Both beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were of high quality, my co guest and I both had wonderful sleep both of the nights we stayed there. Not only were the bedrooms warm and inviting, but the joint living, dining and lounge room meant that it felt as comfortable as staying in your own home. It didn’t feel like a hotel, but was more akin to a comforting holiday home. The amenities were all wonderful and clean, both showers had excellent water pressure, and each bathroom came with complimentary shower care products, such as conditioner, shampoo and body wash. Myself and my co guest thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to both swimming pool and gym. We were pleasantly surprised that there were changing rooms and showers to accomodate guests, which meant no unnecessary or uncomfortable trip back to our rooms to get changed. Best of all was the view at night, the balcony and bedrooms offered spectacular views of the city. It was serene and peaceful to eat our delivery food on the balcony during dinner time, made even easier by the fact so many restaurants and cafés are close by. The staff were always lovely no matter the time of day. and were willing to go out of their way to meet our needs. They were very accomodating to my co guest who has autism, and were never judgemental or unkind. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you.

Parking was a nightmare travelling solo with a child. Only 60 spots for over 200 rooms. You cant pre book and theres no priority system, if you dont arrive at 10am you wont get parking. I wasnt forewarned of this and on arrival with a small child I then had to spend over an hour trying to sort out parking. The pre arrival email simply stated parking is available on site which is not a true reflection.

The location is great, at the edge of Civic so can walk to most places. Great eateries, shops, theatre all near by. Self contained and very well set out, just enough room in mini suite, 1 bedroom for two people. Staff were very helpful especially at check in, I was only able to book parking for the last two nights of my two night stay but Yar at reception helped out by letting me into the car park to unpack my car as I was traveling with my young grandson and wouldn't have been able to walk back and forth from another car park. The room was lovely, even opening windows to let in some fresh air, great kitchen area, small but had everything needed for two. Coffee machine was a bonus, nice and fresh smell to the room too. Secured building and a perfect short stay.

My room card holder said I had an 11am check out time. At about 10:25 I received a call from reception asking if I needed more time to check out. I explained the time on my card holder and said I would be leaving soon. About 10-15 minutes later hotel staff knocked on my door asking if I was ready to leave. I showed my card holder that clearly said my check out time was 11am. He nodded by didn't look impressed. I left a few minutes later and noted to the woman when checking out the time on my card holder and explained that someone may have made a mistake but that is what my card holder and I showed this to her. She was polite and said that was ok.

Location was very handy and within walking distance to many great bars and restaurants. Felt safe walking around. Parking was full but we parked on the street and it was fine but you just need to remember to top up the meter as needed. The property itself was modern and quite new and the rooms were spacious and very well appointed with full amenities which is handy for a longer stay or just to spread out and have your own room. Lovely indoor spa, pool and sauna but we didn't use it but will next time and there will be a next time :)

Free parking downstairs would've been much appreciated considering the room rates.

Bed was super comfy. Kitchen fully equipped. Apartment clean if not rather sterile.

On Booking.com the Meriton indicated that on-site parking was included. Directly under 'Most popular facilities' it read 'Indoor swimming pool' - 'Private parking' - Free Wifi' - 'Family Rooms' etc. But the day before we were informed by email that there would be a $30 nightly fee for parking.

It was clean and easily accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was available.

The facilities were too modern; everything relies on your technical ability and apps. (Not so good for older customers) The TV works off your computer apps and you have channels downloaded on you having an account with a service different apps offered which offers you access through your network. It was not even possible to connect to the news or basic channels. The bed and pillow were too hard and the towels were too hard.

Staff are extremely friendly. Great location. Ideally located for Central shopping and Culinary food restaurants, all within a comfortable walking distance. 15 minute drive from Harris Food market, D.F.O outlet & airport. All local places of interests for tourism purposes, are situated within a 15 minute km radius drive. (Checkin-into the property prior to trying to park your car.) No off road 15 minute parking is available prior to checkin - for quick check-in purposes. You'll be required to park at the front entrance to the property on the actual footpath at the Meriton. There are 'NO' signs to indicate where you should park prior to check-in. So, use your discretion, as no entry is permitted until you have checked-in for parking. Your car once parked will be parked securely. Limited parking is available. Pre-book your car parking bay when you arrange your booking to stay. My husband and I both enjoyed our 6 night stay at this property as we ventured about to visit central Canberra tourist attractions throughout our stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The pool is also a lovely area to indulge and awaken your senses.

We stayed in a three bedroom apartment that was very spacious and well appointed. Each room had air conditioning and a TV as well as bedside lights and an excellent King size bed. We also had two bathrooms and a balcony from where we could see the lake, the Carillon and Parliament House. The location was superb and was a very short walk (5 mins) into the main shops in the city centre. There were also two cafes just outside which made getting breakfast very simple, and numerous restaurants nearby.

I was very surprised that we had no luggage racks so had to leave our bags open on the floor of the bedrooms. This is a BIG omission. I also thought the towel rails in both bathrooms were poorly designed so that wet towels had to drape over each other as they were too close together. Form over function??

Fabulous Apartments, clean comfy and wonderfully coinvent location to the City Centre. Rahul and his team checked us in speedily and kindly. We pre purchased parking as per instructions and this made our check in very smooth indeed, as the camera recognised our number plate and no mucking around with scanning etc. We were kindly upgraded to a corner suite with superb views over Canberra - a beautiful sight to see both early morning and in the evening. Meriton apartments consistently provide a wonderful stay and the gym, pool, and sauna in Canberra do not dissapoint. Great value for money and helpful team - highly recommend

Good location nice building and fit out

Was a bit disappointed with the service. When we got in the room there was urine in the ensuite toilet. I went down to let them know and while they did apologise there was not offer to clean the toilet. What’s worse was they said it was being held for inspection and was just released! Also requested to have some additional dishwashing liquid as the one there was nearly empty. Was told they would bring it right up, however they never came.
