Good location

Quite a hill to hike to get to the apartment. All telephone numbers given as contact persons on emails can not be reached during urgent situations.

The service both before and during the stay was beyond excellent. RACHELE was the finest host anyone could ask for. She set up transportation and tours at a great price, with a private driver. And, she also provided us with written tour guides so we could get the most from our experience THE BREAKFAST WAS TERRIFFIC! It is only two blocks to restaurants, pastery shops and shopping. Having a host on site is so nice. She was available 24/7 should we need anything. We felt very special at her house. We would stay there again.

One of the two queen beds in our room was very low to the floor. It would have been terriffic for kids, not so much for older ladies. But the service and care made up for it.

Apartment close to two metro stations. A bit uphill but not a problem. Beautiful view of Lisbon. Several major shops nearby. Very comfortable beds. If you like hard mattresses, you'll sleep well. The apartment is spacious. In the morning, a rooster from a nearby cottage wakes you up.

Low water pressure in the shower. You have to wait a while for the water to heat up. Small kitchen equipment: 2 pots and a frying pan with teflon off.

Clean, well situated and good amenities (ex: air conditioning). Very welcoming and responsive hosts (fixed Wifi issue quickly). Very nice views of the city, good value for money and the location was close to downtown Lisbon (20 minutes walking, 3 metros stations). Would recommend to my family and friends.

Steep hill to get up to the apartment building from the main street. A bit difficult for my father in his late sixties, but taxies are affordable and a god option if mobility is an issue.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Aircon in all rooms. Location was great for us - quiet but still close enough to town center. Great views over the city from the apartment (8th floor and on a hill)! Check-in process was smooth.

The apartment is in some need of repainting and DIY. Beds were a little too hard for our liking.

The apartment had everything what we needed. As a bonus, we could admire a beautiful view on the city. It was not too far from tourist centres or metro stations. There is nothing to complain about this accommodation.

From all rooms you have an excellent view over the city.

I wish there had been laundry soap for us to use. Milk in the fridge would have made breakfast and coffee much easier.

Very clean and nicely arranged. The hosts are helpful.

Spacious apartment with well-equipped kitchen (appliance-wise) and plenty of storage in the bedrooms for 2 people. Location is walking-distance from 2 metro stations and other transport; 20 minutes to waterfront. Plenty of shopping around for groceries and household items (napkins, paper towel, soap, toilet paper, etc.). Lovely view from windows Quiet most nights until 3am -- refer to dislike. Free entertainment by locals hanging around the convenience store and plaza, as seen from the living room window (way more interesting than TV). AC in bedrooms and living room.

This apartment is located at the stop of a very steep hill that may not be manageable if you have mobility/respiratory issues. We are 2 ladies used to hiking.....this truly was a daily workout for 9 days. Small bathroom with slippery old bathtub, toilet position vs sink is hazardous, shower equipment wobbly, need to let shower run for a while before getting hot water and then caution as it is scalding; protruding electrical wires!! Shutters in queen bed bedroom, not fully closing; neurotic rooster going at it all day, EVERY DAY from 3am; and dog barking all night -- luckily only for the last 2 nights of our stay. Without a car, not much to do in the evening but watch reruns; we did not feel too safe walking in the neighbourhood after dark. Only boiled eggs on stove top; pan was gross. Lacked rags, dish towel, utensils, scissors not cutting Broom should be trashed; black socks were white after sweeping floors....... Photos on web site are of a time when the apartment most likely was new; now shows age/use.
