The location of the property was great for our first visit to Caloundra. Very central, close walk to coffee, food, main shopping street. Wonderful view of the river & beach. Quick access to walking paths around the esplanade. We found the property quiet, the pool spa area lovely & clean. We were off peak so it was quiet in general. The apartment was very well equipped with all the comforts. Our bed was really comfy, pillows not great but bed was so comfy it was ok. We had a family member who lives a couple hours away stay a couple of nights with us. Having lived in Caloundra, he was really quite taken with the property & location. Parking was great, safely under the building keeping our rental car safe.

Not really anything much to say negatively. It would be great if some sachets of laundry detergent could be provided as we needed to buy a bag, which we left in the apartment.

Clean, spacious apartments with everything we needed. Handy walking distance to shops and beach. Friendly and helpful staff.

Street noise from buses and garbage trucks carries right into the apartment. This was only an issue in the early morning. There were large gaps between the roller blinds which meant lights from the Rumba resort shone into your bedroom and then reflected off the mirrored robes. This was quite annoying. Lighting was very dim except in the kitchen. I had chosen these apartments because it stated the pool was heated but I didn’t find it warm enough for a swim in May.

My wife and I stayed five nights in a second floor three-bedroom apartment in a terrific location in the centre of Caloundra, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants and one block away from Bulcock Beach. We stayed in apartment 201 which had two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom with 2 single beds. The master bedroom had a TV, ensuite and walk in robe and there was a family bathroom. There was a full laundry washing machine and dryer, and a combined kitchen/dining/living room area with flat screen TV. The kitchen was very well-equipped with glassware, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, fridge freezer, kettle, electric cooktop, microwave, oven, toaster, and dishwasher. We really loved the feel of the apartment – it was bright, modern and well designed with high quality furnishings and fittings. The complex has two pools – which we didn’t visit because it was too cold. The underground parking garage was very secure with access controlled by key fobs. If you have mobility issues, there are two lifts with access to all floors. This is a terrific option for a central Caloundra stay!

My trip to Caloundra was very personal as I was revisiting for the first time since my wife died last October. We always visited Caloundra when we were in Australia. The most important aspect for me was the view and the Waterford did not disappoint. The apartment was spacious enough for me to invite friends to stay so we could share memories of my wife. The location is absolutely central to everything. it was an emotional visit for me and essential that I was in an apartment my wife would have loved to stay in, it ticked that boxed and more.

The apartment had been recently renovated so there was a "fresh paint" smell as soon as you walked in but you got used to that and it will fade over time. The door and window frames had not been renewed nor had some of the bathroom fittings which was a shame.

Location was great for our purposes of the dance comp venue close by. The kids loved the heated pool which was very clean. Very spacious apartment with a lovely ocean view from the balcony. Area was quiet at night and great for our small family. The owner Tim was great and so helpful. We called to check how we could get beach towels just after we arrived. He had just headed out, but so kindly walked back to the apartment reception to provide us the towels.

When we initially arrived there was an unpleasant smell coming from both bathrooms and seemed to be like stale water. The smell went away after a couple days from the ensuite bathroom but lingered a bit in the 2nd bathroom but we learned to live with it as we didn’t really use the 2nd bathroom much. Carpet looked worn but very tidy overall with plenty of space

The Manager and staff were friendly and efficient. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and the building was in a great location between Bulcock Street (Caloundra main street) and the Beach/boardwalk around to Kings Beach and beyond. Parking was provided in the basement levels, and our desingated parking spot easily accommodated a 4wd vehicle. Although on a lower level, we still had water views from the balcony.

We were lucky enough to get the 11th floor. Outstanding views, the decor was beautiful and so much thought has gone into the needs of the guest. I could not fault anything. We have stayed here before and we will definitely be coming back. Tim and all the staff are not only so friendly they are also so helpful. Amazing location.

Nothing everything was perfect.

Loved the view from the deck, overlooking the beautiful beach, Shipping route to brisbane and of course, the glasshouse mountains. Rooms were spacious and clean, and each room had its own sliding doors to a balcony. Full kitchen with useful utensils, full sized fridge and oven. Wonderful space for quality time with the family.

The spa pump button is away from the pool and works on a timer. You need to get out every 10-15 minutes to restart it. It's a bit of a bother on the cool, windy nights we had. The dryer tended to leave the clothes damp even after a couple hours of hot drying time. We just used the washing wrack to air them out before wearing or packing away.

Everything was perfect for what we needed. Close to everything either walking distance or short drive. Friendly helpful staff. Tim was a breath of fresh air, and gave some great recommendations. Great amenities 🙂 will definitely be back again.
