Tent was well set up Great bed, shower & toilet room Very good outside table & chair area Kitchenette was functionally good Location was great at Pinky's beach Bar & TV screen area was very good

No real security in tent as no locks on tent flap zips, allowing easy access for intruders Bacon was not properly cooked & cooked breakfast was nowhere near standard of a top hotel yet I paid a six star hotel price for superior tent Food quality outlet was also mediocre Tent was noisy with canvas rubbing against bed

I loved the attentiveness of the staff. Friendly, professional and polite. The place was clean and kept immaculately. The location was perfect with private beaches, the lighthouse and great facilities and the food was exceptional . A place to relax , or have fun or both. If you are going to Rottnest you definitely have to experience this place.

No complaints at all just suggestions. Two things I would offer or perhaps you do but I didn’t know about them :- A transfer service from the ferry if required. A late check out ( I did see that you have this but I only saw it as I was leaving which was a shame. )

Breakfast is a must. Variety, fresh fruits, bacon and eggs and good coffee. There's also a selection of fresh pastries. Perfect for families with children. Location is breath taking. Just stunning.

Although, it was advised to keep noise from a minimum after 10pm. People were still playing loud music and not being considerate till around 11:30pm. There was a number to call to complain but when you're already in bed and feeling annoyed you don't want to add more into it by getting up and look for a number...

Absolutely everything. Clamping in style and comfort. Went with our two granddaughters and parents. The kids enjoyed the freedom, biking, pool and fantastic breakfast. Their tent was only a stone throw from our tent. The beds were the most comfortable beds on all our international travels. Living on the beach in Perth we loved to hear the sound of the waves and enjoyed the breeze in the tent and walking just a few steps down to the beach. Tent isn’t really the right choice of description. A big thanks to all the staff, from reception to every single staff member. You’re a great team and made us to come back again.

Couldn’t find any fault

Location at Pinky's beach beach is amazing - white sand and crystal clear water. We went from Sunday to Friday after the kids had gone back to school so it was not too crowded. The glamping tents are spacious and simple and provide everything for a comfortable stay. Big bed - nice linen, walk in robe, bathroom with two sinks, good quality Australia made bathroom amenities, a large deck with a couch and barbeque, kitchenette with nespresso machine. Many good quakity restaraunts in walking distance - we particularly loved Hazva at the Basin. Staff at the Discovery resort were all friendly and helpful.

The divans inside the tents are quite dirty - the covers should be cleaned regularly. Some ice-cube trays would be handy for making ice.

Perfect location, was upgraded. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

Only issue was the bed. Sort of sunk on my side. Apart from that it was perfect

Beaches are amazing, location was perfect, great place to watch the sunset and the rooms were very comfortable, Quakkas are everywhere especially at the resort which is great and the main reason for the trip so this was a huge plus! Had a really nice breakfast as well which was nice to eat outside by the sea and lighthouse.

The floors in the tents could have been a little cleaner, but appreciate its all outdoorsy here so difficult to maintain, I wish Rottnest generally had better protections for Quakkas, a lot of kids touching and feeding them when they shouldn't be but the resort was good at managing this though, with staff who really care about the animals.

Very comfortable main bed but bunk bed mattress a little hard. We were disappointed that there was a wedding on when we arrived at 8:45pm and we could not access the bar, the wedding was a bit noisy but did finish before midnight. Maybe the other bar should remain open longer when a private function stops other guests accessing all facilities. Minimal security onsite so people who were not staying in resort were able to access it and wander freely around the accommodation

Comfy around the time we were there, very nice and the bed was warm and comfy, and the amenities were lovely. Pinky's beach was around the corner and the swimming in the beach was lovely. Bags went in and out on time and was placed inside the rooms which were a plus, we weren't sure if the luggage would just be thrown outside but at least that gave us the added security of knowing our bags were safe on the property.

Swimming pool was too cold. We tried going in there but it was too uncomfortable to stay in the pool for very long. Also it's quite expensive for what it was, the Hotel was cheaper than. This by a margin.

Great breakfast with amazing pastries! Pool is great, especially for children when you have had enough of the beach or just for a quick dip on a hot day. Great location. Walking distance from the ferry. Walking distance to the main shopping street. Beautiful native quokkas all around. Pinky Beach right next to you. Comfortable beds (mattresses and pillows) Kitchenette has a coffee machine and a fridge. It's very handy to keep your water/drinks cold on a hot day. You'll get the basics (towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion). The bathroom also has ear plugs, a hair-dryer, a box of tissues, and a disposable shower cap. You also get a pool/beach towel per person. I wish I knew that so I didn't have to drag extra towels.

I booked a Superior family tent, and we were given the accessible 🦽 superior family tent. Someone might see it as a benefit, we didn't. The tents are great and spacious, but it does feel like you are holidaying with the people next to you. You can hear everything. We had a toddler in the tent next to us, who woke up screaming until he self-settled. He woke up all of us, including my children. Discovery resort is on top of keeping quiet after 10 pm, and you can ring a number. We didn't ring them, though, as there is nothing one could really do. Babies/little children usually don't cry all night. The pool lounges are dirty. Could do with a clean. Some smudged food/snot is visible on all of them.
