Very friendly staff room was spacious and had a fridge and a microwave and coffee machine. The heater worked well and the service was good too. Also convenient with the mall and supermarket across the road

I kept seeing small flies in my sink. And l paid wayyy too much via Booking.com. Rates were much better if l had booked directly or even upon arriving.

Love that there was a jacuzzi tub in the room, located across the street from good shopping center, and close to everything we wanted to do. Minutes to the beaches. Just about 10 minutes from Carmel, but WAAAAAY more affordable. Manager was such a help, full of the kind of information a visitor would want to know, such as everything closes around 9pm then the only open store is the Safeway in Carmel.

I think the shower/tub could definitely have been cleaner. Pro-tip: consider what somebody IN the tub can see. The light switches for shower and toilet areas were a little confusing.

I liked that the staff offered assistance on how to contact them if we needed anything, I liked the location of the property, it was located right across the street from The Del Monte Shopping center.

I can't say there was much that I didn't like. My only complaint is that it appears and advertises a pool, when the pool no longer exist. It looks like it was covered/replaced with a patio area. Nonetheless, the patio area is decent.

This is a solid value in the city of Monterey. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions about things to do and places to visit. They suggested using an Uber to get around town to avoid parking hassles which was a great idea, thank you!

Nothing was a negative for our stay here.

We absolutely love Dan and his family. We've stayed here a couple times and it is our go to every time we go to Monterey, he is kind and accommodating, he always makes sure that we are comfortable and that we get the same room.

The only thing is, they don't serve breakfast. But this does not keep us from staying here

Clean, great location for our purposes. Easy access to downtown minus the congestion. Just across the street from Whole Foods and close to a CCS charger for our electric vehicle. The inn keeper (Dan the Man) was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks Dan! 👍🏻

First time in a motel, was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and clean it was. Bed was comfortable and had supermarket across the highway. Great value for money.

Perhaps better soundproofing for the windows as could hear some traffic as on the main highway but that was expected due to location; it wasn't bad and didn't spoil my nights sleep but I put my ear plugs in.

The service was perfect. Den and his team were here to accomodate and help for any request that we had. I would definitely come back there next time. The proterty is well place, near a shopping center.

Room was recently remodeled, clean, quiet, walking distance to mall, close to Cannery Row. Staff cheerfully accommodated request request to extend checkout time by 1 hour with no extra charge.

We could hear the people in the room above us walking normally when they arrived and left the room.

The night staff was friendly. The room seemed mostly clean. The floors are wooden style floors, which means less likely to have bugs. The bed was quite comfortable. I slept very sound and was rested. The Inn was across the street from a mall, where we ate at Islands restaraunt. The Inn is also across from a park like area where there is a walkway instead of a sidewalk, for a relaxing stroll. The beds were comfortable

The parking here sucks! We'll for me at least..I have a 1-ton truck, which this small lot is NOT conducive for the size of my truck. Luckily I was able to back into the corner spot to park, next to the handicap spot. But turning that beast could've been very challenging, if not impossible, if the lot was full of cars. Getting to this place was not as easy as you think. Only 1 way in. The floors were dirty, as if they don't sweep or mop. The TV was not tuned for any channels. We had the King "suite", which is significantly smaller than the double queen, where my kids stayed in. I wish the Inn would've had some sort of breakfast. With the amount of money you pay for the room you'd think at least a continental something or another would show some appreciation towards the guests.
