A superb hotel on the river front, the room was very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was outstanding, and enjoyed on a lovely terrace looking to the river, well it would be if there wasn't a bit canal boat sitting there, and views up to the fortress. It was a reasonably comfortable walk from the train station, except that gps took us to the back entrance which we couldn't get into for quite a while.

Funnily enough the bed was a bit too big, and a tad hard for my liking, but not enough to stop me returning to this hotel again, we very much enjoyed it here

Everything functioned.well - adequate lighting, good AC, rain shower that works, more than one chair, safety door lock, firm mattress, feather pillows, good linens and love the twin comforters on king.bed, blackout drapes, adequate closet storage area. Closeby dining. Walkable to old town. Excellent breakfast - mostly comtinental with good breads/rolls and ooohh the jams! Plus excellent quality.cold.neats along with baked eggs and.hot sausages, great yogurt variety.

No luggage rack. No USB ports - zero! Bring your EU adapters!

Great location in the old town, facing a docking point of the cruise ships on the Danube. Our suite (404) with its spacious terrace, dincl an excellent hot tub, offered a beautiful view over the roofs of the town and up to the Festung on the other river bank. Very kind server at the breakfast. Perfect that the hotel offered parking right at its entrance.

The elevator was small for the size of the hotel.

Parking: we parked right in front of the hotel (20 euros). If you want to know the city center, you can walk everywhere. Check-in: it was easy and fast Room: was a very nice size, the bathroom is not big but the shower is great, loved it. The bed is comfortable and as we are allergic to feathers they provided us with hypoallergenic pillows. Breakfast: really nice, so many options, and the staff was really polite

We enjoyed breakfast with good choice of local and home-made products and we appreciated easy communication and friendly reception by the staff. The room was good size, well kept and comfortable, with modern facilities in the bathroom and a well stocked minibar. Easy reachable location near the city center and views over the Donau are a plus. Cozy sitting room near the reception was very inviting and the hotel bar, though not big in choice, looked interesting.

If we had to think of something: the bathroom is on the small side (though still very comfortable) and parking was a bit further from the hotel (really not too far so this should not be an issue). All the positives come at a cost, but in the times of inflation it is increasingly difficult to find good value anywhere. We would come again if we can afford it.

Very good sized room, with glimpse of river. 3 comfortable armchairs - generally relaxing, attractive feel. Short walk to old town and pleasant walk along the riverside in both directions. Extremely good breakfast - very wide choice of bread, pastries, cereals, fruits, salad items, cold meats and cheeses as well as cooked offerings. Interesting range of what seemed like home made preserves. Very friendly and helpful breakfast staff. Sekt on offer if you were in the mood for a celebration breakfast. Probably the best breakfast of the 7 hotels we stayed at on this trip to Germany and Austria

Bathroom was modern and clean, but very small. No tissues in the dispenser - and none available to replenish it (not exactly a major problem!)

Very nice, clean rooms, good parking very close to hotel and dogs allowed and very welcomed. The location is great, right next to everything you need. Breakfast very good too

It would be nice to be able to take the dog in to the breakfast area, even a corner, but other than that, we enjoyed it all

Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke very good English; our room was immaculate with stylish contemporary furniture and a clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the location just across from the river and close to everything in Passau made it perfect for our short stay.

Smokers outside on the patio at breakfast time next to the door which opened on to the dining room - smoke came into the room while we were eating.

Breakfast was okay. Typically German with lots of sausage, meat, cheese and bread. Not much fruit. The location was beautiful. Although it is in old town, so the highest part of town, the hotel was on the river so you could walk along the flat of the river to get to the other parts of town.

Location and friendly staff. Great breakfast Comfortable room.

Still some maintenance after recent flood of Danuve River. No doubt will get on top of this matter. Small number of stairs from street level to reception were a challenge to us but received some assistance
