The apartment was great, clean comfortable and easy to find - we arrived at midnight and had no issues at all, it was all simple and straightforward. The communications from the apartment team was good and all information was helpful and clear. It was spacious and very well equipped and in a lovely quiet location. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others.

If there was one improvement (and it is very picky!) the balcony could have been lower as the wall was so high we couldn’t see over it- but we could sit out so the wall was an extremely minor, minor thing! And it was safe.

A very nice experience un the center of Funchal. I loved the location and the fact that it had a parking space, the rooms were nice, very clean and welcoming, all appliances in the kitchen and felt as home, super easy check-in/ check-out without contact. Just outside the building there is a brunch place super delicious with enormous portions and good varieties. In the little square there are terraces and places to have a drink in the evenig. Also super close to everything, great restaurants at every corner, best place to just stroll on the beautiful streets of Funchal.

The mattress were not super comfy but this depends on each one preference. The building is in a mini square that might be busy and loud during the season, couldn't tell exactly since we were there in November and terraces were closed early. But the bedrooms are on the opposite side, so no problem with sleeping.

Really good hosts - available and responded quickly. Lovely apartment - light, spacious and very well equipped Excellent location - edge of old town, short walk to velha district and promenade A few restaurants in square outside apartment block. And supermarket 2 mins walk away

Marketed as balcony with courtyard view. The balcony actually overlooked car parking spaces - which was disappointing Quite a few derelict properties around the apartment block took some of the ambience away. My Partner would have liked a full length mirror at the property. But none of above would stop us stopping again

Very spacious and clean 2 bed apartment on the top floor. Super central location - walkable to everywhere in Funchal, yet lovely and quiet at night, nice view from the balcony. Great water pressure in the bathrooms. Dark bedrooms at night due to outside shutters. Good value for money.

The apartment could have a few more soft furnishings to make it more homely. Some people have mentioned in their reviews about feeling unsafe due to undesirable characters outside, and whilst we did see a few people, they were completely harmless and it really didn’t bother us.

Great apartment in the very center of the city, everything was at a walking distance. The house was clean and fully equipped. The parking space includes was very very useful being in the city center. The check-in was fast for the house but slow for the parking.

Finding the parking wasn't very immediate and even tho the owner sent us a video to find it, we had some trouble leaving the car in a random parking space then going in the apartment to pick up the garage remote and then going away again to find the assigned parking space. Then the parking space was changed during the stay (to a space inside the apartment building) but in general I'd consider improving the checkin experience to be smoother and clearer. This one wasn't up to the excellent level of the apartment (and its cost)

This apartment was perfect for the 3 of us. The rooms are nice and dark for the morning sun, the area is fairly quiet and beds are comfortable. Really loved having that balcony with the view of the mountains and of the little square. Location is in good walking distance of the town and great place for brunch right next door. Check in was super easy and hosts send a whataspp with all info needed. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Towels could be softer for the shower.

A great location with secure access, close to local attractions, a wide variety of food and drink outlets and transport. It was easy to navigate and walk to all these local attractions. True to the advertising, Madeira is the place of festivals and we were treated to a magnificent fireworks display during our visit. Our island travels were easily accessed and pickups were all within walking distance of the apartment.

There were some unsavoury people loitering about the plaza, though they did not bother us.

The flat was extremely comfortable, beautiful, clean and brand new. The amenities were very thoughtful. It had inside parking and the entrance to the condominium, the building and the flat is managed with a passcode, which is extremely convenient. The host was very kind and responsive at all times.

The location, despite being at walking distance from the Centre, was rather odd. The square was populated with drug addicts and homeless people. Although we felt no harm at all, the environment was quite decadent and heartbreaking.

Very spacious, clean and well equipped apartment for 4 people, in the centre of Funchal. The whole apartment is modern and there is a code for entry, so no keys needed. The washing machine was handy as we travel light. The location is great, 2 minutes walk to a supermarket and the historic centre of Funchal.

We couldn’t sit out on the balcony because of the drunken shouting and shenanigans of the residents of the local hostel, who are turfed out early each morning on the square below the balcony and stay there, drinking, throughout the day.

Spacious, clean and well furnished accommodation. Excellent location, close to all the amenities and sea front. The hosts were very easy to contact , quickly responded to our queries, and accommodated our requests for slightly early check-in / late check-out. Good cafés and restaurants nearby. If you stay in this accommodation, would recommend the "Loft "café and restaurant right next door for breakfast, brunch or drinks.
