Everything- the tents are SO cozy, beds and blankets were very comfortable, the facility provided everything we could‘ve needed (extra blankets, usb-c portable charger, towels, etc), beautiful views, main area was super cute and fun with lots of games and things to do, cute mt rushmore viewing area under the stars, super helpful and nice staff, safe from animals

the zipper to the tent is a little noisy when you need to go use the community bathroom in the middle of the night, but this can be avoided by booking the tent with a bathroom inside

While the location, and view of Mount Rushmore was mind boggling, the staff is what truly sets this location apart! The entire crew is not only very professional, and knowledgeable but genuinely good natured and kind! Our entire stay felt as if we had our own private staff! HIGHLY recommend Under Cover @ Mount Rushmore!

Matches were soggy because of the rain that area experienced over the previous weeks. Matches should be sealed in an airtight container.

We loved the way the tents were nestled among the trees and on multiple levels of the terrain. Lovely deck to view Mount Rushmore. Great staff, lots of options for complimentary beverages - infused water, regular water, coffee, hot chocolate and several teas. Very peaceful and relaxing!

The showers tended to get very hot. More options on the menu would be nice.

The staff was amazing! From checking in to checking out and every encounter in between! It was our anniversary and having such a fun welcoming made our stay even more special.

The only issue we had was we had no water most of the morning into early afternoon on our first stay. We understand that things happen…for the price we paid to have a tent with our own facilities-it was a little disappointing.

Our tent was literally right next to the entrance road, which was very noisy. We requested to move on second night and received a more remote location. Note to Under Cover: The rate for that "close to the road" tent should be slightly discounted and noted in the description so there are no surprises.

Great location just down the road from Rushmore. The fire pit and smores were a huge hit. The observation deck at night was magical and the security guard even brought out candy for the kids. The bed was super comfortable and the tent was clean and nice.

Location to Mt Rushmore and other sights. While we normally stay in a hotel, we tried something very different. The accommodations were clean and the food exceptional!

Not being campers, we were awakened in the night by the nocturnal wandering of a raccoon. But the staff and accommodations are top notch!

It was a very special experience to spend the night in this very comfortable campsite. The tent was well equipped, including lights and a clothes rack. Each tent has a small seating area. The paths are well maintained.

Unfortunately, our tent did not have a covered seating area in front of it. We could therefore not sit in front of the tent when it was raining. The shared bathroom was moderately clean and a lot of disposable crockery is used at meals, which no longer meets the sustainability standard.

Under Canvas Mount Rushmore is an incredible experience! The setting is fantastic, the accommodations are amazing, and the staff is excellent. We had a safari tent with three twin beds. The beds were very comfortable. We did not have a private bathroom, but it was not an issue. The shared bathrooms are private, and we never had too long of a wait. I am not a camper, and this was my first time sleeping in a tent. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I'm looking to stay at another Under Canvas location in the near future.
