The Internet is not very good, especially in another suite outside the main building where we live behind us. The Internet is almost unavailable, which is a small pity. The breakfast portion is a little too big. We often want to try more different delicacies, but we can't.

It’s cosy, clean, friendly, the breakfast is good. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The hot tubs make a stay special especially for couples. It is situated between Bowness and Wndermere so it is within walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. Catherine is lovely and easy to talk to. All the staff are friendly and make your stay enjoyable.

It was an amazing stay here this week. Rooms & facilities lovely. What made it even better were the staff. A very special shout out to Catherine & Elina who made our stay! Catherine cooked some amazing food and provided a welcome atmosphere as did Elina who looked after our every need. Great location, we can not wait to book again. Highly recommend. Thank you.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay and the food was exceptional at breakfast and on the evenings. The room itself was beautiful and there were extra details added that just made it perfect. It was our first trip away together since before covid and it was magical. The location was brilliant as well since it was near bus routes, a short walk from the boats and 5 minutes away from the town centre. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone wanting a relaxing and romantic holiday.
