Immaculate. The bed and bedding were very comfy. The roof bar has a nice view of the river. It has a decent armchair and minuscule desk. Absolutely quiet on the 4th floor. I did hear the neighbor’s door slamming closed and kids giggling in the hallway on the way out but that’s it.

The decor, while in great condition, reeks of the 1980’s and not in a good way. The padded headboard, the strange combination of dark navy and dirty peach curtains, and the very odd hospital-like sheer/net combo. Not quite enough lighting. I received one each towel, hand towel, and wash rag. Great strong texture but a bit small. Shower: hot with sufficient pressure but only a fixed head. You can tilt it a bit if you’re tall enough so you don’t get splashed with the cold! No towel racks. The carpet was worn and only a little stained near the fridge.

Reasonably priced hotel in a great location. Comparatively we could treat ourselves to a junior suite at the Hu so we had a bit more room. Loved the rooftop bar - catch yourself a Memphis sunset with some drinks. It’s got to be one of the best views in town. Easy access to tourist interests and great restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Breakfast is simple (but does the job!), and there’s no Tea/coffee making facilities in the room but the team are always available to help and there are great cafes nearby for anything you need. It’s not a dislike, it’s just to note for your expectations.

Everything! Everyone was nice great breakfast just had to wait cause everyone kinda eats all the food up so we sat for 30 minutes to get food took a while for the cook to make more. Not a problem for me just for my husband I’m really not a breakfast person anyway. We really enjoyed ourselves. The whole weekend was raining hard and cold so we will be going back on a dry weekend so it won’t be miserable walking over to Beale street. Will definitely book at HU again very cozy comfortable room! Very nice staff

The alleys are an issue at night do not walk alone if you can help it!

I booked a room in the Hu. Hotel for my son, a professional musician, who was attending a convention in Memphis. He was very pleased with the hotel and the friendly, helpful staff. He especially liked the rooftop--the bar and the view. The hotel was close to the convention venue and just a short walk to Beale Street. Breakfast was available at the convention, so he didn't have the one at the hotel. He hopes to return to Memphis in the near future and plans to stay again at the Hu.

The hotel was easy walking distance from Beale St and everything downtown. The staff were very nice. I was upgraded to a suite, which was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable! The hotel is a member of the gym across the road, which has a good selection of equipment and offers classes (at an additional cost)

The hotel would benefit from a touch up/modernising. The air conditioning was loud and the street noise was audible even on the 5th floor

The junior suite was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the reception staff were always helpful. The location is excellent, easy to walk or trolley to Beale St. and other attractions. The hotel provides an information pack which is useful. We asked for housekeeping a couple of times and it was always done without any fuss..

One item that could be improved is the shower. For me it wasn't powerful enough and no manual spray attachment. A couple of tiles were loose around the bottom of the shower wall, probably from water ingress.

Excellent location. We had a great room (1607) and enjoyed our stay.

The reception was lukewarm as though the person at the desk couldn’t have cared less. I wish there were coffee makers in the room. Coffee was provided in the lobby at all times. The hotel lobby is beautiful and has potential for a bar and also specialty coffee but it seems they aren’t making use of the space to provide additional services. It is a shame. I would have bought coffee and breakfast each morning and definitely had a cocktail. The roof top offers drinks for a limited time. Again, here the service was very lukewarm.

We were in a bind since our other hotel decided we didn't have a reservation. I called Hu Hotel and they got me squared away so quickly. The staff was so helpful and reassuring. What a relief to stay at Hu Hotel! The room was big, the bed was comfy, there was a bathtub and a shower! Parking is in a garage across the street for like $22 a day

The shower never got hot. We were only there for one night, so we didn't have time to ask anyone to address it.

The location was great, beautiful room w/ a view- loved the decor & the amenities of the room. The staff were friendly & helpful. Also, for it to be a busy night due to Jhene Aiko’s concert, it was considerably quiet on our floor & throughout the facility.

The parking situation could have been better & there were burn holes & left over food particles on the carpet in the living room. The carpet could definitely use some shampooing.
