The was a lovely bed and breakfast located on Lake Como. The mother and daughter who run the bed and breakfast are wonderful hosts who were helpful with instructions on navigating around the island. The rooms are huge--this is a true villa. They serve a very filling, delicious breakfast daily and there is one very good restaurant, Ristorante Momi, for lunch or dinner within walking distance. The bus stop to Como or Bellagio is right in front of the property with easy access. Also, the boat dock is only a 5 minute walk from the property.

The property is located in a very quiet area without many stores or restaurants; but on the plus side it is very peaceful and far from the throngs of tourists.

5 stars+ all around for B&B Villa Constanza. The owner Donatella and her daughter Francesca went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and our stay the most pleasant and memorable. Rain caused a temporary washout of the road to their B&B before we arrived so they kept in touch with us and arranged alternate transportation to get us there. After a long and tiring day of travel, Donatella made a us a great pasta dinner (best pesto ever)! Breakfast on the patio every morning was a great start to the day. Throughout our stay, Francesco gave us great advice on places to see and restaurants to eat. They helped us understand the ferries and buses, and even made dinner reservations for us. After busy days of site seeing through all the crowds, the villa is a quiet and relaxing retreat to decompress. It is beautiful and views are amazing. They really go the extra mile. If you are planning a stay in Lake Como, do yourself a favor and stay here. You will not regret it!

Getting around the lake using the buses and ferries can be challenging. Buses are often late. Views from the ferries are spectacular, but they take a long time and the schedules are confusing. Be prepared to spend several hours on them. Next time, I would probably rent a car.

Donatella is the most perfect host. Her home cooking and the coffee are superb! The extreme effort Donatella puts in to making her guests comfortable exceeds excellent! She went beyond her call of duties and provided optimal care of our needs all stay. Donatellas knowledge of the area, tours, restaurants and ensuring we captured all this wonderful culture made our stay one of our best ever! The facilities, amenities and guest products have to be rated to the highest of standards. The Villa is stunning and aesthetically grand! The spectacular and spell binding view is breath taking! The location is perfectly situated between easily accessed and sensational towns to visit via bus or ferry. Complete contentment our whole stay! We felt very sad leaving!!!

I could go on for days on just how wonderful our stay was at Villa Costanza and how unbelievably hospitable, accommodating, gracious, and above and beyond our hosts Donatella and Maurizio were during our stay. They made us feel like family and spent time providing for our every need down to making us dinner and even driving us from our trip to Bellagio and to dinner one night. Just out of this world hosts. Seriously one of best parts of our European trip to multiple destinations was staying in their beautiful home overlooking the amazing views of Lake como!

Not a lot of places to walk to given the busy road but Donatella made arrangements for us for a driver when we wanted to venture out and made all of the dinner reservations so it wasn't a huge deal.

It’s brilliantly located in a serene location overlooking the lake ..donatella the owner was brilliant & made us feel like our own home …she was kind enough to book the private boat & reserve the restaurant…inspite of the early mrng checking , she was awake to greet us & make very comfortable..

Donatella and Francesca are excellent hosts. They did everything to make our stay unforgettable. From recommendations for restaurants we wouldn't have discovered and reservations in activities, to help us when we had a puncture. The homemade breakfast was delicious. The villa has a fantastic terrace overlooking the lake which makes you feel like you are in a special place. It is!

Our stay at this Lake Como villa was pure magic! Donatella and Francesca were incredible hosts, ensuring every moment was unforgettable. The villa's comfort and breathtaking views were surpassed only by their hospitality. From organizing outings to recommending local eateries, they made our experience truly special. The view of the lake from the room and terrace was superb. It is a beautiful place. Breakfast was excellent. And of course our hostess was very welcoming, always willing to help, even with the heavy luggage.

Nothing about the villa. Lake Como is rather difficult to get around. It is very steep from the boat landings up to the road. Even in early summer the boats and busses were full. But that is the way of life in Como.
