The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and just as we expected for the cost and type of hotel booked. All the staff we encountered were polite, friendly and very helpful, especially Joanna - so a big thank you to all of them. The added cooking amenities and the fridge in the room were welcome. The pool area was very pleasant, and the car parking was very easy. We enjoyed the quieter location out of the main town and off the busy road, although there were very nice bars & restaurants and a small convenience store close to the hotel, and other transport links literally at the bottom of the road. I would recommend this apart-hotel for a decent no frills holiday which represents excellent value for money. I would certainly stay there again.

Pool area is gorgeous , pool bar was open every day Cheap and cheerful somewhere to put the head down It is quite isolated but convenience store nice restaurant coffeeshop and burger kiosks down the hill and around the corner Buses are every few mins and the bolt taxis very cheap They didn't ask for 50 deposits but 10 deposit for tv remotes and safe The two bed apartment was huge two bathrooms 3 balconies looking down at the pool Air-conditioning worked was a bit noisy

Would have liked an extra change of towels they won't change them more than.once in the week ,

Always feel welcome at this hotel. The friendly and helpful staff ,the quiet location,the great value, the spacious self catering rooms, the walks, the bus connections, the countryside views all make our stay very relaxing and memorable.

There is a lot construction work and changes happening to the hotel at the moment. Thanks to the staff ,Joanne and Lorna and the cleaners this didn’t affect our enjoyment. I hope they retain the charm.

The apartment was super clean. A little dated and few minor repairs needed here and there but very clean and comfortable beds, that is what we needed and got. Both the bedrooms were very good size. The outdoor pool area was nice, plenty of sun beds and the bar is very useful. Location is nice - has the cafe round the corner, the pitstop, fruit van, wine store, convenience shop, everything you need. We liked exploring the heritage trail at the back of the hotel, some great scenery and historic pieces. Just over the road is a designated swimming area in the sea, so was nice to have a dip in that too. St Pauls is about 40 mins walk, or short taxi, so nice to be out the bustle of that, but close enough.

We had no complaints.

I had a good stay at this hotel. feeling of going back in time, (except the elevator which is very modern) which promotes a different experience. I arrived here after 10 nights in a 4-star hotel and I can assure you that despite not being a modern hotel, everything was spotlessly clean (in the room I stayed in and where I went). Nothing is new, but everything is very well taken care of, the sheets were immaculate. I didn't have much contact with the staff, but in the little contact I was well attended. I didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked clean. With affordable prices, it is highly recommended.

Unfortunately there were no sockets near the bed and anyway, in my room (4th floor) floor, I was not able to connect to the Internet and as I need it to work at all hours, I shortened my stay. The region is quiet and not full of commerce, being excellent for just relaxing.

I arrived 2 hours early, since my husband had died unexpectedly the day before and I just couldn't stay at the location he passed away. Him and I were looking for a permanent home, but hadn't found one yet. Upon arrival I was greeted real friendly, so I started crying. They were a great comfort, made sure I could get in my booked apartment within half an hour and were just there for me during my stay. A close friend flew in the day after and due to the layout of the apartment he could stay with me. We had 2 bathrooms, 1 separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We were able to make our own breakfast daily, which was really nice. Unfortunately they were fully booked from the 12th of May, otherwise I would definitely have stayed there. Whenever I couldn't sleep I could just go down to reception and have a chat and a cry. They pulled me through my first days as a widow and I will be eternally grateful for that.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Great value hotel and accommodation for the price. The location was easy to find, with some fantastic local restaurants, cafes, and places to visit.

There was nothing much to mention that I disliked. It would have been nice to have been notified that they were conducting renovations in the hotel during my stay. However, this is most likely a very short-term occurrence.

The location is quiet and close to the waterfront, so you can enjoy an evening walk; it also has a bus station really near. The room and terrace were big enough. We stayed at the ground level, so it was not that hot. The bed sheets were cotton and soft to touch. The staff were nice.

We were shown other 2 rooms before we got the one that we actually reserved and payed for, a bigger room with a terrace. The room was not the cleanest. Old appliances and air conditioning.

The position was great: several of the most beautiful beaches of Malta were reachable by bus in only 20 mins. Moreover, right passing by the hotel, starts the Xiamxija Heritage Trail. The hotel has a great outdoor pool, which is a big plus. Our (family) room was spacious and well equipped. The organization, in general, was also good.

A got a room with great sea view on the top floor, so it was amazing. There was also a indoor pool to use. Friendly receptionists. The hotels is right next to a bus stop that takes you directly to the airport.

Breakfast was included in my booking, but it was definitely not a great breakfast. The first day I had English breakfast and the beans and sausage tasted strange and a bit undercooked, as I threw up later that day... The other two days I ate mostly bread and scrambled eggs and it was OK. But yeah, breakfast is very basic and I would probably skip it next time.
