Great hotel for travelling with kids as they offer a very nice indoor and outdoor playground. Good location for visiting Lucerne as the bus takes you there easily within 20 minutes. Big parking lot right at the hotel. Good food and friendly staff.

We selected the cheaper rooms but they do indeed look a bit old. Also they were a bit noisy until the traffic settled down around 23h00 and quite warm (unable to cool the room down even with an open window). Sadly the big train in the garden only runs on selected days per week, none of which fitted our schedule.

Location, surroundings, ease of access via public transport (Bus 46, 50 & 52), the complementary breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and decent amenities. This place is also excellent for families travelling with young children due to the vast array of kids activities they have.

Nothing in particular, just that the staff timings aren't great for night travellers since they don't work after 11pm, so plan arrival times accordingly.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was a great place for children with all the play areas. Breakfast was satisfactory. It was only a short drive from down town with easy access to the main roads.

Restaurant prices were quite high. For a budget minded traveler there was nothing on the menu. The room was not outfitted with a water kettle or a small refrigerator which left us having to eat at the restaurant or ordering coffee from the bar. For a family this was inconvenient.

Parking was easy and good, free for guests too. Location great to get into Luzern, easy by bus outside the hotel and use of guest card ticket free travel which reception gave us. Breakfast very good plenty of choice. Room was good, very clean, beds comfortable.

Rooms were fine, bathroom also ok with everything to make use of, however the rooms, furnishings, and the bathrooms do need updating, and modernizing, brightening up and the curtains lighter too, and the lighting also quite dim. It is just older, perfectly OK just needs a newer refurb. Didn't put us off and we would stay again. 🙂

The room was spacious and the personnel very helpful. A bus station for Lucerne is across the street and buses run until midnight to take you to Lucern. A visitor card with free public transport, valid for the bus is provided. There are several facilities and games to entertain children of all ages.

The room was at the attic and for one of the beds one had to pay attention to the ceiling when passing.

Easy access to the bus to town. Breakfast was great! Restaurant on property. Good gluten-free options. Convenient free parking. No air conditioning made it very hot in the room. Nice that they provided a fan.

It would have been nice to have a coffee/tea and small refrigerator in the room.

Very kind staff, offer us free parking as we arrived a little too early. They also gave us a free travel ticket which we can use to get on public transportation to the Lucerne city centre. Breakfast was also very nice although not too much selection.

Furniture is a little old but not a big issue.

Indoor and outdoor playground!! Definitely a paradise for children. Location is close to highway, easily reached by car. Large parking space. Only 20 minutes bus ride to Lucerne and the hotel provide tourist card for guests so we can take the bus for free.

Breakfast has not much choices.

The Location is very handy if you're travelling throughout different countries, good services for small children especially when travelling for long hours and need to stretch a bit...Comfy and clean rooms with nice wooden balcony. Exceptional service from the staff, very friendly and caring. A special thank you to Giuseppe and Stephanie who really helped me during my stay as I wasn't feeling very well and made sure I had an appropriate dinner & breakfast to suit my needs. I'll definitely recommend this hotel!

It is a bit pricy as everywhere else in Switzerland so it is to be expected. Not really a complaint as I enjoyed my stay 😊

Excellent place for Families with kids. So much entertainment for kids, that they wouldn't be able to try all. It has even railway. Good breakfst and good kitchen overall. Out of charge parking lot. When you arrive by car it's additional value. Very clean place with excellent corelation price-quality. Maybe it's pretty old place but worthy to see. If I come back to Lucern area I will visit it again.
