This hotel is truly a hidden gem. It’s located above a perfume shop and they have diffusers from them throughout the hotel, so it truly smells amazing. The hotel is quiet and calm, yet located right in the heart of all the action just a few steps away. It feels homey and warm here. I truly didn’t want to leave. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, the showers were great, the beds comfortable, amazing AC. They have someone come pick up your car and park it for you in the garage which was so nice because driving in Florence was a bit stressful so I was very grateful. It felt safe and secure too which was important cause I was alone for the last 2 nights. Breakfast was amazing - everything they did felt so personal and thoughtful. I truly loved my stay here and will definitely be back.

This was a small hotel that really delivered! The staff were very welcoming. The rooms were updated with cool AC system (which isn't as common in Italy as it is in the US) and very clean and cozy. My favorite parts of our stay was the hidden tower included in our room AND the smell of the entire building -- there's a perfumery in the same building as the hotel so it always smelled so, so nice throughout the day. Florence is small, so most hotels are close to many sites, but this hotel was across the alley from a nice restaurant and a wine window. We loved it here.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The AC worked very well which was fantastic after a long flight, and we stayed very comfortable with the high outdoor temps. the bathroom was spacious and the location of the hotel was central but no outside noise could be heard.

My Only disappointment was not understanding the "VIEW" was up a flight of stairs that led to an unaircondioned room that was too hot to stay in July. I did not fully read the description to understand the view was not from the room. However it was a beautiful view and would be wonderful for most months of the year. I would stay here again.

This hotel calls itself a palazzo, and that is indeed what it is: housed in a great, baroque-looking palazzo. My room was very spacious, with an excellent modern but stylish bathroom and very good airconditioning (necessary during the July heatwave). Staff were helpful. The location is perfect, with several Firenze must-sqees within a 5 minute walk (like Palazzo Vechio, Uffizi or Santa Croce church and square) and many restaurants nearby, even an excellent one just across the street (La Buchanteria or something like that) You should be aware that staff is only present at the front desk from 8 a.m. till 7 pm, that this means breakfast is only served from 8 onwards; and that there is no "savoury" breakfast, just a "sweet Itakian" one (basically this means: no eggs, no charcuterie). But I had been "warned" about the breakfast type when booking on booking.com and in fact found the breakfast excellent

Nothing, though people with another travel schedule than mine could find it annoying that breakfast only starts at 8 a.m. and does not include eggs.

It was just incredible few nights in this magical hotel. Everything is very well organized, easy check in. It was cool to take a ride on the oldest elevator in Florence which is located in the building of the hotel. Our car was taken on the arrival, so we had no hassle in finding a parking space around. We booked the room with our own tower, overlooking the whole city which was a - cherry on cake! Good breakfast, our room was tidied up every day, refreshed water and towels. The amazing perfume shop downstairs - Aqua Flor made this stay unforgettable with its smell. The location is central, easy access by walk to all touristic places. It was truly memorable trip for me and my husband. We will try to come back!

The lady on the reception was not very friendly to us, it left a bit strange feeling after our departure but it didn't affected the impression of the whole stay.

It was outstanding. The room was a perfect location and we grew fond of the kind and welcoming staff. Every day our room was cleaned very well and they were very understanding about anything we needed assistance with. The view from the tower made the stay.

There were about 50 private short spiral stairs up to the tower, but very easily manageable if you are able bodied. Well worth the view. We spent our last night privately watching the sunset behind the bell tower.

- Room was very modern and comfortable. Very nice decor. - Limited interaction with staff however they were very quick to respond via WhatsApp if we had any questions. - Fantastic location, quick walk to main attractions, restaurants and shops.

- Not a significant drawback as we came to Florence to try the local restaurants and visit the local shops. We found the bar/restaurant area to be very empty and never saw any staff or visitors there. This could be a missed opportunity for the hotel to offer a nice glass of wine or a snack for visitors at the end of a day of touring Florence.

We like the location of the hotel. It is close to everything. The room was very roomy, clean, and well decorated. The breakfast was sweet and simple. We only tried it once. Glad that the building has an elevator although it is very small.

Our bathroom door didn't work the way it should be. We need to push very hard to open or close. Talked to the staff but couldn't fix until we left. The lightning of the room was a bit dim.

The room and hotel was beautifully charming! The location could not be beat, it is very centrally located and everything is walkable. There is an excellent restaurant directly across the street. The check-in was located on the 2nd floor, and the room was right down the hall. They do have an elevator. There was an outdoor deck located off of the breakfast area which had nice views. The room was spacious, had A/C and a large TV. The bed was huge an very comfortable.

Parking was odd and expensive $38.00 per day. It is a 3rd party person that you pay directly. You have to notify them at least an hour before you want to pickup your vehicle and parking is not onsite it's at an offsite location.

Beautiful little boutique hotel (ony 9 rooms/suites) situated inside a secure, private courtyard on a quiet side street. Yet it was around the corner from the Basilica Santa Croce and only a 5-minute walk from the Galleria Uffizi. Perfectly located to walk to all the major sites, restaurants, shopping etc. yet the area maintained the feel of a local neighborhood with school children in the piazza, folks grabbing a morning cafè and croissant on their way to work and lots of people out for evening stroll. While the door to our room (#9) was on the hotel's only floor, once past the door we had to decend a flight of carpeted stairs to our suite. This was not a problem for us but could be for anyone with a mobility issue. We had not been advised beforehand; as the hotel was full booked there were no other rooms available. Most of the staff were friendly yet professional. We would return to the Palazzo Roselli Cecone in a heartbeat!

The hotel communicates via What'sapp. Due to an issue with my sim card provider I was not receiving messages in real time, so be aware to check for messages.
