I liked the size of rooms, very clean hotel, nice pool for kids, the location was great not far from anything me and my kids wanted to do!

I didn’t like how when I got there they told me about a $100 holding fee which was fine the problem was they don’t tell you is that you only get $40 back the other $60 goes for parking( I thought parking is free at a hotel unless stated otherwise)

We loved the pool, hot tub, and water slide. We really enjoyed the cookies they gave us and the Christmas decorations. I liked that the trolley bus came to the doors. The beds were firm but comfortable. The mountain view room was very nice and we loved being on the top floor!

I didn't like that the pool wasn't staffed. Our 4yr old was nearly seriously injured by a group of unsupervised teens. Thankfully, we stay very close to him. He came down the slide, and as his head started to pop up, multiple teens came down the slide at one time and landed on him, which terrified him and scared us. I've pulled dead children out of water, and it sent me into a spiral of ptsd episodes. He cried and became scared of water (we live next to a lake where he swims daily in the summer). Thank God we always keep his life vest on him, or it could have ended very differently. The room was nice except for all the Asian beetles in it! There was a lot of chipped paint on the walls, like chunks ripped off.

The view was amazing, the location good, especially the trolley route, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast bar was ok, not bad but not outstanding, we did not try the omelet station, the staff at the restaurant were very nice with the exception of the one refilling the buffet, he was rude about the gravy top that was malfunctioning. We ate at the The Vista Grill for the evening meal, it was fast service, staff friendly and the food was very good. We got a pizza at Salamander Cove near the pool, the menu was very limited and not what was advertised, but the pizza we ordered was hot and good. The pool is great for every age level. The hotel was clean, the lobby spacious, parking was a breeze, and once again, the trolley service was a good choice.

The pillows need to be firmer, once you lay on them they go flat.

About the property everything is very good, the cleanliness, the location, the transportation to go to the town, the view of the mountains from the balcony are stunning.

The only 2 things I didn't like is the attention at the front desk, I was attended by a man named Matthew with a bad attitude, I told him that in the application he does not mention that there is a charge for parking per night, and that the fee of the dogs on the website was $35 per night, and he was very rude answering that he had to charge that. And at the restaurant I had an incident with the food with bone in the salmon fish, I put a report and they told me that they were going to call me and they never called me. They have a staff that does not care about the well-being of the customers. There was only one person from the restaurant who was interested in me and I tried to help me, her name is Lesbia Paz.

The area was great we were close to town. I like the high mountains. We were able to stand in the park lot and seek the Smoky Mountains. I love the food. the atmosphere and the pool was just right for my children. Everything was super great and wonderful. Watch out if you like heights the elevators are great but if you don't just turn your back to the window and just take the ride all the way up to the top it is wonderful this is an amazing Hotel.. Do take a driver behind the hotel. The atmosphere is out of sight the waterfalls are wonderful the drive was excellent you will get a chance to be part of the Smoky Mountains atmosphere. But do look out for the Bears because they are all around the area. I left a couple of pictures for you to see..But don't let that defer you from renting this hotel because it is amazing.

There was nothing I did not like about this hotel. But there was just one little incident. When we were at the bar it did take a little longer. for them to wait on us. But outside that everything was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody that would like to come and stay in the Smoky Mountains. .

Pool was lovely and entertaining for kids, restaurant food was good. Free public trolley service directly to the door was very convenient, also within a mile from the main strip. Wonderful view at the edge of the Smokies with no nearby developments.

Despite being pet-friendly, dogs were only allowed within a small outdoor area. My 75 lb German Shepherd easily escaped the room requiring day boarding services. Staff were totally unprepared and unhelpful with this. No EV chargers on site and staff were unaware of the closest location. No balcony furniture. Terrible kudzu overgrowth all over the property should be addressed (invest in some goats!)

Location

1. Fee for breakfast. 2.No one told me the rate will be higher staying on a higher floor than a lower floor. Me and my sister both had the same room type and her room rate was higher than mine and the front desk said that’s because we book a lower floor than my sister when we check out. I did the booking thru third party and no where we were ask which floor to be on. Seems like when we checked in the room, she could mention the rate was different for each room and could have find another room with same rate. At the time of check in didn’t bother to ask with so much going on. Took sick driving to TN but really enjoy ourselves!

Location is great. Stayed during an artic blast in January 2024 and the road leading up the mountain to the Park Vista were clear and maintained, as well as the lot. Close to lots of attractions but far enough away from them at the same time.ds Rooms are huge and the amenities are good. Beautiful views of mountains or Gatlinburg from most rooms. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful

At first I didn't like paying to park, but after seeing how well they keep their property safe and snow/ice free, I was ok with $15 a day parking,

Enjoyed the made to order omelette.

I think you need a spring cleaning of the pool area (back hallway/stairway leading from top pool area to the bottom). Pool slide, windows in pool area need a deep cleaning too. You need to change the lunch & dinner menu a bit more. For example, you could have a soup and salad and or sandwich to the lunch menu. Offering the exact same thing for both meals is disappointing. Parking should be free for guests, and you should consider military discounts somewhere… stay or at the restaurant.
