Easy to check in, comfortable rooms with delicious Kusmi teas offered, spacious. Restaurant was better than anticipated but gets very booked up so reserve your table!

Although it is an airport hotel there is no shuttle to the airport, and it is too far to walk (realistically) - the tram goes from outside the door but if you don't speak French and are unfamiliar with the tram ticketing system it isn't easy to work out, or to tell which is the right direction, particularly if you have luggage.

We chose the hotel for its access to the nearby Tram line and the adjacent stop "Cadera". It's just two stops to Merignac Airport. Sadly the room smelt of the previous occupant's smoke with ash avidenced on the window sill. The Hippo Restaurant provided an excellent meal with charming staff....we;d stay there again.

It felt very welcoming, clean and homely. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. The location is excellent next to the airport if you have a late or early flight.

If there was some food available for latecomers. The restaurant was closed when I got there around 9pm however the staff recommended Uber eats which was great.

I was very surprised by the hotel, I loved all the sitting areas, the garden and the pool and the on-site restaurant. My kids enjoyed the garden area and the pool. Though there are lots of areas that require improvements. The location was really good. I like the reception area, the most.

The hotel could have been a bit cleaner, and there are a lot of areas that needs to be maintained, either cleaned properly or repaired. The house keeping team could improve on a few things, especially how they handle towels and bed linens etc.

Female receptionist who welcomed us on Sunday evening (08/06/25) was excellent. Very, very helpful. We can't praise her enough.

We would have liked the restaurant to be open a bit later as we arrived after Easyjet cancelled our plane at the last minute. Or at least some room service.

Beautiful property and great location, 2 stops by Tram from Bordeaux Airport.

Gym is really small, no water bottles in room. Breakfast was not included even after paying high price. Last day we purchased for 19 EUROS and trust me it’s not worth at all.

The staff were brilliant. The lady at reception who checked us in was amazing, so friendly, helpful and professional. Comfortable bed, nice shower, good breakfast.

Maybe keep the bar open a bit later for residents? 10pm is quite early to close.

Location right beside the No1 bus stop for travel into the centre of Bordeaux. Also, when the tram line to the airport is finished (?) it will run right by the hotel. Also handy for the airport. Helpful, friendly staff. Swimming pool a big bonus as are the very relaxing gardens.

The restaurant food and drink is slightly over-priced and service is included in the bill. We prefer to add service ourselves. Overall though, the quality of the food was OK. The exterior of the actual hotel building around the gardens is in much need of a clean - the paintwork is very dirty.

The staff is attentive and kind to your needs .

Bed mattresses and pillows are too soft . Other hotels have sturdier hard mattresses .

Room was great, staff were exceptionally friendly, breakfast was lovely and the gardens we lovely. Great for a stop off after a late flight before heading into the city for our accommodation
