I enjoyed the overall vibe that the hotel had. The hotel's housekeeping did an excellent job every time. The hotel was as described. The location was the perfect spot in downtown which was accessible to any area in a short amount of time. The bed was large & firm. They had alot of amenities.

I wasn't a fan of the front desk clerks. It seemed as though they did not care about assisting us. They lacked the enthusiasm to help. However, they still answered questions asked and were still helpful. They weren't as welcoming as one would assume to put it short. There was a smell throughout the floor of old smoke that I wasn't too pleased with. I felt as if the mirror area/sink could use more lighting. It felt too dark in that area at times.

It is great for taking pictures. No other hotel like it. I am a male, however, I like taking pictures of my wife in beautiful settings and this place has it all. Highly recommended it. Read all the reviews, good and bad. Bad ones were from people expecting a hotel experience, this is for people who enjoy beauty and disregard minor accommodations. By the way, those accommodations are available upon request at the reception. Loved the hotel and its vintage vibe.

Only downside of Downright is paying for parking space....$50+ as a matter of fact. Besides that, wonderful hotel and great staff.

Pool - it is super fun and cute, cozy patio setting. Good DJs on DJ nights and still a family-friendly vibe even when there are loads of uni students and couples and later in the evening. Fun cocktails for me, yummy pizza and snacks for my kids. Rooms - they are cute and cozy and the colors are happy and retro. Very simple and functional but still warm and pretty spacious. Two Queen room was perfect for three. Location - if you like live music, bars, etc this is perfect since all of that is in walking distance. Close to the medical centers, in case that is why you are staying in Austin. Cheap uber ride to most places in the Austin area. Staff - by far the reason we kept coming back. Jordana and Cesar are stand-outs and the restaurant and cafe staff are all outstanding. Friendly, accommodating, and professional. You can tell the people working here generally like what they do (or they are great at pretending) and it translates into everyone being super friendly and helpful.

Staff was very helpful and kind.the interior was luxurious and the room furnishings were extremely comfortable and refreshing.location is near the city center and very convenient to almost anything your wanting to explore in Austin.

Unfortunately this location seems to be a busy spot for police action. Also we thought the pricing for the hotel parking garage was a little high for guests staying at the hotel and due to the difficulty of finding other means of parking and not knowing the area much we paid anyways.

Super fun spot for leisure or professional stay. Loved the art deco, pink pool house decor. Staff were lovely, new the area well for recommendations and all around a great time

Hotel lobby caffe was a rip off and toaster wasn’t working. Minor in the scheme of things but did feel this experience could be improved and make the hotel all round 9-10 with better product selection, pricing and helpful cafe staff. Big different from the hotel attention to detail which was awesome!

Valet- SUPER helpful Bartender- Went above and beyond when an "unusual" cocktail was requested Pool and Pool Staff- Super friendly, very helpful, love all the pool floats! LOVE the pool/lounge area Housekeeping- VERY clean rooms Overall- love the robes and the general VIBE of the hotel! Front Desk- very helpful at check-in/check-out

Front Desk- Waited quite awhile at desk at 0200 to resolve an issue- never was able to talk to anyone that night Housekeeping- Did not replenish water, coffee, cups. Threw my bamboo toothbrush away! I think she thought it was disposable ;-) Front desk- needs to be a little more knowledgeable about restaurants/activities within walking distance Rooms- Need more hooks in bathroom for towels; Need more furniture or luggage racks. No place to unpack clothes or even set an open suitcase! (There is one small cupboard with shelves and the metal rack.

The worker was super nice and helpful with any questions or help needed. They make you feel like you are taken care of. The place was clean, easy to access, and served a delicious breakfast.

The swimming club has the opportunity to improve. The connection doors between the rooms need voice isolation materials. These are not complaints or i don't like however i want to bring it up.

I love the pink color theme all through the hotel making it pretty. I liked that the gym is open 24 hours. I wish the pool was open till midnight but it closes at 10 pm. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The coffee shop by the lobby is good but a little expensive. The swim club restaurant needs more vegetarian options.

Better than what we expected! We stayed here to celebrate our friends bachelorette party and the place was perfect! Everything in this place is pink!!! The bar was super nice, bartenders are friendly and drinks were amazing. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. We requested a high floor with a view and we got it. Coffee shop is great too! Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Parking was a little expensive per night specially since you are already paying for the stay but nothing to call home about. The place was very cute, the vibes and aesthetics great.

the room was dark, this could be solved by opening up a window or smt but at night the room was very dim.
