Great value stopover spot with very friendly and helpful owners & staff who were more than happy to open up the kitchen and make us a proper meal even though it was late-ish and they were busy at the bar. Seems to be the place for the locals to hang out and they were a friendly bunch too. The accommodation block is separate so the noise from the bar wasn't really a problem. We could park so close that I could move bags from the car into the room almost without taking a step!

Accommodation has everthing you need but is no frills and no unused space. Not really a criticism: if you don't expect anything fancy you won't be disappointed.

I actually liked the room we had was comfortable just come from a very long drive, staff were amazing and the food 😲delicious

Just a local around there was a bit noisy but algood otherwise

The hotel was in close proximity to town which was good to walk everywhere and not having to worry about driving anywhere.

There was nothing I didn't like,my partner and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Great staff, near by the town centre, smooth communication from late check in to late check out.. lots of parking and meal options that will have to check out next time..great stay 😊

The pub patrons were rather rowdy, but the owner/manager (?) was more than happy to allow us to take our meal and eat it in our room.

Over night stay before a very early train in the morning, check in was easy, plenty of parking, even for later arrivals, room provided everything we expected.

Nice old fashioned hotel/motel. Rooms are adequate, nice bar and the bistro serves some really good food at a reasonable price.

Very dated, almost like going back in time.

Cosy, clean, comfortable and fresh towels every day.

No where to wash food dishes, reluctant to use bathroom
