The hotel and staff were phenomenal. Made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. They were so efficient making sure we were catered for no matter our needs. They also made our 3 year old feel so welcomed and the nightly hot chocolate/hot milk was a fantastic touch. He absolutely loved our stay. The location was so central we felt like we were basically staying in the cathedral but there was no outside noise whatsoever. The actual hotel itself was STUNNING, it really captured the history of the city with a touch of elegance. We couldn't fault our stay at all!

Size and condition of room was excellent Breakfast selection was fabulous However …….

Breakfast service was very poor. We placed order for cooked menu and it was given to the table next to us. After 20 minutes we chased again and it didn’t come. A further 10 minutes we chased again and then it arrived We also paid for hotel stay via the link you emailed me, however the site was not secure and my card got cloned and used for 17 transactions until the card provider marked it as fraudulent

Oh my goodness! This is the most beautiful hotel in Cologne Germany. It is steps away from cathedral and train station. You will walk back in time into the 1900s. Spend the extra money to stay here! It is worth it. The spa is simple and perfect. Steam room, gym, shower and serenity. You can actually drink what is in your hotel fridge because it is included in the price.

What a perfect location for visiting the Christmas Market! The location ia perfect. We were traveling with our large family. We had our two year old granddaughter with us. She was tired from a whole day of travel from the US and when she got to the room they was a lovely crib set up for her with games, her own set of slippers and a lovely stuffed animal just for her. Such a thoughtful and welcoming present! The staff were especially helpful for our entire stay and we will definitely return.

The entry time is 3 o'clock and this is annoying. - The room that was given to us is different from the pictures on the site and when the receptionist was informed that the room is different from the one booked, her reaction was very disturbing. - The adaptation was not cold. - The room has a simple sewer smell. - The area of the restaurant is small compared to the size and number of residents. - The room door key was not a traditional key card.

Great central location for Dom and Museums Staff friendly, especially reception and at dinner Bathroom was luxurious, art deco style, bathtub Breakfast and dinner were delicious Good to have check out until 1pm We were lucky to be able to check in early

Parking - no warning that hotel is in low emission zone so we would need to use P+R "Breakfast charge (2 people): €44" - discovered at check-in this cost is per person not total "Tea/Coffee" - no tea bags provided, luckily we brought our own "Free mininar" - only beer and soft drinks, it would have been nice to have Sekt Pillows were flat, needed to fold them over

Brilliant location. The shared communal areas were exquisite and plenty of seating. Pretty decoration. Room was large and comfy. Breakfast in the morning had a good selection and very tasty.

The bath tub was tired. The plug and surrounding area put me off having a bath. No plug socket by the bed for charging. Cables exposed under the television. And a thudding music sound until 1am without apology. Or plan to put other guests somewhere else if having an occasion downstairs.

Our room was not ready over and over again. We were able to check in at 16:00. We did get a voucher for a glass of champagne in the bar, but we just wanted to check in and go to the room. We were given a bathroom were you had to take a shower in a bathtub… The room we booked did not have this.

The staff know exactly what luxury is, i commend the staff and management for their service. The room was beautifully made, complimentary drinks were nice.

It is in a busy area and next to a mcdonalds, understandably so the people around can be questionable at times but the doormen do a great job in controlling the entrance

Everyone was so friendly when we arrived and during are stay. I loves you can have anything from the mini bar. I liked the food that was provided. I loved the honey comb on display. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the charm of the hotel especially the door bell.

I did not like the bathtub it was so high to get into to wash I was worried I would fall getting out.
