It wasn't my first stay here but I had to go back to Newcastle and I already knew I would stay here again. Cheap but comfortable and plenty of space in the rooms. The common area was nice too. I was lucky as it wasn't as busy and generally everyone staying in my dorm was respectful.
It was too hot in the room and the window was very heavy and I couldn't open it. Some minor wifi problems and the connection was bad in the common room. Also you could hear people's footsteps on the corridor.

This hostel is great one thing I did like was how handy it was from the train station and the kitchen was nice and handy for my friend to make her breakfast in the morning and it was really close to the nightlife.Everything was great to be honest deffo will be back in the future. Also have to say a great thanks to the staff for getting my suitcase open again for me as I locked my keys inside
The only bad thing I can say is the bed was comfy and the duvet cover but I will be bringing my own pillow when I stop again just cause the hostel pillows are really hard there so hard I had to put my t shirt under my head but other than that everything was good.

Location superb 5 minutes walk from Newcastle Central Station on main street. Friendly staff. Warm female dorm. Clean beds and linen and comfortable deep mattress. Fully equipped kitchen with help yourself tea & coffee.
No individual lights or dorm beds so main light had to be put on by individuals in order to see so disturbing for others.. Sash window in dorm was not sashed and just falls so was held open by someone's rolled up jumper. Dangerous as heavy if falls. Needs repair Food allowed in dorms so smelled as left on window ledges/ mantelpiece Metal Lockers battered and broken Slightly scruffy dorm decor. Lingering food smells in corridors. People laying around on floor of common rooms so gave the place a bit of a,homeless shelter vibe. Loos and showers quite a long way from female dorm.

The location was conveniently situated for my daily commute to the train station and university. The constant presence of the 24-hour reception provided a sense of security and convenience. Anthony demonstrated exceptional customer service and possessed an impressive knowledge of the city, which he shared with me in a welcoming and informative manner.
The Wi-Fi coverage in the hostel was inadequate, resulting in poor connectivity in certain areas. This is a crucial aspect that could significantly enhance the guest experience. Otherwise, the stay was satisfactory.

1.Clean bedsheets, comfortable bed.Female dorm on the 1st floor.Even though my luggage was heavy,l was offered help by one of the staffs. 2.Room is spacious, not too cramped with beds. 3.Loved the kitchen. Its fully equipped.Fridge is clean and not over stuffed .Free bread, coffee, tea provided.Absolutely amazing. 4.Bathroom is another factor l liked in my stay. Its clean. The shower facilities have two doors .One to shower, and then you step out to change in a small space provided which is another fab idea. 5.Hostel is 5 mins walk from the train station. 6.Lots of shops, restaurants around. 7.Initially the WiFi takes time to connect in laptop.
Nothing.It was worth the money.

Everything is very well organised and clean in the hostel. Anthony and Carl are full of enthusiasm and work hard to maintain the property well. They are always reliable and friendly, anytime to any guest. The black hole and the inflation from the previous government are signs that they and others receptionists deserve pay rise and additional benefits, e.g. bottle of whiskey at the end of months; as they work very hard every week. My stay was more than purrrr-fect, meow!

It was the perfect location. 2 min walk from the train station. Everything is within walking distance. The staff were really friendly and Helpful. The guy at the reception (Matt) was really understanding and placed me in a different room than the one I had booked upon my request to ensure the safety of solo female travellers.
I think the only thing that I didn’t like too much was that the bathroom was a bit far for me. I would have expected a bathroom attached to the room but nevamind. It was okay to deal with. The sockets were at one place rather than being close to each bed. This is not always the case everywhere so nothing major.

For a hostel it was very clean, and the location in central Newcastle was absolutely ideal for our purpose. Comfortable enough to sleep, and for £24 a night it was better than we paid for to be honest. Toilet was a fair way from the room, but that's to be expected
Checking in was a bit weird, they required a £30 safety deposit from each person in cash before giving the keys. I completely understand why they'd want a deposit, but we all had to run to an ATM before they'd let us in the room when I offered to put the whole thing on my card. Apart from that though it was great

Perfect location. Very warm welcome by friendly staff. Recommended things to do in the area and gave me all the information I needed. Very organised. Flexible with arranging late checkout when I overslept. Good size room. It was quiet at night in my room (6 bed female). Big and well equipped kitchen. Lockers in room although not big enough to fit a full size backpack or mini suitcase.
A bit far to walk to the toilet/shower. Would be nicer inside the rooms. Rock hard memory foam pillows. Wasn’t a very social atmosphere when I was there, didn’t seem to be many people around but that just depends on the people at the time. As far as I I know they don’t have organised activities to help you meet people or walking tours etc.

I absolutely loved the location, staff were incredible and so helpful a lovely lady with ginger hair (i didnt catch her name unfortunately) helped me so much and allowed me to store my luggage on my check out day as my train wasn't until later on and I wanted to go out to the city. My room was a 6 bed but only 3 of us for the entire of my stay, Kody and Ellie were the best roomates I could of asked for everyone makes you feel so included despite being 18 and everyone else alot older than me : ) I'd 110% book this again which I may do for an upcoming concert in the city. My only issue was underneath the beds were very dirty and could do with a clean. Other than that it was spotless tones of room for storage you just need to bring your own padlocks (which I did) or you can borrow them for a few pound.
