The staff at Hotel Wolf were very pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect as we walked everywhere that we couldn't get to by bus, and our favorite restaurants were downstairs from the hotel. The morning breakfast was perfect as it had everything we enjoyed before a day out. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have slept in in Europe during our 3-week vacation.

The room was in a corner, which was quaint, but my son is 6'6, so the bathroom/shower was a bit to navigate. This was our third place in Europe where the shower water gets everywhere because there wasn't a door, but I guess that is normal, but be aware you will get everything, even the toilet wet from the shower. This was just an FYI, the stay was wonderful!

Lovely quaint hotel within the Old Town of Salzburg. Walking distance to transportation and key site. Small establishment with a very attentive staff. Rooms were recently renovated, very clean with fine linens on the beds. Decor was modern with a touch of old time European. Breakfast was included, which was more than abundant included breads, pastries, meats, eggs, cereal, a typical German breakfast. We traveled as a family and voted that this was the best stay of our weeklong trip.

I was appalled by the state of the bathroom towels which were small, grey, thin, hard and just too old. More appropriate for a student flat. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything ! 8/10 for breakfast, mostly nice, but the pastries were mass produced somewhere else (? SPAR) quite a few days ago. Not a good look for an Austrian Hotel ?

Perfect place to stay in Salzburg... Best meals in restaurants right next to the hotel! Parking easy in a main carpark not too far away and a discount from the hotel if you pay them rather than feed the machine. Used a bus to go to the Zoo and did all the sites... We found that Austria and Salzburg is a wonderful place and will return!!

Horse carriage rides did not run every day possibly due to a big central main event being setup so we missed out...

The Hotel is located in the old town right in the middle of everything. Great location. I was traveling solo so the room I selected was a single room small but doable for the 1 night that I stayed towards the end of my long trip in Europe. The bed was very comfortable.The Breakfast buffet was delicious and the dining room decor was beautiful it felt as if you were dinning at your own house. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. I Highly recommend this hotel .

The parking outside town which is controlled by the city you have to have a code if you would like to enter the city. You can enter the old town drop your luggage then go back to park outside the old town .You get the code from the hotel. Just be aware that you will have to either haul your luggage to get to the hotel or take your car back to park outside the old town.

Excellent location within walking distance of all the attractions on both sides of the river. Fabulous breakfast every morning with a great selection of cold meats, cheeses, salads , breads etc plus a bottomless pot of excellent coffee. Staff were very helpful with advice on sights and places to see.

The towels in the bathroom were small, thin and worn . I would have liked a more luxurious fluffy towel to use after my shower.

This is a very nice, very clean and well appointed hotel in Central Salsburg. Perfect for the discerning customer who wants to have the best time in this wonderful city. The hotel is very clean and very tidy and is friendly and well run precisely because it is not part of one of those big horrible chains that we like to avoid at all costs!

The Location of Hotel Wolf is fantastic. This hotel in Salzberg is located next to Restaurants, Bars, and fantastic eateries in Old Town. The Staff at this hotel were lovely, even letting us get some breakfast before opening time because we were headed to Hallstatt early. The Breakfast buffet is amazing! Very glad we got to enjoy it the following morning.

No view to speak of from our room. Just a wall. When I use the "View" filter on my hotel search, I expect a little more.

Wolfgang the concerierge at the front desk was wonderful and was so helpful. He made us dinner reservations for 2 nights and was great with letting us know where to go and what to see.

The building was very old although it was slightly updated in the rooms. When we visited, it was at the end of April and was about 75 degrees but the air-conditioning did not work in the room.

Staff were really friendly and made it a joy to stay there, and I loved the charm of the place. Breakfast was great too, and in a really lovely setting. I bought the Salzburg card and it covered the 25 bus to Untersberg and the cable-car up to the top. I stopped off at Schloss Hellbrunn on the way back (which was also covered by the Salzburg card) so it was a great day-trip.
