An airy and spacious unit which was pleasant to relax in after being in the car for some hours. Older style but with everything we needed and easy walking distance to the CBD. 2 beds (one double) and one single.

Not much. First impressions from the street aren't good, but once on the property we were pleased with our choice. Reception process was efficient and pleasant.

The staff were very friemdly & helpfull. The unit had everthing including a tv in the bedroom. The bed was firm but comfy, there was also plenty of parking outside front of the unit. The bonus was the owner had two cats & a dog which loved spending time with the guests.

There wasn't anything to dislike

The small property surrounded by beautiful hills and calm green spacious nature was soothing and relaxing .the rooms were good . Above all the property owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. The best thing to highlight is cleanliness in room, property common area was adding feather to the cap.

When we stayed it was probably one of the rainiest days of the year so we did experience leakage, though this may have also been due to the water cylinder… but otherwise, it was a perfect stay

It was fine to relax and unwind, very quiet and restful. It was like stepping back to the sixties, I enjoyed it. SOME PEOPLE WOULDN'T.

For most people it would not be modern enough. Just needs a make over.

The location was further out than we expected but was absolutely fine and we enjoyed the quiet and suburban setting. We loved it.

Everything was clean and modern except for the bathroom, could have more modern shower and extractor fan and more racks for clothes hanging.

It was a 10+. We had Unit 4, I bdrm unit. Absolutely clean, comfortable bed, nice big pillows, warm, spacious in both rooms,, heaps of power points close to the bed, cool having the large bed in the main room, to watch TV from, the kitchen area was lovely. The motel was very quiet and safe. Lovely hosts, who accommodated our late arrival. Was a lovely stay, after a long drive. Thank you Goldmine Motel.

Great location, nice and tidy, the room actually looked like it did in the photos. , friendly accommodating host

The only thing that was a downside was the steps. Because the weather was so horrible the decking and steps were quite slippery. Other than that the motel itself was wonderful

Very central and easy to get to the train station. Very friendly hotel owner made us feel very welcome

Would have been good to have a sink outside of the bathroom but we worked around it.

The staff was super helpful in accommodating us on short notice. They also ensured we were okay during our stay and gave us local tips about the area. Shops are located super close by within driving distance and Waihi Beach approx 10 minute drive. The room was clean and tidy upon arrival and spacious as well. Friendly staff. Would stay here again!
