We got a very specious room with a see view and just above the water. Super nice and clean. Perfect location of the hotel to explore the town by foot (as everything is just a walking distance - promenade, sights, cafes and restaurants, shops), as well as the best starting point for one-day journeys. There is a free carpark at the hotel, which was perfect. The breakfast was nothing special, but good. And both nights we stayed there, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and everything we tried was so good. We liked our stay at Waters Edge hotel so very much that we plan to return one day for another stay.

There might have been a better choice for breakfast. It's fine for a one-night stay, but if you plan to stay longer, it would be good to have some more options to chose from.

Loved the location. Overlooking the harbour, 2 mins walk to everything Cobh has to offer. The room was very comfortable. I was in room 16 and had 2 windows, one overlooking the harbour and the other looking towards the town. Best of both worlds. Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Staff were so helpful. Free parking under the hotel. Train station with frequent trains to Cork City almost next door.

Just missing a cosy bar. You could have a drink in the restaurant, but not the same as having a separate bar with comfy seating to chill and socialise after a busy day sightseeing.

I am just back from a 2 night stay with my 2 sons. The location is excellent, a short walk from the train station and a short stroll from everything Cobh has to offer. We had a seaview room which was beautiful. The staff from front of house to night porter were so friendly and accommodating. Cleaning staff all so friendly and big hellos from anyone we met. Lovely breakfast watching the cruise liners come in. Breakfast staff very attentive and arranged more food to be cooked of anything running low as we attended breakfast just before closing time.The place felt like a home away from home for our stay. Boys said they had the best night sleep of any hotel we have been in and zero noise at night.

Nothing, only having to leave to go home.

This property has a fabulous location and is right on the water front. The beds are comfortable and room was spacious! Free parking ( which parking is tough , so appreciated) the restaurant was delicious! We enjoyed both complementary breakfast and had a delicious dinner one night!! I would highly recommend this Hotel.

This was not their fault, all of Ireland was having a heat wave with lots of sunshine, room was very hot!! They did how ever supply a fan but it was just a very tough recovery…

The location was fabulous, central to everything and the train station was right next door to the hotel. .Our room was so spacious and the view was amazing and to top it all the cruise ships were docked right outside our window. Food was very good too and staff were so friendly and very helpful.. That was my 4th time there this year and can't wait to stay there again.. Would also like to say thank you to the housekeeping staff who made sure we had everything we needed for our stay...Receptionist were outstanding too. 😊

Receptionist I met was very nice and helpfull. The guy serving breakfast was very nice & had a lovely manner the girl on the last mornings was nice too. Breakfast the 3rd morning of my stay was really nice as served from the kitchen not from the heated self service. Brown bread was good as was the fruit salad The bedroom was Huge but the view was lovely

Scrambled eggs from self-service. Didn't like that it was self service at breakfast. While having a drink with my cousin in the restaurant/ bar the manager was around he served drinks and then he opened the door I had to ask him to close it.It was very cold Restaurant could be a little warmer

The hotel is located PERFECTLY! Easily walked to the little areas around us. It was clean, quiet, and overall a great stay. It was our last hotel of the trip and was a great one to end it on. Parking was easy as well as the check-in process. The breakfast the next morning was good too with lots of options, primarily an Irish breakfast spread. Not to mention the beautiful view! The room was spacious and clean with a super comfortable bed, and a lovely view no matter what side of the hotel you stay in.

No elevators, that I know of. Granted it's not a huge hotel, so we only had to climb one flight of stairs with our luggage. It wasn't bad at all! Just gave us a bit more exercise (which, let's be honest, we could all use).

The room was much bigger than I was expecting. The beds were really comfortable. The shower was a really indulgent waterfall shower. The staff were really friendly & accommodating. The views of the harbour were wonderful.

The bedroom & dining room were too hot. Even with the window on in my bedroom & no heating on it was too hot. There is not enough allocated parking under the hotel all the rooms, although on street parking was free 18:00 - 09:00

Breakfast was excellent & lovely to get freshly brewed coffee all the time. Our room had a fabulous view, literally right at the waters edge. Dining area beautifully situated & food was excellent, apart from the burgers.

Room service could have been better, took a long time to get bed made up and not a lot attention in the bathroom or cleaning cups used for tea & coffee which was a pity because everything else was so good.

Loved being right on the harbor! Our rooms windows (we had interconnecting rooms) opened right over the water! Close to main attractions, center

The continental breakfast area was meh. Not a huge selection. The toaster was set to a specific setting by staff, with a sign to not change setting. I’m not sure why, considering this setting was burning all the toast, and everyone was leaving the toast, because it only burned it.
