Lovely staff and while I had a few issues (broken shower head, cold water) they fixed them immediately. The pool is better than I expected, Salt water, very clean and deep for it size. It's in a non tourist part of town but you can walk to the historical areas in less than 10 minutes downhill and its a nice quiet location. My bed was amazingly comfortable

Simple breakfast but some items ran out so quickly ( guests taking a lot) the choice was often too limited or non. Filter coffee only. For me, unreliable hot water. But as it was so hot out it wasn't a deal breaker.

The best thing about the Hotel was the suuuper nice and welcoming receptionist (I think his name is Ali), who always answered our questions and solved our issues with an outstanding kindness. :) The Hotel is super modern and well equipped. We really liked our big room with the amazing view on the city of Sarajevo as well as the private pool and sauna which we could use for free. The location of the hotel was quite nice for exploring Sarajevo old town and to use the cable car for mount Trebevic (highly recommendable). On the other hand it's really tiring to get there, when you arrive by train or bus and using one of the reliable and cheap Taxis would most likely be the best option. The breakfast was also very good and included some traditional food, which was nice to try.

I would have liked a bit more variety and options for breakfast, but everything that is offered is delicious. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is located near the center of Sarajevo—a very convenient place if you want to reach the center on foot. Getting here by car is tricky, but that’s not the hotel’s fault; it’s just the reality of the city itself, with its narrow streets crowded with parked cars and very little space. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. There is a decent swimming pool in the basement. It’s not large, but there’s enough space to swim a bit. The breakfast was nice. Nothing fancy, but the quality of the food was good.

The infrared sauna was almost at room temperature—not even warm. On our second night, the swimming pool was closed without any notice or explanation. The parking lot is not secured, and in the morning I found stains of red paint (I’m still not sure it wasn’t blood) on the car. Nothing a car wash can’t handle, and again, not really the hotel’s fault, but still something to consider if you’re traveling by car. Other than that, everything was quite fine.

It is really nice that the accommodation has a sauna and a pool. The breakfast is pretty ok. The room was always clean. I loved that the bathroom floor is heated. The location is great, close to old city center.

We initially booked a Deluxe room with city view, but they didn't have a double bed, only twin beds - although the title said it can be double or twin.

Very clean, modern & spacious room. Pool was lovely and refreshing (not heated in summer which is good). Breakfast was small but good for the boutique size of the hotel. Parking was easy and safe once we got the directions ok.

Nothing bad with the actual property but google maps takes you down a street which you can not actually drive through to their parking area, BUT if you take Bakareviceva Street and turn onto Bistrik-Madresa Street from that direction you will be ok! Other than tricky directions from google nothing bad at all!

The people working there were always friendly, helpful, and made us feel truly cared for. The food was amazing. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view, and the location was very central, which made it easy to explore the area. This wasn’t just a place to stay — it felt like being part of something meaningful. I would honestly recommend this hotel to anyone. You’ll feel welcome, safe, and leave with memories you’ll never forget.

As a World traveller I preffer ckean accommodation with easy to reach center of the town or places of interest. This Diamond Rain hotel is an absolute GEM in Sarajevo. Very kind and helpful owners, perfect reception service, lovely pool,clean and comfortable rooms, with tv, coffee&tea facilities, slippers, towels, safe, fridge. Very tasty breakfast and a little terrace to sit outside on a sunny days. My three days stay made me fully satisfyied, cable car to the top of the mountain Trebevic, the Old Town just few steps away. Thank you for everything.

Lovely hotel! I have to say the best part of the experience was the amazing Ali at reception. His warmth and 5-star service was something I have rarely seen in the hotel industry. I hope management seriously consider what an asset he is to them. My mother, who was a nervous driver, had some difficulty with the parking, but Ali assisted us with such enthusiasm and we left all the parking to him. It was a pleasure seeing his positive demeanour each day. Faruk was also excellent - very kind, helpful and respectful. Our room (305) at the top was lovely, and we were overall satisfied with our stay.

For the price of the hotel, the breakfast should definitely be improved (fried eggs were served cold everyday, few vegetable and fruits options that were good, etc). I also recommend checking in with hotel beforehand if you plan to drive to the hotel (you may not want to take the google map route).
